I'm kind of shocked reading the experiences many have had with Vivid. My experience was exceptionally good. I had them track down a new OEM window motor and regulator for my 1986 Mercedes 560 SEL. I literally looked everywhere for those, and these were the only guys who had them. They verified that they could put hands on them before I submitted my order. I had to have them fairly quickly before I took the car to the Pittsburgh Grand Prix show - and obviously needed to be able to raise/lower the driver's window. My order was placed on July 2nd, sent FedEx Saver the same day, and arrived Monday July 7th. Parts were correct and fit/work great. Saved the show for me. Hopefully this was a sign that they've corrected their past difficulties. I couldn't be happier with them than I already am. YMMV.

First off, all products did arrive as ordered. The website is "good enough" to get items found and ordering processed from a buyer perspective. The follow-up from customer service when I inquired about an item that was late/missing was okay-ish. This earned the 3 stars. From a very experienced customer support and parts manager, here are where things can be improved. The website needs to allow a customer to look up their order and know exactly where it is in processing to delivery. It appears you are a drop ship company by the way things arrived and who they were shipped from...that's fine, but order processing should be linked back to your ordering and fulfillment software so it doesn't feel messy on the consumer side...because it seems like a trainwreck. Follow-up to inquiries need to be owned and researched by the service rep and it shouldn't take extensive hours or days to respond or resolve issues. Properly trained, a service rep should be able to handle an inquiry in either minutes or at the most a couple of hours if calls have to be made to suppliers. A simple order processing email could be as simple as 'order received', 'work in process', processing shipment' and 'part shipped' with tracking info. If an ETA is presented from a supplier, this should be provided to the costumer as well...then a vivid representative should track those orders and start following up if results are not meeting customer expectations. In today's online solutions, there should be an expectation that the day the order is placed the clock starts, and by the time everything has shipped should be no more than 2 business days. Drop ship isn't that difficult if your ERP solution is good

Ordered rear QA1 coilovers from this lame company.
Called before ordering to make sure it was in stock and the sales lady said yup and even "made sure" they were in stock supposedly so I placed the order.
8 or 9 days pass and no confirmation email.. figure i would get one by now with the item being in stock.... how long can it take to ship a package?
Called repeatedly to be told my sales rep is "on lunch" every single time no matter what time of day it was ,he was always on lunch lol.
After call number 5 or 6 over the course of the next few days I finally get her on the phone and says the coilover go back to QA1 for "tuneing" wtf are you talking about? Lolol
Magically the next day I get a shipping update with a random tracking number to click on that goes no where... no courier name or any info just a random number that does nothing.
Will I even get what I paid for? Did this fraud company just take my money? Who knows but I do know I will never recommend them to anyone... in fact I will spread the word how unsatisfactory it was to deal with them.

After numerous chats, emails and phone calls they could not tell me the status of my two orders. I even confirmed they had the first order in stock and they did not. Ended up canceling the first order after a few weeks and second order after a couple months. Worst online ordering experience ever.

Vivid is a terrible company do not buy anything from them. They just drop ship. If you have any issues with your product they will deny deny deny. There customer reps are there to make sure that they will deny all returns. Basically you’re better off buying from a random person on eBay or CL. Stay away from vivid

To be honest I read the reviews on here and was very apprensive to order from Vivid Racing. I am not even in the USA I am based in the UK.
However I enquired about a Brilliant Exhaust System and was quoted a very good price cheaper than the manufacturer themselves.
Was speaking to Austin via email and everything went very smoothly. Exhaust was delivered in time within a couple of weeks as promised and no issues whatsoever.
Don't be afriad of the reviews they are great to deal with!

I had a terrible experience with this company. Customer service is practically non-existent — I had to make more than 20 phone calls and send multiple emails before I even got basic updates.
I ordered an expensive hood for my C7, and it took forever to arrive. The company couldn’t track it or tell me when I would receive it. Finally, on the day the part was going to be shipped back by the carrier, they called me and gave me only three hours to clear it at the border.
After paying all the duties and shipping, I discovered the hood doesn’t even fit properly. I provided detailed pictures from myself and the installer, but that wasn’t enough. They demanded I show a reinstallation attempt — even though the old hood had already been put back on, the shop is an hour away, and it took them nearly three weeks to respond.
Overall: poor communication, zero accountability, and no support when the product doesn’t fit. I would not recommend them.

Order an exhaust on sale, got quoted 4-5 months shipping with no notice on it. Absolutely ridiculous. Sometimes it sucks to just pay the money the firs time.

Called them when they opened to order a part with overnight shipping, and they confirmed it would ship that day. Part did not ship, so I called to request cancellation, but they claimed the part had shipped. Even opened a case with FedEx to confirm FedEx did not have the shipment in their custody, only "label created". Vivid said they would cancel the order. Several days later, no cancellation, no refund, and no part. Turned it over to the bank after they blocked me from sending emails to their customer service email.
Everything they have said to this point was a lie, shop elsewhere.

I’ve ordered a few times from them. Every time there were issues. Items misrepresented, defective, and said to be in stock but ends up back ordered. This company is just a third party seller. All items are shipped from manufacturers or other companies. They also don’t stand behind their products or service and don’t own mistakes. It’s a gamble ordering from them every time.

Terrible customer service!! I placed an order, the charge posted on my credit card, they cancelled my order and did not refund me!! I emailed and called over 10x within the span of a week and keep getting the run around or they hang up my phone call! Avoid this company at all costs!!
Update to Vivid’s reply: I have an email from your customer service stating they finally found the charge and reversed it. Avoid at all costs!

Horrible shipping no real updates for your order. You wait a week there is no status change to your order so you call and call to be told they do not have an update then you finally cancel the order and magically the item has shipped. They are trying to be a drop ship company and do not have the integrations with their drop ship partners to give you real status updates on the parts you ordered.
Not worth dealing with this reseller/drop shipper. I rather deal with someone like JEGs ordered the same suspension kit and it was on a carrier truck the next day with a valid tracking number.

I placed an order and called and canceled it on the 18th of June 2025. I was assured it was canceled. They sent the part anyway. I called back on June 23-2025 and was informed it was not canceled because it was already shipped but I was not notified. The second person I talked to barely spoke English and was not very knowledgeable. This is terrible customer service.

I ordered a grill.for.my jeep that said was in-stock. After a week of it not showing up i had to email and ask what was going on, I was informed it was out of stock and I would b issues a return..now 20 days later I have no return in my account and they are still offering that grill as in stock online...SCAMMERS STAY AWAY...

Like most companies the sales department is fast and efficient. The minute you need service it’s apparent that they only care about one thing.
They turned off google reviews to protect their rating since I imagine they’ve got nothing but terrible reviews.
Avoid them at all costs.
