AccuVision - The Eye Clinic Recensioni 

I can't praise Accuvision (London) enough. Easy conversations and a thorough assessment before the operation. We discussed options and I chose monovision (blended vision) where one eye is adjusted to near focus, the other to distance and, the brain compensates for everything in-between.
The laser eye surgery itself is quick and painless, at most, it might be described as 'mild discomfort' for 30 seconds.
As long as you follow the aftercare instructions (sunglasses, rest the eyes, regular drops) it's straightforward. A follow up is required the next day so, if you're travelling any distance, I'd recommend staying overnight in a hotel nearby.
I'm three days in and nothing negative to report. (My near vision is better than I remember it ever being. The distant vision is good but is expected to improve further as my brain retains itself.)
Most of all, the experience from start to finish has been exceptional; reception, consultants and surgeon all friendly, considerate and professional.
Obviously, I've not tried the competition but, I have no regrets choosing Accuvision.

My journey with Accuvision started with a simple online enquiry. Shortly after, I received a call from the actual medical team - Dr Dinarvan. He was incredibly reassuring on the phone and took plenty of time to explore the different options available to me, which immediately put me at ease.

He then booked me in to see him in person, and from the moment I met him, I knew I was in very safe hands. Dr Dinavan was extremely professional and took me through every step of the process. He showed me all the scans taken using their fabulous, state-of-the-art machinery and explained each one in detail, making everything clear and easy to understand. We also sat down for a thorough conversation about my lifestyle and what changes might be needed, which I really appreciated.

I had my surgery with Mr Kalognomas and it went perfectly. I experienced a bit of discomfort for a day or two, but everything has been absolutely fine since. I’ve already booked my aftercare appointment and I’m very pleased with the progress so far.

I cannot recommend Accuvision highly enough. The professionalism, reassurance, and genuinely patient-focused care have been outstanding from start to finish.

I have just undergone LASIK Eye surgery at the clinic and it’s been one of the most increadble terrifying and awe inspiring things I have ever been though,

I hated wearing glasses the distorting lenses the slipping of the nose the fact I couldn’t get play sport, and contacts dryed my eyes out.

And 6 days later I have 20/20 in both eyes, the surgery itself was easy and quick if a bit daunting and after the surgery I’ve experienced only mild dryness and no other symptoms of discomfort!

This morning I woke to the golden sun pouring through my window rising over the trees in the distance -that I could now see so well, and I think it was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.

The entire team where warm, supportive, funny, caring and kind throughout the entire process, I couldn’t be more grateful to them for helping me.

I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic to everyone and anyone who wishes to undergo LASIK.

I had corneal collagen cross-linking surgery on my right eye at AccuVision back in 2020, and the experience from start to finish was excellent. The doctors and the entire team were superb — both before and after the surgery. They were extremely helpful, answered all my questions, and explained everything clearly, which really put me at ease.

From start to finish I had the most amazing experience at Accuvision for my lasik surgery back in July. Truly Life-Changing: From -15 Astigmatism to 20/20 Vision

For years, I struggled with extremely high astigmatism—a prescription of minus 15. The heavy weight of my glasses was a constant frustration, and I worried that true freedom from them wasn't possible. Finding the Accuvision clinic has genuinely changed my life.

I had laser eye surgery at AccuVision back in 2013 to correct long-sightedness, and the results were incredible—I haven’t needed glasses or contact lenses since.
This week, I returned due to some changes in my reading vision, which the team had advised might happen with age. The visit was absolutely brilliant. I spent over an hour with the optometrist, who carried out a full set of tests and explained everything clearly. The staff were friendly, the clinic was spotless, and I felt completely at ease throughout.
Most importantly, I wasn’t pushed into unnecessary treatment. After all the tests, the optometrist confirmed that further surgery wasn’t needed at this time. That honesty and professionalism really stood out.
If you're considering laser eye surgery, I can’t recommend AccuVision highly enough. They’ve earned my trust twice now.

My experience with AccuVision Solihull has been nothing but excellent! I honestly cannot describe how happy I am with my results, I went from being reliant upon glasses with a complex prescription, I actually had my eye test free on NHS as my prescription was so complex. I was told about 19 years ago by another clinic that I wasn’t suitable for eye laser surgery and I just thought I would have to wear glasses and contact lenses for the rest of my days. However, after seeing a review on Facebook, I went into the AccuVision website and started reading through all the info. I learnt that there were others that had a high prescription like mine and had been for laser surgery with amazing results. From the first consultation I have been looked after by all the staff and I felt at ease throughout on my surgery day. Everything is was made so easy and so clear I honestly cannot fault the service and want to shout from the rooftops that everyone who is on the fence about this treatment should go ahead and do it as for me it has been life changing so far and I am honestly eternally grateful for my 5 star service I have received. I had a free consultation call with Anthony. I could not hear him on the line due to a fan in the office, so I asked him to repeat what he was saying, but he seemed a bit agitated. I then contacted the clinic at Fullham, the receptionist's tone of voice was not welcoming either, so I asked her to remove my contact details from her database to which her tone changed to a more polite and understanding way. They might have had a bad day or a long day. However, the way you interact with a patient is very important, especially where the patient is going to spend a lot of money. You will need to improve in the customer services. Help the patient to feel at ease and welcome, a surgery is always nerve wracking..

I had LASIK at Accuvision’s West Midlands clinic on 9th August 2025. I am writing this review on 11th August 2025. So far my experience has been amazing. The consultation was a breeze, very fast and efficient. Thankfully Accuvision told me I was a suitable candidate after optical express had told me I was not. On the day of the surgery, I was a bit nervous but the great staff they have put my nerves at ease. The surgery went well, and was completely painless. After the surgery, they had a look at my eyes and sent me home to recover. Once I got home, I was waiting for the pain/discomfort to kick in. IT NEVER DID!! Not for one second have I been in any pain or even discomfort at all, it’s amazing. I went back for my 1 day follow up and they told me my eyes are healing well and that within the next week my vision should be quite stable and 20/20. I will continue to leave longer term reviews as I found long term reviews helpful when making my decision. The only side effect I’ve had so far is that my eyes can get a tad dry, but that’s what the drops are for! So I make sure to put them in and so far I have been using my eyes as normal, just without glasses :)
