*Update below* My recent - definitely terrible - personal experience with Welocate: I chose their Standard Package in order to take the administrational burden of buying a home abroad off my shoulders. Now, when I am the end of the purchase procedure, I am totally disappointed. According to the essence of the service of Welocate, they connect you with different providers (real estate agent, notary, etc.) and cover the costs of these providers directly. So you don't need to search for these providers and worry about their fees. According to the conditions of Welocate, they cover the majority of the notarial costs, including the fee of the deeds and the cadastral fees. In spite of that, when I received the bill from the notary and I did a check by adding the mentioned notarial costs and the fee of Welocate (it was also included in the notarial invoice) together, the total was much higher then the price of the Welocate package (with a difference of EUR 600+). They charged me such fees separately that should be included in the package, not only according to my interpretation, but the inclusion of these fees is explicitly mentioned in their own Terms and Conditions. When I enquired about this via multiple emails, they simply did not answer my question, sent a copy-paste answer, mentioning that SOME fees of the notary are not covered in their package. Which is true, but those fees that they (double) charged, should be definitely included.
After multiple phone calls, they mentioned that they would come up with a "proposal" (probably finally they understand that they act against their own Terms), but I still have not received it (I have one working day left before the payment deadline for the notary). This is exactly what you want to avoid in the hassle of buying a property.
**UPDATE: they admitted their unjustified fee in an email and promised that they would return it to me. BUT... afterwards a manager called me on the phone and set the condition, that they would make the refund (which was admitted by themselves) only if I change this review in advance (or give a written promise that I would change it). And all this in a threatening tone. I do not need to comment this, I think. With this call they fully ruined the rest of their trustworthiness. When I mentioned, that I had enough of the threatening tone and I would record the rest of the conversation, they immediately interrupted the call. (UPDATE 2: a few days later the extra fee was transferred me back. I believe that I could get it back only because I was able to recognise the difference and to persistently contest it. Therefore my general opinion about Welocate did not change and I keep the one-star rating).**
I would not recommend Welocate. I asked for their service to save time and avoid extra costs, but it turned out that I had to spend extra time arguing with Welocate themselves and that they were the ones who wanted to charge extra, unjustified costs.
As a side remark, I had also bad experience with the real estate agent that they mediated to me: the agent suggested that I should sign an obviusly faulty purchase agreement. After being persistent, he had admitted it and the agreement was corrected. Following that, one manager of Welocate called me on the phone, apologised and mentioned that later I will get some compensation (which I did not ask for). You can see in the continuation of the story, what kind of "compensation" I finally got.

Welocate provides a one-stop-shop to those who want to buy a house in the Netherlands.
They offer an all-inclusive package for the potential buyers which includes the unlimited sevices of a real estate agent, a technical inspection and an appraisal, among others.
Overall they were quite helpful, especially for expats like us and we were quite pleased with the service they provided. We definitely do not regret using welocate for buying our house.

They made my experience with apartment purchase super simple by finding and arranging all the nessesary people.

I had to interact with the notary and the appraiser once over the entire house transfer period to send some confidential documents that were not available to Welocate.

Other than that all the communication was happening between the bank, Welocate and other parties.

This really gave me some extra time needed to arrange everything for my move.

Agents, of course, have to be paid for there service, but it is reasonable to expect a fee matching the amount (a single meeting) and quality(inferior) of services rendered
