They used to call themselves "The Beef People" That's laughable. Now they sell the lowest quality meat in any major chain anywhere. The idea of trying to deceive people by stating in their ads that most their beef is "Govt. inspected"...like that is some sort of bonus.. All beef in this country is inspected if it's sold at a major grocery store. The fact that theirs doesn't even make the lowest grade of "choice" should tell you something. Why try and deceive people? Their ground beef has enough added water to fill a glass, their hams are miserable and full of water, I just bought one and it is nothing but fat, tendons, bone and WATER!! An insane amount. Their chicken is 1/4 skin and 1/4 fat 1/4 bone. I have family that worked for this company for over 25 years then retired. I have stories that make your toes curl. But I digress... Every store brand product that I have ever tried is a fail. Their produce spoils quicker than Aldi's and time after time they try and pass off half rotting onions and potatoes and cucumbers etc. I only go out of desperation when I am in need of a few things. They are just a block away. But I am done with them. I will drive the miles to PUBLIX and spend more for at least far better quality and a strong money back satisfaction guarantee. If Winn Dixie thinks throwing money at remodeling their stores, which they desperately needed, will make up for their high prices and the low quality on almost everything they sell, not too mention the highest egg prices of all the stores chains, they are mistaken. They will fool a few but not me, not anymore. I AM DONE! If you are from out of state and new to Winn Dixie chains, try to avoid them. They have gone so far downhill in quality it is a crime.

Winn Dixie has the best prices, quality fresh produce and foods. The Winn dixie I go to is about 45 miles away from where i live but well worth the drive. There once was a couple of Winn dixie stores located where I live but was closed due to rouses opening . I will never shop at rouses the produce is fly infested and I cannot stand walmart. There's less than a handful of choices regarding grocery stores in this area . I spent 300 at walmart and sams I literally felt robbed. I spent just under 200 at Winn dixie and when I was putting the groceries away I had to store foods in the other freezer and pantry because i ran out of room in here. The sales they have are great, while in the past the other stores had sales on items i never purchase which was useless to me. The seafood is fresh . The employees are polite , helpful, and they keep the store clean and stocked. There is no self check out which makes for a more personable experience. I loved Winn dixie stores in every location that I've ever been shopping at. If you can't find the product as they may not sell it, simply notify a manager and they will put in a request for that item to become available in their store on the spot. So next time you go they will have it. It's a great experience to shop where you get assistance when you need it. If you are not satisfied with a purchase, they go above and beyond to ensure satisfaction without hesitation. Also they make your experience pleasant since they are not constantly rearranging products making it hard to find like walmart always does. You can expect to run in and grab what you need quickly, checking out is not time consuming since they have more than just two cashiers . The employees are wonderful , friendly , not once in my experience that I had a question was told "i don't know" . If they don't have the information you need they stop what they are doing to seek the answers. I don't know why I haven't gone the distance to get the quality service and foods inthe past. I decided I had enough of walmart and choose Winn dixie. It's by far the better choice. Thank you Winn dixie !!!

Winn Dixie at 3800 ocean Blvd ft Lauderdale has gone down hill. Always late opening in the morning, customer service desk no one is there to assist you. Haitian workers have nasty attitude. I stood at the customer service desk 10 minutes and had to call out to see if anyone was working. Please hire better employee.

Last night I was in a windixie in starke and the manager with blonde hair kicked out my service dog even tho I told her he is my service dog her reason was he wasn’t wearing his vest I registered him 2 days ago that why he doesn’t have it yet but she didn’t even ask she wanted him out

The store is always clean. The employees are wonderful. Some shelves have empty spots but that is due to logistics. The whole atmosphere of the store makes you feel like you are part of the family
