Button-down shirt sizes are very undersized and not sized consistently (BTW - I'm tired of the "we don't vanity size" BS - my tailor agrees). Couple the poor sizing with very long wait times and "ret... Leggi di più

A few things. I do like the products I purchased. Numerous knitwear and their 1969 jeans. Gustin was also extremely responsive when they accidentally sent me the wrong batch of shirts. They made it... Leggi di più

Would give zero stars if I could. Absolute trash and terrible customer service in my opinion.

Bizarre company. Their sizing is completely off, so you initially have to initiate an exchange to attempt to correct... then you've got to chain stitch locally to your preferred length... and then you discover that everything you ordered is poorly made and blows out in the c-rotch within 2 months. This isn't unique to Gustin, but at the same time, doesn't justify the price. One and done here.

These jeans are crap. Paid $200 waited 5 months and they fell apart after I washed them once. Called customer service and they hid behind their keyboards. Said the broken stitching and broken belt loops add character. Posted a video of their product on the FB page and they blocked me. Don't do business with these people. They don't have the capital to produce these jeans on their own and rely on crowdfunding only to rip you off after they eventually deliver their product.

Buyer beware. I ordered 2 pairs of pants, and the size was too small by about 3 sizes, color was not what was on the website, and quality was poor; and they refused my return. Do not buy anything from them.

Quality is not bad but sizes are inconsistent. They claim not to offer “vanity sizes” but same size has different measurements depending on the batch. It’s impossible to guess if garments will fit properly. In addition, they don’t offer exchanges due to fit issues, which makes me think they are aware of those issues

I really wanted to like this company as their clothes looked great! Unfortunately, their sizes are all over the place. I finally got my pants after 2+ months but they were too tight. I emailed them and got one response several days later. I am trying to exchange the pants but haven't received a response in days. Once this is settled, I will never order again.

The customer service is incredible slow and they don’t refund you. They only give store credit. I will never buy from them again and am not even sure I will use the store credit. Incredible hassle

Products looked nothing like online. Cheap and painted instead of woven fabric. Like they took a five dollar shirt and threw some paint on it. I loved the principles they promised of artistic and independent manufacturing but it is really worse than temu

Gustin wool field jacket: I’m slim but this is a tight fit. The wool is not impressive quality for $290. It itches when touching your neck. I cannot recommend this brand

Received a pair of Gustin jeans after at least three or four months and I put them into the wash and dryer before they were hemmed so that the hem would be correct when I tried to put the jeans on. They were 3 to 4 sizes too small and that wasn't from washing and then I read that they recommend you size up two sizes and I'm thinking on what planet do they do stuff like this and of course there's no return policy so I'm stuck with these jeans that are three sizes. Too small bad place bad company don't deal with them. They don't know how to do jeans

Long ship times, and slow/poor customer service ruined it. The fit/cuts are also odd in my opinion but I'm not a fashion expert. The material is fabulous, which is the only redeeming quality.
Used a valid Black Friday promo on a single cart, lost it due to their checkout behavior, then got blamed for “taking advantage” of their policy and paid multiple shipping charges plus my own return label. Their “exchanges” are just new full-price orders with no promo and customer-paid returns. Tech issues + rigid policies + defensive customer service = I won’t be back.
I bought a pair of cone denim jeans, which cost more than the usual Dearborn Denim I buy but I thought Id see what the selvage fuss was all about. Loved them as soon as I got them and ordered another pair. I loved them right until the 10th wear or so when the denim just gave out in an important area. Hadn't even washed them yet because I wore them sparingly and doing anything more active than walking to the office. Really, really disappointed. Customer service offered basically a 10% credit on a future purchase. For a business like this, I really expected them to stand behind their product better.
Do not purchase. The company sizing is off. Even after purchasing a pair that I returned for too small I was told to
go up from a 37 to a 40. 37 was way too small. 40 was HUGE ON ME. Most 37 fit fine. Some 38 if they recommend going up. They have no clue. I think their quality in cutting is off. Way off. Their customer service is awful. The people responding are rude and take zero accountability. The times are estimates but they deliver no where close to estimates. Most people miss the season they pre purchased for. They blocked me for bad review and held my pending orders indefinitely. 2 month delay. Quality is ok for most part but a few button holes and stitching have come undone. So tailoring is required at an early stage. I would avoid it for the cost and time.
If you want to bust out of a button down shirt, Gustin is for you!
Got the electric homespun shirt in Ocean, which is a beautiful fabric. However, in wearing the shirt, the buttons are too small for the buttonholes, so I was popping out of my shirt all the time. Additionally, the sleeve openings at the cuff are off and flare out when the cuffs are buttoned. Just a weird and disappointing shirt for the price. Get Freenote, Indogofera or Ginew. Much better tailoring and fit.
I took the leap last year and ordered three articles of clothing from them: two shirts and a pair of selvedge jeans. It’s quite possibly the worst apparel purchasing decision I have made in a long time.
Flannel shirt material is nice, and the fit is okay. However, they manufactured the shirt with buttons which are so small they do not hold in the button holes. Customer service did eventually send new buttons, which I had to take to a tailor to replace. They basically laughed off the entire incident.
The denim shirt is so stiff, it feels like a straightjacket.
I sized the jeans up as recommended, but it is still torture to get them on and they are very constricting. It’s a shame, since the fabric is unique.
Not to mention their care/laundering instructions are absurdly restrictive.
If you want interesting, unusual fabrics which fit poorly and are overpriced, then Gustin is for you.
Stay far away. Their clothes fit very very weird. I've ordered their shirts and their jeans and both are made for an extremely thin person. For jeans, if you aren't rail thin, you'll need to size up multiple sizes, giving you a massive waist size. For shirts, you'll need to size up at least one size and then arms and torso are going to be WAY too long.
And despite having an in stock store section, they don't allow refunds and only store credit. So, if like me, nothing of theirs fits you, your only option is to sell second hand. Which case you'll lose 2/3 of your money. Spent $400 on their clothes and got $150 back selling second hand.
I will never do business with this company again.
I decided to take the chance to purchase from Gustin, as a small business owner I want to help the "microbrands." What I discovered from Gustin was nothing short of utter disappointment. I ordered 3 pairs of paints, a linen, denim and khaki (don't remember their specific names). All made for people with giraffe legs. The quality was abhorrently low, hems with overlap, material so thin, buttons sewn skewed. I realize, that Gustin and so many micro brands are spending so much on social media and customer acquisition that they have lost the focus on their product. Let's create amazing products and allow genuine consumers to sing your praises and not spend on fake "enfluencers" and social media...end rant
So far off. Nothing fits. Long wait. Just go anywhere else.
