A pleasant surprise
We desperately needed a committee meeting and too few people had the equipment for Zoom, let alone being able to use it. I was dreading the WhyPay meeting, but all found it easy to access, were courteous and announced themselves before speaking (though on the whole we recognised the voices anyway). The Organiser was delighted at the saving in travelling and subsistence expenses; as Secretary, I was delighted at not arriving home after a long drive too exhausted to write up the Minutes; we had better attendance and got through the business more promptly than usual. Of course, we will still want to have some face-to-face meetings once the lockdown is over, but I'm sure we will continue to make use of WhyPay as well.

Helped wfh with my husband
Both my husband and I wfh and are regularly using teams. Unfortunately our broadband doesn't cope with us both being in teams and we lose our connections. Work didn't seem to know how to set up a facility like this for us so I found WHYPAY to try and have a plan B. I mean it's not like you need to see everyones faces on every call is it and we all have days when we don't want to be seen on camera. It's helped so very much and has made homeworking a little less fractious. Excellent.

We're so sorry to hear this Joyce. We do pride ourselves on excellent call quality and it is something we receive many positive comments about so it's very disappointing to hear that your experience was not good.
One of the problems with call quality is that degradation can be introduced in many parts of the network and then 'played' into the conference - for example a poor mobile signal for one participant or a hands-free device with the volume turned up too high causing echo.
We're available to troubleshoot this with you either during the call (if it's taking place during normal working hours) or afterwards. Our support team is available on helpdesk@whypay.net or live via chat on the website or by telephone on 033 3443 3366.
Very easy to access
Very easy to access. Excellent quality sound. No internet signal problems. Perfect as a backup to videochat where participants are unsure or audio is problematic.

Excellent service. Easy to set up and free which is fantastic!! The WHYPAY website is easy to use and provides guides and advice on how to set up a teleconference and how to invite participants. Participants found the whole process easy to do from their telephones and we had our first successful teleconference using WHYPAY.

A brilliant resource for our Charity to…
A brilliant resource for our Charity to use FOC ( Citizens Advice) really easy for client, interpreter and adviser to dial in and the sound quality was better than Zoom/Teams often is.
Many thanks and I will definitely use again and would recommend very highly.
