I worked with Lisa and she supported us in all the prpcesss. The replies are super fast and she is always on top of things, before us asking. She understood our situation very well and made execution accordingly. She guided us in each and every aspect of the process, like when should we bid, if should we bid, what should we bid etc. It was a great experience to have her support during the buying experience.

I heard Walter Living from someone who I know and I was generally happy about that.

Walter Living is data based company for the customers to buy house with reasonable price. Their platforms are powerful and you can find real housing prices throughout the Netherlands, so you can draw your own realistic picture for your future home.

Their staff for negotiations were great in general. And they are really open to hear your thoughts so you can trust their expertise and they even provide the help with arranging technical inspection and appraisals.

And I got huge support after everything is done. I had a problem with seller side and even though it was not that successful, but the makelaar was with me and she stood by me for all the issues I wanted to raise.

One thing that could be better for this company is about the final inspection and notary part. I know there is a mortgage arranging part and after completing them, I felt a bit lonely and I needed more support.

Maybe there the lower price than other makelaar came through, but anyway, I was generally happy with Walter Living and if I have to go back to the housing market, I might be with them once again.

While I appreciate the amount of information Walter Living provides for helping to buy a house, I do find the values of properties and their recommended offers are quite high due to basing numbers off of previous years data. Those types of increases are unsustainable but the calculations don't seem to take that into account. If everything kept increasing by 8-15% year after year, then single room apartments in Amsterdam will cost well over a million euro in a few years which is just not sustainable.

Ik ontdekte Walter helaas wat aan de late kant, maar het heeft me ontzettend geholpen om een goed beeld te krijgen van wat ik kon bieden op een woning. Zonder makelaar en met veel zelfonderzoek ondersteund door de inzichten van de app heb ik uiteindelijk een mooie prijs kunnen onderhandelen.

Ik heb misschien iets te veel geboden, maar dankzij de waardebepaling, vergelijkingen en handige functies in de app voelde ik me goed voorbereid. Walter heeft ons echt geholpen grip te krijgen op de markt.

Last second before making a bid I decided to get a consultation just to get a second opinion in addition to my agent's estimate.

During it, Emmely carefully explained all the thought process, walked me through the platform, answered all my basic questions and literally taught me how to do it all myself.
As a result, I lowered my estimate by 25K (~3%) and it was still a wining bid!

But even if I didn't win, it was a crazy good value for money, I felt much more confident and informed when making an offer and my understanding of the market significantly increased.
