Payment didn't go through, extra costs
Payment didn't go through. When I finally managed to get through to the company that books the holidays, to complete payment, it cost extra because Vrbo didn't include the dog - even though I included her in the booking. Cottages.com told me this is a regular problem with Vrbo. Also, had to go via 3 different companies to actually find who the property was being rented through. Clunky, clumsy system and about as transparent as a cup of ditch water! AI Overlords on the phone also made the process beyond frustrating, it can't tell what you are saying and sends you round in circles.

On booking it said you will not be charged yet
I was expecting to and willing to pay a deposit but it took the full amount of £1350 which I wasn't expecting as we're not going until 31st July 2027 9 Months away!! And usually pay a deposit with the balance due 3months before

Day of check in and I’ve not had any communication from my host all calls go straight to voicemail and the first number I was given for the host is no longer in service, no response to emails

Great app to use and I feel the booking…
