I know ya'll are aware of this.Still love the bogo but seriously the app is awful & makes me not want to shop here. Publix has no problems ever with their app. Please get someone to fix this. I'm headed there now but I know exactly what I'm getting & I'm out. Thanks!

Winn Dixie Cocoa Beach Canaveral Plaza

The store in Cocoa Beach Canaveral Plaza is the worst in the area. At one time, after the reopening after a hurricane, the store had great potential. The staff was great, always helpful and willing to provide wonderful customer service. In the last year or so, no seems to care. Products are moved to new locations every other month it seems. When you ask an employee where the item is located, no one knows or they do not carry it any longer. There is a woman at the self check out who has a terminate scowl on her face and has to be one of the rudest people. I hate to point out but blond hair. For instance, I was standing near the self check out looking at my grogery list before actually getting in line. In front of other customers, she yelled across from the other side of the aisle and said what are you doing? I said I am about to check out but looking at my list. She replied you cannot stand there and block everyone. There were no other customers there. Another time I forgot my wallet in the car after self-checking out asked her if she could put a hold on this while I ran to the car to get my wallet I moved the now full cart to the side and she acted like I was going to run out of the store stealing the entire cart when I had already asked her if I could leave the cart right there. Rude. The customer service "counter" is anything but. Again an older man is working who knows nothing about customer service. When asked for a specific item, he said what color is that? I replied if you are working at customer service you should be aware of products by name. Ended up walking out without purchasing the items I intended to buy. Aldi is purchasing Winn Dixie but unfortunately, this store will remain Winn Dixie and most likely under the horrible management that exists there today. Someone should take note and make some changes. I hate to complain about people who are simply trying to make a living, however, it would appear that moving people to other positions where customer contact is minimal would be a better situation for everyone.

September 2025 UPDATE since the takeover of this location by SouthEastern Grocers, the shopping experience has significantly improved. Was in the produce department yesterday and found an excellent selection of very fresh cut fruit at acceptable prices. Produce employees were friendly and helpful. Besides the SouthEastern brand, new brands are available, including the good quality Know & Love. Have found great sales and prices in canned goods, beverages, and household products. Will definitely keep Winn Dixie on our shopping list. It is great to find canned lima beans in stock. Another grocery franchise only has them frozen. Winn Dixie and Kwik Chek are part of the history of shopping in South Florida, so we are glad to see this local store making a turnaround in 2025.

February 2024:Local W/D has been struggling for years, located in a half empty shopping center. One employee did greet us while shopping. This location has been purchased by Aldi, but will continue under the management (?) of Winn/Dixie South East Grocers. Noticeably, product locations have been shifted around the store in early 2024. Three or four other shoppers agreed that they were having difficulty finding what they were shopping for. Employees at front of store are overburdened at checkout. No smiles, it is a grim & sad store. Another shopper helped us locate an item we tried to find. Plan to spend double the time, because you will need to cover every aisle and still may not find what you need.

Improvements Noted

Giving the Winn Dixie in Valdosta, GA two stars is actually an improvement over what I would have given it for the last two years. There have been major changes in personnel in the last couple of months, and I've seen positive changes in customer service and quality control. They still have room for improvement, but attempts are being made to improve the store, Thank you!

Well I decided to order from Winn Dixie…

Well I decided to order from Winn Dixie on line and prepared an order taking a good amount of time. Delivery was set to arrive between 2 pm and 3 pm. Other than a lack of clarity on sales items everything seemed to go smooth, confirmation received, my bank showed a pending payment. At about 2:10 I received an email my order was on the way. 3 pm came and went and just prior to 4 pm I called customer service. They were to call back and I did receive a hang up, followed by an email that I was no available. They said my order showed delivered but the department said there was a problem so I would be fully refunded but had to call back the following day due to posting. No order and more for me to do after wasting a considerable amount of time. While a received apologies I was given no offer to resend the order. One would think that would have been the right thing to do but no offer to resend and we were out what we needed for dinner that evening. This was a very bad experience with little to know help to resolve the matter. I suggest that people think twice before ordering from Winn Dixie. I know my order will be placed elsewhere tomorrow. My rating from 1 to 10 is below 1.

So now a call back for my credit and have to Waite 10 days or more for the refund. Their process and my loss. They don’t have a clue about customer service and highly recommend you avoid Winn Dixie.they are not worth the Trouble. Personally I am boycotting the and recommend everyone does. Incompetence at the highest levels

So after waiting for about 10 minutes, I just left without getting what i needed. They kept talking to their friends. The workers here could use a crash course in understanding their job. Do not use their online ordering app

I decided to try their online ordering app and compare it to Wal-Mart's. What a catastrophe! The list of available items is not even close to what's available in the store. Even after I placed the order and selected a time to pick the items up I got a message stating the order was available to pickup NOW - 2 hours before the time I had selected!!! Since there were several cold items and I was available - I drove over to pick up my order. When the shopper came out I asked if anything was shorted and she said no, everything was complete. When I got home I found 5 items missing and no receipt to prove I was not charges for them. I tried call the local store and was given an 844 but they reversed the last 2 numbers so I got some sweepstakes scam company - NOT Winn Dixie. Today I called and got the correct number that eventually ended up in India. The person could not be understood at ALL. I was finally (after 20 minutes) able to relay the issue with my order and was told the refund would take 7 to 10 business days to show up on my credit card......
I will NEVER use their online ordering app again!

No register clerks only self checkout.

I went to the store in the morning and filled up my cart at 7:50am I went to check out. I was told I would have to use self-service as no other registers were open until 8:00am. The deli would open at 9:00 am so nothing from there either. At 75 years old I do not use self checkout for more than a few items. Store location Nova Road, Port Orange FL

Swinn Dixie. The Thief People!

The company forces you to use the phone app and not a card. No problems there, right? When you accrue points, the Customer Service Reps can go into your account to find out how many points you have, write down your phone number, go to the nearest grocery store, and use your phone number to buy their groceries with your points. This happened to me twice so Winn DIxie refuses to give me back the points I earned. If they would make it so you cannot use your phone number to check out then everything would be good. They refuse to make this change because they'd have to reinvent the app. So they care more about their vulnerable app than their customers. Because of Winn Dixie's app and being complicit in theft by their CSRs, I shop at their competitors now.

This is about the pharmacy

This is about the pharmacy, I have been going to this pharmacy for years and have walked away disappointed 98% of the time, when you call for a refill on the phone it gives you a time your prescription is supposed to be ready, well in the few in yrs that I have been doing this I can remember one time when my prescription was ready on time only one!!!! I’m tired of this I’m going to find a new pharmacy. Over all poor costumer service as well! Don’t fill here

Only giving 5 stars because of the sweet young lady who went out her way to assist me. Cashiers have awful attitudes and looks miserable i just think they should fire every last one of them and keep the young lady. Shes always smiling, friendly and FAST on the register by far the BEST employee there. Wish the young lady wore a name tag so she can get honored.

My commendations to Kevin, from Produce!

So I went to my neighborhood Winn Dixie.. which I go to at least once a week.. except this time, I was a little stressed out and in a rush to get balloons for my sons graduation dinner. Tbh, the employees haven’t historically been very friendly (except the sweet girl with the pretty pink hair; she is always so friendly and courteous and deserves a raise:). However, this time, Kevin from produce, assisted me in choosing and filling a bouquet of balloons. Not only was he incredibly friendly and professional, but I feel he went above and beyond in helping me to get the mission accomplished; and on time, so that I wasn’t late for the graduation dinner! If it had not been for Kevin’s help, I would’ve had to go elsewhere and would never had made it on time! My commendations to Kevin for being such a kind and amazing employee!!! Thank you so much for your patience and assistance! I sincerely feel that you handled the situation with far more patience and kindness than any other employee would have done; let me once again suggest: Kevin likewise deserves a raise! From what I’ve seen, Kevin and the girl with the pink hair (please forgive me for not remembering your name right now and know I feel awful for referring to you in that way… I just wanted to acknowledge you:) are the two employees that best represent that establishment. Kudos to you both:) Your strong work ethics show in a time where this is actually quite rare; it’s very refreshing and should be acknowledged:)

PS.. Kevin, you asked me to let you know: Yes, the balloons actually made it through riding in my trunk and through dinner:) Thanks again!

I’ve been shopping at Winn-Dixie solely…

I’ve been shopping at Winn-Dixie solely for eight years now because of the rewards program. I am a disabled woman on a fixed income, so the rewards program was always a great asset. However, as of the last year, they have just been absolutely cheating me out of my rewards every single time I shop. Just in the last four months alone, I have had to call SEG Grocers every single time I’ve shopped to try and receive my points. Finally, the last time I shopped there I had left a bag in the self checkout area literally two minutes before they closed. No one was behind me. When I came back the next day to ask them to review the camera so that I could retain my bag which was $40 worth of cat food as it is so expensive these days, I was lied to by both the manager and another employee saying that they could see on the camera that I took it with me. I came the next day to speak to the manager that I know is a lovely and pleasant person and after she reviewed the camera , she saw exactly what happened which was that I had left it there and all though she told me she did not go past looking to see what happened to it, she did make sure that I received every bit of my items again. I had explained to the first manager that I was a disabled woman and that’s why it was so important for me to have this bag that I had paid for because I do live on a fixed income and I could not afford more and the entire time I was telling him he was rolling his eyes. I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully and I am a very well known customer there. I genuinely just can’t believe that one human being would do that to another in a situation where it would have cost them nothing at least personally for sure. When I then called SE Grocers the first time to report the situation I was told by both a customer service representative and the supervisor that they didn’t have time to speak to me and that I should call back another time even knowing the facts of the situation. This is all documented both on camera and on a recorded line so I am not spreading hearsay. I am ending my eight year reign of shopping at Winn-Dixie and will begin to shop somewhere else as of this evening.

Today is like many other time I have…

Today is like many other time I have shopped at Winn Dixie . You get a flyer about something on sale and when you get there there is none. Here are some of the reasons I have gotten, the truck did not show up, another reason not on sale until next week, when fact I showed them the flyer, and it was on sale. Today they showed king crab legs and they have none I was told they had none it might come on Friday. This happens all the time, if your going to put something on sale you need to have the item to sale on the day it goes on sale. It is a pain when you take time out of your day to get there early to get an item that is on sale and they have none very very customer service.

Rude cashier: JULIA @ 14600 Palm Beach Blvd Fort Myers FL

I'm putting this review in for a friend who happens to be a senior citizen and is given "GRIEF", every time he goes to the Winn Dixie located at 14600 Palm Beach Blvd Fort Myers, FL by the cashier named JULIA!!! I was with him while he went inside. Today he went in for orange juice and a can of canned pumpkin. He often uses his medicare healthy benefits card to pay for his items. Today, she told him that it doesn't work and that he needs a PIN to use the card, which is NOT true! She ended up calling the store manager, who touched ONE BUTTON, and she said, OH! Of course the transaction went through. But when he said he wanted to attach the sale to his account, JULIA said, IT'S TOO LATE! So, he missed out on the discount for his orange juice, because the discount expires tomorrow!!! All because this JULIA who is constantly RUDE to him, doesn't know how to do her job! Maybe JULIA should put some time into LEARNING HER JOB, instead of giving "GRIEF" to customers!
