US Household Moving & Storage was a very professional and practical moving company that meticulously packaged all of our belongings and transported them safely to my new home in North Carolina. The drop off happened on time and without any issues occurring tomthe furniture, boxes or fragile glass.

They did an excellent job of managing my things through the transportation process, while also maintaining the same level of communication. This showed their level of dedication to keep our things protected and how much they wanted to keep us satisfied. Thank you again!

The worst experience I have ever had dealing with a "Customer-oriented business. Understated the estimate by $5,000, totally disavowed their participation. Steve B is one the most unethical persons I have had the displeasure of dealing with. Do Not Use This Company.

BEWARE!! Absolute thieves I would not recommend this company at all. We got them to help us move my husband asked four times if we could cancel if we needed to Johne said yes if we called before our payment processed. We called three days after to cancel which there is a federal law you can cancel in three days but also we were told by Johne that we could get our money back. They denied us our money back and said they are keeping the deposit of $1,000.00!!! We didn’t process that payment till two days after our phone call too!! We ended up not moving job related and they think we found someone cheaper even though they are going to match any price. Beware of this con artist company. Johne kept saying whatever to my husband and said they would send us to collections if we didn’t pay up even though the federal law states we didn’t have to pay even signing a contract if we cancel in three days. We are now fighting to get our money back. I would suggest to go with anyone else but this company. Taking $1,000.00 from someone for doing absolutely nothing. Taking a small deposit fee is normal but taking the full amount is thievery.

Just finished up a stateside move with US Household Moving & Storage. We had furniture and boxes in two places. In our home and in a storage facility. The movers were able to masterfully coordinate the transportation of my things from both, my home and the storage facility. The drop off happened 5 days after the pick up. There were no delays or issues with the customer service or communication. Everything was accounted for as well. Thank you again for all of your help.

I've moved every two years for a decade. I've NEVER had a worse experience.

First they give a great rate. Then they bully you into higher rate with threats that they'll leave your stuff once time has passed and you dont have time to hire someone else.

Called me two days before pick up and tripled my costs, knowing I had a deadline and couldn't get another mover on such short notice.

Next day moved up my move by a day. I stayed up all night to make sure things were packed and ready. Then hey didn't show up. I only learned they weren't coming when I called because it was an hour after pickup time. I had waited all day and got a hotel room because everything was packed. So, more $$ out of my pocket.
As of this wasnt enough, I started getting conflicting calls from their subcontractors (I wasnt made aware that they were subcontracting my move) with different pickup times and the subcontractors were very rude and disrespectful to me because I didn't know what US Household had arranged with them.

Finally confirmed pickup date and time for theb4th time and noone showed up. So, half an hour after pickup time, I call and found out that it would be delayed again. So now we have to get another hotel and spend more money plus pay another mo this rent so all in all over $3K more than originally quoted (before anything was even picked up) and another $3K for rent and additional expenses.

As if this isn't enough insult to injury,the agents are rude, unhelpful and liars and will offer nothing to correct the situation. I am reporting to DOT, Bbb and everywhere I can. So unacceptable

Spent about 40 minutes on a quote with Dan G building a quote and figuring out dates. They quoted me $3k for a move, and things had been going well. When I wouldn't commit to signing that day, they transferred me to Duke. That's when things went south.

He assured me his 20+ years in the business working for places like Mayflower meant I was getting the best quote. He gave me another $400 off — I thought I was already getting the best possible price? — and said they'd match any other quote I'd find. I told him I was going to keep shopping around, and there's nothing that would make me commit today, especially before talking with my wife.

Literally the next words: Well I wish you would've told me that before you wasted my time.

Then he hung up on me lol.

So, when someone tries to create urgency, convince you that no one else will be as good to you, and then becomes rude when they can't close at that moment, it's a reflection of trustworthiness and character. They guaranteed two things: I'm 100% going with one of their competitors, and I'm going to leave this review everywhere I can.

Please what ever you do choose a different company they are not movers they are Brokers that will scam you out of your money and hide behind what they say is a legal binding contract they are rude and will do anything to keep your money we got a call from them just to get a quote but they pressured my wife into putting a deposit down we immediately cancelled the next day spoke with Tylor and he absolutely refused to give me my money back when hes the one who spoke with my wife and said he would get our money back to us he claims to have no memory of this and they will rob you please dont choose this company

Very professional moving experience, where this company was able to successfully transition our boxes, furniture, glass and other miscellaneous items with precision and timeliness. I appreciate their willingness to accommodate my needs during this move. I don’t experience moves often, so if things didn’t go as planned, I’d be very flustered. I would recommend this moving service with confidence if you’re planning a long distance move.

Our move was a pleasant experience and US Household Moving & Storage are true professionals, every step of the way. Our sales rep, Chris, made sure all the i's were dotted and explained the pricing clearly. Valuables were carefully packaged and arrived without any damages. I inquired online about a moving estimate. I received a call from this company. I was very specific about what I needed and what I would be moving. I gave a date range, conditions of type of move and asked are you the moving company or a broker. The man I talked to said yes we can deliver on your date, yes we are the movers the truck has our name on it, yes we will honor our estimate and it will not go up. On move day my items were ready and waiting by the door of a storage room I had rented. Movers called saying they were 30 min away. I waited for 2 1/2 hrs before they finally showed. After arriving they said they needed to weigh the truck and would be right back. They unloaded their hand trucks and moving carts leaving me to pay the additional weight for these items. They came back 3 hours later. I waited in 32 degree weather for hours freezing and they would not answer the phone. My items did not show up on the date range agreed to. The company sold my move to another company. The other company refused to honor my estimate or give me any idea when my items would come. I called daily for 21 days and each time lied to by all parties being given different answers. I was told they didn’t know where my belongings were and they would not know until I paid double the estimate and in cash or check no credit card. I was given a drivers number on the 21st day that was a wrong number. On the 22nd day a driver called me telling me his side of the story and that I would get my items in another week if I paid an additional fee for a shuttle truck due to him driving an 18 wheeled vehicle. I explained prior to agreeing to the move an 18 wheeled truck would be prohibited from my neighborhood and was assured that was not an issue and would be included. After calling the company out on all the lies they said well in the fine print it says you are responsible. I will point out I asked specifically regarding each of these items. They also send you to talk to finance and they make you sign and send back on the same call without review. Lesson learned for me. I have contacted an attorney and have begun legal action. Beware and do not use these thieves.

Drew was our move coordinator from South FL to Raleigh N.C. He advised us to book a few weeks early which we did we paid $2090 for our one bedroom to be moved. Customer service did call us a week before our move to confirm our dates. Movers arrived. On the day requested. 2 young men Ronnie and Johnathan they were hard workers and secured our belongings and loaded in a timely manner. Our belongings arrived in Raleigh within the delivery window given. All in All a easy transition From Drew to customer service to Ronnie and Johnathan I would definetly recommend.

Top notch movers that exceeded my expectations. They are based out of fort lauderdale, but do relocations all over the country. Ours was interstate from TX to FL and it went great. They provide an attractive price and follow up carefully with good services.

This was a well orchestrated move provided by this company. Their professionalism showed in their approach towards securing my belongings and by not going back on the original agreement. I am very satisfied with their level of customer service and ability to follow through. None of my valuables were lost, stolen, or broken.

According to my many friends who have hired moving companies, there has always been one thing they didn’t approve of or was changed without their agreeing to it. This didn’t happen during my move, so for that I am satisfied and would recommend US Household Moving & Storage to others!

I hired this company for a move and they did not disappoint. From beginning to end, they were professional towards me and kept me informed throughout the process. I received my belongings the day I was supposed to receive them and without damages or need for replacements. This was a well executed move by US Household Moving & Storage.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This company that is run by Nicholas Loupasakis (2822 SW 13th, Deerfield Beach, FL 33442-5920), is running a fraudulent company. As others have noted, this company will quote you for one price, have you sign a binding contract for that stated price, and then change the price on the day of the move without any prior authorization or executing a new contract. This is both illegal and unethical. After repeatedly trying to resolve these issues, among others, with Nicholas P., Tyler Hanson, and James Long, all "representatives" with the company, I was left with no resolution. Rather, they stole hundreds of dollars. When trying to call to resolve the many issues, this company screened my calls, did not answer, and did not return any calls and e-mails.

This company was incorporated on 08/31/2018 and is too new to even have BBB profile. It appears that once bad reviews start piling up this company may just change its business name.

As others have said, if I could give this company 0 stars--or even negative stars--I would. If you value your time, money, and sanity, PLEASE go elsewhere...anywhere...just not here. Each "employee" here is a criminal. Avoid at all cost.

I hired independence Van Lines for my recent move. They were able to provide a reasonably priced, stable, and professional moving experience. They guaranteed the protection of all my belongings and a delivery time of a few days after the pick up date.

I just received my belongings today, which is around the time the dispatcher from Independence Van Lines told me it would arrive. This company did right by me by ensuring my belongings arrived safely. Thank you so much for all your assistance through this moving process.

Exactly what I was looking for in a long distance moving company that was responsible for the safety of some of my most coveted belongings. Compassion, tenacity, and professionalism. They possessed all the right traits of a superior service provider. They didn’t let me down, even during the tougher phases of the moving process. Honest with good communication. It took us a month to find the perfect movers and we asked so many questions. US Household came through ahead of the pack and we made the right choice. Great price, good turnaround time, and open communication throughout the whole process.
