Bought a clematis plant online from West Country Lupins. Very fast delivery, medium sized plant but very healthy and well looked after. It arrived with multiple flower buds and is growing strong outside. Very pleased and appreciate that they take good care of their plants. Highly recommend this retailer

Wide range of interesting plants. The website was very easy to use and my plants arrived quickly and without fuss. The plants were secured in their pots with tape and were individually securely wrapped in newspaper. I have yet to see whether they will grow but they certainly looked healthy and had good root systems.

I'm very happy to award five stars! I ordered and received my plants in super fast time. Plants were well grown and sensibly and sustainably packed in newspaper. I highly recommend this nursery.

Plants arrived very quickly and in good condition. Postage very expensive (£12) for 4 small plants. However, you get what you pay for and all in all I am happy with my order.

Bought two clematis plants from here. One through the eBay shop, which died within a week of putting it in the ground. When I messaged I was told I should have contacted her within 24 hours of receiving the plant.

The second one I bought direct from the website. This died before I could even get it in the ground; it had fallen out of its pot on the journey to me (not secured) and despite my replanting it, the poor thing died.

As yet (nearly a week later) I have had no response to my email and I am £30 poorer with no plants to show for it.

I am an experienced gardener, so I doubt I did anything wrong (all my other clematis are growing strongly). I suspect poor quality plants combined with inadequate postage protection.

I recently purchased a Clematis - delivered within 48hrs, very well packed, & a first-class plant; small, as expected, but I believe that smaller plants establish quicker.

Ordered Clematis Armandii ‘Apple Blossom’ which arrived very quickly and was very well packaged. The plant looks very healthy and I am extremely pleased with my purchase

I ordered the Tiarella ‘Pink Rocket’ yesterday morning and was pleasantly surprised to receive the three plants today. All plants were well wrapped in newspaper and padded to stop movement during transit. Instructions on aftercare are clear.
Online ordering can be confusing when the size of the plant is quoted. I had hoped these plants would have been bigger for the overall price including the postage. I am however a very satisfied client.

I have just received 7 perennials that I ordered from Westcountry Nurseries, all of which were packaged well and look very good, healthy, plants. My one tiny niggle is that the box delivered by the courier had been left on my doorstep not the right way up and it was lucky that the plants had been wrapped carefully. A "this way up" sign on the box might be good" so the courier understands which way to stand the box down", although I have to say not all couriers take any notice of that anyway.

Terrible service! 2 of the 3 lupins I bought grew ok but barely flowered but one never grew at all. I have emailed twice since receiving them last summer, with NO response! Very expensive postage but you don't mind if you get what you're paying for. How do I get a refund if they won't even respond to my correspondence?!

Also wanted to compliment you in the packaging. Genius idea using the foam insulation tubing for protecting the stem ; and I applaud your no plastic bag approach. Great way to use up old newspapers.

Bought snowdrops from her ebay site (donkeydaisy). Arrogant and rude person. Snowdrops that arrived had hardly any roots left and turned out not to be what I'd ordered. I bought G 'magnet' (pure G. nivalis), I got a G. plicatus hybrid. I'll never buy anything from her again!!

Sent off for 3 lupin's, £8.50 each £9 post. what I got was 3 lupin bits in little 9 cm no roots on them, they were all dead in a couple of weeks, also had a packet of lupin seeds, only 3 came up but died off within a month, they said they would be despatched in July but came in June and I wasn't expecting them, took me another 5 days to get them from royal mail, as their click to redelivery didn't work, westcountry nurseries don't answer the telephone, they say on a letter you get with the plants for any chance of a refund you have to send pictures, well they know they sent me 3 bits cut off and shoved in pots, avoid westcountry nurseries

Ordered Clematis on Saturday and they arrived on Tuesday. Plants are very healthy and in great condition. Excellent customer service and advice given.

The best lupins. I Recieved my plug plants and they were in brilliant condition. I potted these on and then planted them in may and they flowered in their first year.
