This used to be a great game. They have turned this into a pay to win game. They rig the matchups to even things out. Random bounces on terrible shots end up 2 ft from the hole. All sorts of cheating players. People averaging 54.

I have played WGT golf since it began, that is when it bought up the Links 386 many years ago. I have excelled to a Tour Champion status over the years and enjoyed it for the most part. I have always relied on doing surveys to earn the credits required to play this game without dishing out cash to WGT. Over the last couple of years it has become obvious to me that much lesser talented players can win matches simply because they are paying. These are not sour grapes but simply and observation that I have seen develop over the years.

You buy golf balls, a sleeve of 3 for roughly $5 each for the balls. A few rounds later you get a message that there is only 1 ball left and it's wearing out. So you have to spend more money to buy more balls that end up missing again. That is after you either spend $50 for descent set of clubs or continually rent clubs so you can be competitive with others playing against you. This game is just a hole to throw money into.

Your company needs to be honest WGT golf is so glitchy you are all such crooks you’re so into sucking people into spending a lot of money on your game!! I finally wised up after playing for about 7 years and del my account with all my accolades you company should be ashamed for taking so many people I’m looking into h to get yo company band for deceiving so many people I’ve read the reviews and see that you are barely ov 1 star I should warn people around the world that they shouldn’t buy into your company’s crap!!

Low level players get 8,9 and 10 foot gimme putts which is ridiculous. How are these players supposed to ever learn how to putt?

no tech support when needed. i have had an issue which has prevented me from playing for 3 days.

Total rip off. The higher you get the more you play AI. No way a player at 45 level , never missus the fairway and sinks 40' puts. Or you play level 120 while you're level 92. This game is designed to take your money. I'll play because I like it in tourneys and closest to the hole. Their algorithms are not designed for a real player to succeed.

Game has really gone downhill. They keep putting up ads that don’t go away. You have to shut the game down completely and start over, hoping that same add won’t come up. But it will. Same add came up 18 straight times. They finally took it down after a few weeks, but now they added another one that does the same thing. No one wants to look at ads.

Game play starts off great but as you advance becomes very inconsistent. If you don't spend money, you will lose most of your matches.
Very frustrating.

This game really needs a shorter shot clock. People try to be so perfect on every shot. Golf is not a game of perfect. How about an option for a 15 second shot clock?

Super fun game, you can hit the golf ball!
Should have won the game awards of 2020 and all the years beyond.

Good game ! But .. I often loose many coins, after I left "head to head" -screen. Camera view is often on the bottom. Putting grids often not the same in front & backview. They send me 80 - 85% opponents with much more better material instead of random, when I win too many matches. Why ? Difficult to getting back from well working expensive golfballs back to the cheap ones. 40% skills, 60% pay-to-win, 100% hamsterwheel & a little bit cheating sometimes ( they call it: "our matchmaking $ystem" ).

Lots of glitches, the prices are disgusting and nothing done about obvious cheating. But the most annoying part is the customer service or rather the lack of it. How can they dare charge the price they do and any inquiry is dealt with in the same way. You recieve an instant email saying they are experiencing higher than normal requests bla bla bla, then in 2 days ( yes its always the same amount of time) you recieve an automated reply saying that they will pass it along and they appreciate your feedback. Nothing has ever been done with anything i have raised, the cheating still happens, i've lost countless credits because of glitches, the prices are still a joke with no explanation as to why. I even tried the offer to sign up and deposit to a online casino in order to get 16,000 credits and got absolutely nothing. These people need reporting to trading standards in my opinion, they take your money and thats it

I just played this game on one haul and then when it went to go to the second hole it had all these stupid things popping up and I just wanted to bypass it. Then later I checked and it charged $140 to my credit card. Now I have to dispute it so I right away disputed it with Google and they said unfortunately this is not eligible for a refund with this company. It's a scam. Rip me off now I have to fight with my credit card company. I didn't even give them my credit card information. They stole it from within my phone

I’m giving two stars because I have to be fair six years ago. It would’ve gotten four stars and some change…. Callaway, unfortunately got involved. They turned into a cash cow manipulated the game removed customer service with pre-written responses as of January 1, 2025 they were sold in privatized to a software company in Northern California and it is still business as usual. Zero customer service there’s not even a response anymore.

They base this game algorithmically as a casino would or a beverage company. They look for the 10%. of addictive personality for impulse purchasing, the game is purely based on what you spend I have taught people how to manipulate the game, which they put right there in front of your face so nobody’s cheating but as time is gone by, they have removed these ends so that players must spend more and more money for less and less results

If you’re starting out, it’s best you quit. They will cheat you. The game is not static. They will lie and lie and lie through their teeth that it is yet they will refuse to provide any algorithmic proof that the game is static.

This was a great game and there is a immense amount of potential with it, but those who have gotten their hands on it refused to see what the game can be and only use it to bleed money Into their pockets with a big middle finger to all who play…It is a very untrustworthy app without any guidance to bring it to what it should and has been in the past..

Customer service is nonexistent when it did exist. It was pre-written responses that are completely all subject and base and just another middle finger to a player because they don’t have time or care or concern that could affect the game or their earnings.

These are just greedy, greedy SOB‘s.. Bash this game with With all the negativity that is brought your way don’t be afraid. Speak your mind. Let them know how corrupt they truly are.

In the end, it’s a criminal enterprise. Nothing more nothing less it’s just legalized criminality

I got a YouTube channel completely devoted to ripping this game a new A! so you want some advice on how to make it a good quality Honest game…the potential you guys don’t see is mind-boggling… Callaway destroyed it now you in Norcal have it and you don’t give a crap.. It’s just pay me and you could care less when the game is gone next year…

tournaments some people hit as low as 52 you can't do that unless you're using cheating software, also if you block a quitter you can still play them in a random game... Surely you make enough money to correct the errors... I've just played a block player and after two holes he quit (already blocked""") 😭

Wgt has taken away all the money I paid for upgrades for my 12 years experience. A waste of time and money to be moved to a better position. Please do not pay any money to this company. It is a fraud. I am complaining to the better business and the department of insurance in North Carolina.

Had earned 3 million coins then they started dwindling for no reason. The other day I had 245,000 coins and played a 36,000 coin game, won and ended up with 181,000 coins. Once they steal the last of it I will never play again.
