Buyer beware sold me a defective phone through Walmart, never responded, Walmart same thing, VIP is owned by Walmart, bbb complaint filed

I bought an New Open Box Generator off Walmart.com, that turned out to be actually from VIP Outlet, for $522. The next day the purchase was cancelled. The explanation given was they had oversold them however the exact generator was still for sale on VIP Outlet.com for $586. They either had them or they didn't so I bought another thinking to dispute the price if it arrived. It did arrive about ten days later, the box was badly damaged, damage to the gas tank, bad battery and no extension cord. The shipping lable said Shipped by Walmart so I began conversations with Walmart and VIP Outlet and each promised to resolve the issue and call within 48 hrs, never happened. Generac the MF were fantastic and would replace the gas tank and battery however the service department was 40 minute drive from me. I offered to keep it for a $200 partial refund to cover the trips to have it repaired and the difference in the prices charged. They offered $100 which I declined. Having been advised to request a return lable I did so and VIP Outlet dragged the process out for twenty days obviously so my 30 day return window ran out and then I would be responsible for shipping. Their policy stated if a return was received after 30 days in running condition it would be returned to the customer and shipping both ways the customers responsibility. The Generator was damaged but should've run just fine. Overall VIP Outlet used Walmart to advertise and ship but their own Customer Service is nothing more than nice words and promises, just doesn't exist. Customer beware

I've purchased many 'open box-new' items over the last 12 or so years from VIP. Never a problem. Recently I've had 5 different orders, only one was actually 'new' unused, two were used but apparently only long enough to mark them a little. One was beaten and abused so badly, with 'bad' noted on the battery. A mower I bought was still covered with grass under it from use. Overall, if you get something from VIP it's a bit of a crap shoot. Sometimes you win, most of the time you get aggravated at having to return it.
Update: Vipoutlet sent me 2 more orders, total waste, neither worked, sold as 'Brand new' and 'new open box'. Both were clearly used defective returns, one had a battery that flashed an error code showing it was defective and shut down to (hopefully) avoid catching fire. VIP lies about the products and I believe they must have enough people to just throw them away that they don't care. They've lost more money by my returning the defective trash products they send than they've made from the few that were acceptable.

this company sold me a locked phone thru walmart and initially said the phone had a 1 year warrant, then 90 day warranty. admitted to not scanning the phone to unlock it before shipping to customer and refuses to stand behind or up to their mistake

I love shopping at VIP Outlet. Great deals and they are incredibly trustworthy. My first purchase was an open box 13" iPad Air from them through the Walmart site. It arrived as described - open box 100% battery health and in flawless condition. And it was.

I needed to replace my iPhone and they had a brand new iPhone 15 for $445 which was less than the used refurbished condition price on most websites.

Now my Apple watch 6 needs replacing so I went to the VIP Outlet and found a Brand New Series 11 46mm for over 100 less that from Apple carrying the same warranty but a major savings.

I will continue to use VIP Outlet as my go to source before looking anywhere else.

Sold me a speaker listed as new condition and unused.
What I received looked like a cockroach or bedbug infestation risk, it looked like it was pulled out of a dumpster!
It was in such horrible shape I immediately threw it away because of how unsanitary it was!
I should sue them for ripping me off!
There are multiple negative reviews on eBay where they are ripping people off on the same speaker and other products!
VIPOUTLET needs to be sued class action and for millions!

i nbought 58 vacuums and i sold them and made some proffit thanks to vip outlet

This business promised to send an 80 V Greenworks device and sent the cheaper 60 V version which is incompatible. Despite correspondence, they would not confirm if they in fact even ever had the 80 V. I immediately sent it for return once I saw the wrong thing was delivered and 3 days later they are still promising that they will send a return label. They offered no compensation and are holding my money until they receive the return which I cannot send them because they have not sent me the return label and are still saying it’s 24 to 48 hours away from coming. I will update review if further activity changes experience but this is not a business. I will do business with again.

I brought what I thought was just an open box but when it got here the box was beat up.You could look inside the box and see the tv.Once opened i seen it was an used tv that was broken. They sold me an used tv off the walmart site.The used tv was only $30 cheaper than the new tv.It was only suppose to been open box not used.It took 10 days to get here from the estimated delivery date.I ordered may 5th,suppose to got here may 8th got it the 18th.It sat in the same spot for several days,the tracking was very unreliable. The customer service sucks,they give you an automatic tracking answer. You don't really get to talk to anyone,every answer was tracking. I can't believe walmart uses them.

Give them a big fat zero they advertised on walmart a 512gb blue phone s24 ultra I bought it paid 750 for a 512gb got a 256 gb purple phone I don't want a 256gb I want what I paid for how is it ok to rip customers off they probably thought they won't notice well I noticed when my phone said storage full I ordered a 512gb because 256gb is to small for me that's how I noticed I also noticed the color was off and the phone is 8 gb of ram instead of 12gb I don't want that either it's slow very slow I want something done about this I will be contacting walmart again and tell them to investigate those people it's not ok to do this to customers i had a s23 ultra that was 256 gb so when needed bigger storage decided to upgrade to next one didn't know this would happen I trusted walmart website apparently it's the sellers can't trust to many scammers now a days

I ordered two Lego sets. One came missing all of its pieces and instead had a handful of random pieces just thrown in the box. The second one was missing half the pieces including all the figures. Their customer support totally sucked too.

Order was placed on 4-18-26. They claimed they dropped the package off with fedex on 4-22-26. Here it is 5-3-26 and fedex still shows waiting on package from the seller. I sent a message to vipoutlet and was told they would contact fedex and get back to me. They never got back to me and I have sent several messages since then and they don't reply. I would not recommend using the business to buy products. Shady way to do business!

VIPOutlet sent a broken scooter and they refuse to replace or repair it. Missing charger. Shattered controls. Gouged metal. Bag of random parts and pieces. Bent metal.
I don't understand how anyone could send out this junk and say it's in new condition and refuse to stand by multiple warranties. Walmart marketplace is buyer beware. Scooter and parts just thrown in a box with no packaging. Unbelievable and disappointing

Scammers, I was supposed to received my package on Sunday and Sunday evening I got a message that my package was delayed and that they will give me another delivery date. Monday morning, I get a message it was delivered on Sunday at 11:36 am. I was home on Sunday and Monday and my package was never delivered!

This company is not trusted
I order a JBL bluetooth speaker and they swap it with a car spare part that looks like trash without my permission. This is stealing and I warned everyone to stay away from here, its a scammed.
