My roommate and I had a great experience using VeryApt for our house hunt. Hadieh Tazangi, our rental concierge, was quick to get back to us with a list of options that suited our needs. We, unfortunately, could not make a site visit so Hadieh kindly sent us videos of the apartments we had shortlisted and answered our many questions. We managed to gind our apartment and sign our lease in a week. Thank you so much, Hadieh and VeryApt. I would recommend this service to others.

I had a generally fantastic experience! There is one exception for feedback: a miscommunication about reaching out to other agents. We reached out directly to another agent after 2-day radio silence from our VeryApt team. The situation then turned into a time-consuming issue, where we had to get on the phone for over 30 mins, and then personally email the other agent. We are happy to help clear things up-- but this seems like something that VeryApt can work to solve on the back end as opposed to involving their clients in these affairs. That would give an even more effective experience!

Hadieh Tazangi made what has been in the past an awful experience, a painless and enjoyable one. She extremely responsive to all of our texts and emails and incredibly knowledgeable about the market for apartments and condos. Over the course of a few weeks, she compiled a list of places that aligned perfectly with what we wanted. Better yet, she saved the best one for last, fully knowing that it would be our favorite when we didn’t even know. Now we are moving into this dream apartment, and I cannot thank her enough for holding our hands through this process and managing to know our tastes better than we do.

Our conceirge service consultant-Jeffrey was extremely helpful in solving all our doubts. I was impressed with the site's layout ever since I found out about it. They had great metrics of reviewing the apartments they had in their database and I was impressed with the reviews as well. Jeff has been a constant help right from the start, when we had to narrow down our search for the apartment to his visits to the units we selected and sending the pictures across via email. Being an international student, finding the right apartment is tough and the whole apartment hunting process is tedious. But the services provided by Jeff, in terms of answering all our queries were excellent. He maintained a cordial relationship till the end and explained the technical concepts within the lease agreement we were unaware of like the meaning of pro-rated rent, renter's insurance etc. I would recommend people to take advantage of the FREE Concierge Service VeryApt provides as they try their best to clarify all of your queries. I had an incredible experience.

Some suggestions I may have are that, we never got a referral on apartments in Rosslyn. I guess the website doesn't look at apartment in all of the DMV area and is just restricted to DC, in spite of some information of apartments in Rosslyn present of the website. Secondly, I guess according to the goals of the website. You dont necessarily look at anything other than apartments(like those done by trulia, willow, hotpads etc) which is why your website stands out, but I would still suggest if it is possible for you to look at townhouses as well.

I worked with Jeff Gratton and had a wonderful experience. He shared a variety of properties that met my budget and preferences and was especially helpful in touring properties on my behalf when I wasn’t immediately able to view them. Jeff was also very responsive and quickly offered insights and updated property availability in a timely manner.

Finding an apartment in a new city and signing a lease online, from 100 miles away, with serious time constraints, presents plenty of opportunities for complications. I inquired about a condo on VeryApt’s website and was almost immediately contacted by Jeff at VeryApt, who walked me through the whole process, suggested a long list of other buildings to look into, and even offered to visit two of the units I was interested in to take pictures for me. Jeff responded to my emails within a few minutes every time I reached out to him. One of the most surprising and convenient things about my experience was that I didn’t have to sign up for anything and it didn’t cost a dime (the buildings pay to be featured). This is a fantastic service that made my move much, much easier.

Jana was incredibly helpful throughout the process. Not only did she accommodate to our work schedules - but really understood what we were looking for in a place. We were able to see how diligently she worked outside of our apartment visits and tours. All the places she showed fit our descriptions.

It was reassuring to see how well her connections were established in the industry. As a result we were able to visit several places after hours, or very spur-of-the-moment. Which only happened because of her relationships.
