I would leave no stars if it were possible. This "firm" either don't turn up on time, or just don't turn up. How not to run a business. A taxi is booked at a particular time for a particular reason, it isn't a just turn up whenever you fancy it. We had to drive to a wedding before because they didn't turn up and today they were an hour late and didn't even give a toss. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

I am really disappointed by this company on 6/8/2023 as when I phoned up and asked to book a taxi for 5 people they said to me 30-45mins which I did not mind and then after the time the taxi was meant turn up it did not so I phoned up again asked them what was going on and 247 just made an excuse up that they were delayed and baring in mind this is a Sunday night as well

Quite possibly the worst taxi company to exist. The name 247 is a blatant lie, they prioritise on the day bookings over pre booked jobs, assign you a driver then either cancel it themselves or allow the driver to unassign themselves from the job which is a complete joke, if you've accepted a job then do it, useless company, tried to complain to their office and they made excuse after excuse stating it wasn't theirs or the drivers fault.
Do not use under any circumstances, the owner doesn't give a damn about the customer, just how much money he can make, which can't be that much considering how many jobs they've lost due to incompetence.

Two 7 seaters booked weeks ago for a wedding party pick up from the Cherry Barn at Peasmarsh and they cancelled the booking on the night without letting us know after dropping them out there. 12 members of my family were left stranded, 2 of which elderly, at midnight. Sadly this is not an isolated experience when you talk to people it seems to be a common occurrence, they just don’t care. I just wish people who have been let down would share their experience; it leaves people in such a vulnerable situation. A Rye firm came to our rescue after a lot of stress and worry about how to get that many people home but it was 1.30am by then! Please do not rely on them getting you home late at night and especially any girls out there needing to get home safely.

On 2023-05-19 i have been having exhausting day and decided to go shopping. As i sold my car i have called 24/7 company to pick me up from Aldi st leonards and guess what. They said they'll be in 20 minutes but taxi never came. They said driver has canceled. I have always been picked up so i called them again from someone's phone, because my phone batery was depleted. They said driver said you wasn't there. I said i was always there. They ordered second one and assured it willi be 10 minutes. Waited for another 30.minutes and taxi wasn't there. I rang them 3rd time they said its my fault that i am not waiting outside. Company owners need to quickly take action as someone within takes this company down really bad. Probably other companies play dirty on this company. I am waiting for personal apology from company. Random driver hearing me frustrated said he would help me get back home. I will tell everyone about this experience if i don't receive apology for wasted time. I finished my shopping at 19 o'clock and got home only 22 o'clock.
Have used this company for at least 3 years.
Have used this company for a couple of years but has gown downhill completely. 3 times I ordered a cab for a hospital appointment. 3 times it was late. Most recently I bought a large amount of shopping. Cab arrived at supermarket. Driver stayed in cab until I had loaded the 6 bags, dropped with off without speaking and didn't even offer to help me take any bag out let alone offer any service. Finished with them.
Utterly untrustworthy, do not rely on this cab firm
We booked a cab several days in advance to pick us up from outside a venue at 10.30pm. We called a couple of hours beforehand to confirm the booking. We waited outside in the cold and the pouring rain. They didn't turn up. After 15 mins we called to be told the cab was just a few mins away, no explanation given, no apology provided. 15 mins later, still no cab, so we chased again. Finally the cab did turn up, 35 mins late, but we were cold, wet and miserable. Nothing against the cab driver, he was nice and got us home quickly. But as for the firm itself, it is utterly untrustworthy. Do not rely on this cab firm.
Terrible taxi company
Terrible taxi company. Booked £468 worth of journeys with company and asked for an invoice, was told that they couldn't send me an invoice after I called back three times asking for it. Had to cancel all journeys. 247 247 obviously don't need the money, what a disgusting way to run a business. Glad I'm now taking my business else where!

DO NOT USE THIS TAXI FIRM. Unfortunately they have a bit of monopoly but try to find another company. This is not the first time I or someone else in my family have booked a taxi at least an hour in advance and we are left waiting outside int he cold for 50 minutes for a phantom taxi. Absolute zero customer service and a ridiculous phone software system that doesn't enable you to speak to anyone.
Disrespectful driver
So last night I booked the taxy for 8.30a.m because at this time I finish my work. Taxy arrived one hour later and usually I pay 8.90£ for the journey but now I was told that I need to pay 12.20£. I asked the driver why I have to pay this amount and he ignored me for few times and then he told me “long wait,more money”. I didn’t get the joke so I asked again ,I told him how much I usually pay and he said “no,maybe you pay 9.90£” ,so again I said “8.90” . He said that he came a long way for me but I don’t think this is my problem, I have to pay for my journey from work to home.Is not the first time when someone is coming for me in this situation,but I never paid 12.20£!All the time I paid maximum amount of 8.90£. Very disrespectful driver !

I will never use this company again
I’ve always used 247 in Hastings, but will NEVER do so again. The last couple of taxis I booked were unreliable time-wise, but the very last one was 45 minutes late. There were no calls from the company to let me know and no apology. The driver told me he had been free some time before but they never sent the business to him until a couple of minutes before he eventually picked me up - it wasn’t his fault. Apparently it’s to do with some new software they are using…and it shows in the service they offer.
Consequently, I missed my train and the connection in London, which caused a whole load of hassle and a penalty fee to change my train ticket.
This is no way to run a taxi firm. I would also rate it zero stars if I could, like someone who has rated them before me. I am now using other firms who, so far, have been so much more reliable.

If I could give zero stars I would. Booked a taxi in advance to get to a show my daughter was performing in. 5 mins late I called for an automated voice to tell me they couldn't find a driver and couldn't even estimate how long it would be. Why accept pre bookings if you aren't going to honor them. New carmiles to the rescue. Will never use 247 again.
Useless
Useless. I made an advance booking to be at an appointment on time. Booking accepted. Car is late. I call but reach an automated service detailing that they are trying to find a driver and will get to me when they can. Roll up, roll up, for a lucky dip! Jokers!
Booked return trip to Birmingham…
Booked return trip to Birmingham airport as was basically same price as using airport car park plus fuel. Driver spot on with times collecting and return pick up at 3.30. Excellent service and value. Will definitely used again..many thanks
Don’t accept bookings if you don’t have drivers
We booked a taxi well in advance for a 8.40 pick up, knowing we had a 15 minute window. After a number of calls we were finally picked up from the train station 50 minutes later, cold and damp.
This happened previously and we stopped using the company for over a year but were advised it had improved. Clearly this is not the case now. It is not the fault of the drivers they respond to the allocated pick ups.
247 really need to look at the level of service they are offering and if they don’t have the drivers, be honest and advise us whereby we could book with an alternative company
