Quotation process was quick and easy. Installed the day after it was ordered. Works beautifully. My wife could not live without it now. No difficulty for me to get past the lift and continue to use the stairs.

Had a good experience in the sales and design process, with adequate information shown and given. While designing I was asked about the positioning of the chair at the top where the door is and also the side on which the rail should be situated along the stairs.
I am not the aged person for whom it was intended and didn't realise the chair does NOT swing around BOTH ways. There is plenty of imagination required so stepping through every single action with explanations of operation (which only the sales-person would know) is essential in pre-design. A longer time for the design process is required. A pictured manual or brochure with components explained which steps through the motions of the stairs chair-lift as per individual design would also help the sales-person to cover every single detail before the sale.

The implementation was good, quick and firm installation. Equipment seems of good quality, however it does creak when it starts at either end.
(I am giving the review on behalf of my father's experience about 4 weeks after installation.)
A month later my father arrived and finally started to use the chair, we realised the challenge he had in getting out of the chair at the bottom of the stairs straight into the garage. He had to shuffle 270deg around into the garage. The provided footstep is too tiny and too recessed under the chair for any comfort. Handles or bars fixed to the wall to help the aged lever themselves up are additional suggestions. We could have designed the chair and rail to be on the right side going up the stairs to help dad at the bottom to walk off directly into the garage. The chair could be designed to swing right OR left along with the footstep to facilitate the movement of the aged person better.

2 weeks from ordering to installation. Easy installation. All done in a day. The wife enjoyed it for 2 weeks then was confined to her bed and passed away on 3/12/2022

The guy who installed the stairlift was excellent, he did a fantastic job and explained how to use it very well.
I always knew Acorn was a reputable brand having worked in the health industry. I would have no hesitation in recommending this brand.

I am pleased to hear that ECH are proceeding to make Acorn Lifts an approved supplier for all their many clients.

My only negative comment is about the Velcro on the weather cover. Contact between the two strips is a little difficult, add the lining of the material to the equation it can be a bit frustrating at the top of a flight of stairs. Perhaps press studs instead of Velcro. I was happy with the fellow who installed the unit, nice bloke. I’m very happy with the mechanicism and it’s performance. Thank you.

Very professional from start to end. The technician came within days after I sent a quotation request. Reasonable price for 2 lifts. Had them installed in 10 days after contract. The installer was very efficient, tidy & professional. The entire process happened very fast and smooth. Very happy with the lifts installed. Highly recommended !!!

It was easy to arrange quote and the installation went like clockwork everything was easy and followed a logical sequence. The stairlift worked brilliantly and the members found it a god send. It was very well received and gets lots of use.

Susana displayed incredible patience and eventually secured the order- that girl needs a pay rise.

We were also very happy with the Gentleman who installed the lift.

From the first contact with Accorn to enquire about prices, through to booking an onsite quote, having the quote, booking the installation and the actual installation it has been a pleasure dealing with all of the staff. They were all very respectful, helpful and did their best to have the stairlift installed as soon as possible. The installation of the stair lift for my mother who has mobillity issues on stairs has been the best thing ever - according to Mum. I have to agree. The weight that was llifted from Mum's shoulders when she realised how quickly it could be installed and knowing she no longer had to plan her day around minimising the number of times she needed to use the stairs.
