I am relatively new to dealing with West One as broker and their service and staff thus far have been brilliant. Sean Staunton in particular has been a great help. He is always very welcoming and friendly on the phone and proactive in contacting when working a case to discuss any requirements. He is always happy to help with any issues that I've had and explains clearly what is needed to progress the case.

We had a great experience with west one , Mr. Jake has been exceptionally supportive , it was a complete Right to Buy case we did and the team including the underwriter on the case has been exceptionally supportive and i would recommend advisors to use west one if you are stuck with a complex case . once again thanks a lot for your support and guidance .

Very Helpful
WestOne have been flexible and supportive, especially when it comes to more complex cases.
Kishon has been a huge help, always approachable, knowledgeable and quick to respond.
The underwriting team are just as helpful. They review documents promptly, communicate clearly, and are genuinely helpful when working through the details of a case.
We recently secured an offer on a case that had struggled elsewhere. With the help of WestOne, the offer was issued and the clients are absolutely delighted.
Kishon is great to deal with on both new enquiries and ongoing cases, and the underwriters are quick, flexible, and easy to speak to.

EXCEPTIONAL SUPPORT. SIMPLE PROCESS.
In the world of commercial borrowing, long waits are the norm when it comes to receiving a call back or a response to a query. This is the first major difference I noticed when Wala Rabab was assigned to take care of my first case with West One. Her support and wealth of knowledge ensured my client's case was not just kept moving, but even when other areas of the process slowed things down, West One kept pushing to ensure we were on track. I can't recommend this lender highly enough when it comes to commercial borrowing and a special mention for Wala, who really did go the extra mile to ensure a simple and stress free application process for both me and my client.
Their application is straight forward, they ask for what's relevant and at no point did I feel that as a broker, I couldn't pick up the phone or drop an email if I had any questions.
Very much looking forward to doing business with West One in the future. We need more lenders like them in the commercial field.

Great process
This lender merges the process of a bridging loan into a commercial mortgage, they are quick, flexible and personal.
Use this lender if you have a case which is outside of mainstream criteria and you need a personal approach.

Highly recommend them
Team were great, email responses at all hours - fast and accurate. They made sure we were running on track and ensured that the completion was in the set timelines.
Their rates are also very competitive compared to the likes of Together.

Broker Experience
As a broker, WestOne have provided a client an option to actually purchase their forever home when no other broker or lender could manage to make this happen.
Even though there are a few more steps to this process compared to the generic high street lender, Seema Patel has been an absolute god send in helping guide through this process from start to finish. Always being on hand is refreshing for a BDM in this industry.
The process between mortgage application and offer has also been a fantastic process with access to the underwriters direct who are very responsive and I feel they genuinely want to help rather than looking to decline anything. Joleen Judge has been fantastic through this whole process after submission and I echo the same as I have for Seema above, Jo has always been on hand to help which is so refreshing.
Working as a team with myself, Seema & Jo gave the client the best outcome to which they are over the moon!

Bad experience
Not sure what to say. My broker checked everything pre application with the valuation team made sure all boxes are ticked we only had 5% deposit on an ex council flat made sure to double check if it will ok got a DIP and back forth with documents and rent reference for 2 weeks and then out of the blue today they declined the application no reasons given just did not pass internal checks. Why wasted our time and give hopes and worst we don’t even know what why it was declined and no option or choice was given to
Improve. We can’t even complain.
