The installation person are demanding an extra payment. They claim that a charge of ₹1,000 is required for an outdoor stand—even though we do not need a stand, as we intend to place the unit on the roof (there is no space on the roof to hang it). Furthermore, the AC installation technician has not even arrived yet. We are willing to pay ₹1,415; please advise on how we should proceed.

Very poor service. Unfortunately, I can not rate less than one star. I move around places due to my nature of service. In spite of buying AMC for my AC, no one helped or attended to my complaints at Chennai. Same here at Golabandha, Berhampur, Odisha. The service centres do not provide or attend to any old product of Voltas. Unfortunately. Negative experience. Appeal all not to buy Voltas products.

I logged a complaint on 2nd April for compressor replacement , and its 22nd May 2026 , Voltas is behaving like small stupid kid who is not willing to live upto their promise.

I reside in Vadodara, Gujarat. On 12/05/2026, I registered AC complaint number 26051211496. A technician, Mr. Nilesh (Mobile: 9727239118), visited my home the same day. After inspecting the unit, he stated that low fan speed was causing the cooling issue. He advised that either the PCB or the fan motor needed replacement, quoting ₹9,000 and ₹3,000 respectively. I decided to hold off on the repair. He collected ₹590 as a service charge and left.The following day, I called a local technician for a second opinion. He diagnosed the exact same low fan speed but simply replaced the capacitor. The fan immediately regained its normal speed, and the AC is now cooling perfectly. The technician gave a highly inflated estimate for unnecessary parts, indicating either a total lack of technical competence or an intent to cheat.I emailed customer care team with these details on 15/05/2026. Despite multiple follow-ups, I have received no response. This level of service is completely unacceptable and fraudulent. I demand an immediate refund of my ₹590 service charge but so far there is no action from their end.

Very poor AC service experience. Customer care numbers are not supporting properly, and service center staff are not picking up calls or giving incorrect information. Even after registering a complaint, no technician visited for 3–4 days. Extremely disappointing and worst after-sales service.

Your Online sales, service, delivery total operation is terrible.
I ordered Serial.No.of Invoice : I26361007002 the item on 01st May 2026. Item came very late on 11th May 2026. On top of that incomplete delivery items missing. Technicians came from Voltas to fix but left due to missing parts. How the quality check working?. We will never do this mistake again Trusting Voltas and ordering directly from Voltas. My family is on vacation in Kochi for a 1 month and there is No Ac available total vacation ruined. Now we need to stay in the Hotel. 
And we don't understand what your customer support team says. They don't even figure out the order number.

I am writing this with great dissatisfaction regarding the recently purchased Voltas AC from your Bismi Kalamassery Branch.

As informed by the Bismi sales team, the AC installation was supposed to be free of cost. The Voltas installation team visited my residence on 11 May 2026 and completed the installation. During the installation, they collected an amount of INR 1,480/- towards the AC stand, additional wiring, taping, etc., without providing any proper invoice or receipt.

After completing the installation and leaving the premises, the installation team contacted me over the phone and informed me that I must additionally pay an installation charge of INR 1,500/-, stating that the installation was not free.

I am highly disappointed with this kind of miscommunication and misleading information provided by both the Bismi and Voltas teams after the purchase and installation were completed.

This is my second time purchasing a Voltas AC from Bismi Kalamassery Branch, and unfortunately, this has become a very bad experience from both teams.

​Absolutely pathetic service from the Jaipur Service Center. I bought a product with a 3-year warranty, and it stopped working within 1 year. Now, the manager is making fake promises, providing NO ETA, and had the nerve to claim the warranty is "expired."

Worst air conditioner I have ever seen in my life
I have never seen this worst level of after sales services. They are just ruining the brand image of TATA .

Very bad experience in this year. We brought a 1 ton ac in calicut Nikshan Showroom in April 2026. After installation due to gas leackage we forced to return it because of the services they provided for us... The showroom didn't take a transparent communication with the customer also from the side of Voltas . After we decide for refund they said it will take 2 weeks. its nearly 2 weeks,but still our issues is not resolved. From the side of showroom and also from the side of voltas no one called us instead we need to call them for the updation. We are available whenever they want us to remove the ac, but no one came for uninstallation. When we r out of the town now they says that after uninstallation only we will get the refund back.. very bad services.. when I called voltas service center for complaints they said they can't give any contact nmbr of superiors, if we want check google and file a complaints.. while asking they don't know company mail ID also.. How can an employee didn't know their company mail ID.. ridiculous... Is this the people trained for a responsibile company.. Shame on you guys..
Now it's may 2026... weather also changed we don't need the ac anymore...

I’m a customer from Tamil Nadu and I genuinely like my Voltas AC. It cools well and I was happy with my purchase. Will share the review of a
Performance after a year again.

But I had a very painful experience with customer care. When I called for service, I requested a Tamil-speaking executive. I was told none were available. The Hindi-speaking telecaller’s English was very difficult to understand, and I couldn’t explain my problem properly. As a Tamil customer in Tamil Nadu, I felt helpless and unheard. I write this with a lot of respect for Voltas as a brand. You’ve been in Indian homes for decades. That’s why this hurt more. I’m sure many Tamil families buy Voltas with trust. Please consider training/hiring Tamil-speaking support for Tamil Nadu. It would mean so much to customers. We want to continue choosing Voltas, but language support is essential.
Your product gave me cool air. I hope your service can give me warmth too.

Very poor after-sales service from Voltas. I purchased a 3-year AMC on 14 April 2025 trusting the brand and was clearly told that servicing would be free of cost. Last year, servicing was indeed done without any charges.

This time, after raising a service request on 24 April 2026 and doing multiple follow-ups, the technician finally visited and then demanded ₹590 for Jet Pump cleaning for my window AC, claiming that the rules have changed. This is completely unacceptable.

You cannot change AMC terms midway after selling the plan. This feels like clear mis-selling and lack of transparency. Customers are promised free servicing while purchasing AMC, and later extra charges are introduced.

On top of that, the service experience has been frustrating—calls not being picked up, no proper updates, and long delays.

Highly disappointed with Voltas. Based on this experience, I would not recommend buying their AMC or even their products unless they seriously improve their customer service and honor their commitments.

Except service remaining is well but worst service i was never seen,
Around 1 month purchase outdoor is extreme electric shock,monkey is unconscious, when i was shut down all the power supply it's alive,but service center said yes engineering is came just turn off the ac. Around 1 month in summer i purchase for it now no use,so i decided to check local mechanic for temporary use, interesting thing is service engineer is comming 😅and said just 2 hr or 3hr
In my area, seller said buy any ac but worst service is voltas i was ignore 😑

Bought a split inverter 1 tn ac on 07/10/2021 on 28/04/2026 it stopped cooling so I registered a complaint with ref no 26042865906 till date 02/05/26 no proper technician visit has been done for a formality on 30/04/2026 a technician was sent who was unable to check the issues late evening near 5.30 pm no proper technician has been assigned after that so its now 5 days there is just an excuse that we have escalated the matter to the team mentioning that company has a policy of providing service between 48 to 96 hours which has already been completed but till date no visit has been arranged, this type of pathetic service was not expected from Voltas as a consumer we buy good brands just because of good & prompt service but now after this scenario I would never buy any Voltas product in future or would not recommend any one to buy Voltas products .

Very very bad service. I purchased a new AC, but no one has come for the installation. They said they would come on the 30th, but now it’s the 2nd and still no one has arrived.

Bought a split AC but it has not been installed even after six days despite repeated reminders. Company people are not even picking up my phone.

મારા બધા ભાઈ બેન ને મારી નમ્ર વિનંતી છે. તમે તમારા મેહનત ના પૈસા થી કોઈ બી પ્રોડક્ટ આ વિનોદ ભાઇ ને ત્યાં થી કોઈ બી વસ્તુ લેતા નહીં. મારા ઘરે 1 વર્ષ ની દીકરી છે અમે છેલ્લા 1.5 મહિના થી અમને ફરિયાદ કરીએ છીએ કે અમારૂ ac ખરાબ છે Voltas નું. કંપની કોઈ બી જવાબ આપતી નથી. વિનોદ ભાઇ માણસ મોકલે છે તે હર ટાઈમ 600 rs લઈ જાય છે હજી હું અમને કોલ કરું છું શું થયું તો અમને કોઈ બી સંતોષ કરક જવાબ નથી મળતો. જો 1.5 મહિના સુધી તમે સર્વીસ ના આપો તો તમારે આહ શોપ બંધ કરી દેવી જોઈએ બધા ને એક જ વસ્તુ કેવી છે મારે કે તમે અહીંયા થી કોઈ બી વસ્તુ ના લો અને Voltas ની તો ના જ લો તમારા પૈસા ડૂબી જશે
