Cheating

Ordered four dining chairs. Only two arrived. That too damaged and had to be painted. Balance two chairs never arrived, after 2 weeks, they said item is out of stock, and cancelled the order. Then they charged “delivery charges” and deducted from the refund, for an item they did not deliver, and was supposedly out of stock!!

Bed not delivered even after 20 days

Placed an order for he Esmeralda Engineered Wood Single Size Bed With Drawer & Box Storage (Columbian Walnut Finish)By the brand Gudsmith. I paid the amount quoted in full. The delivery date promised was 3-4 days. This got extended multiple times, with no prior warning or communication, until 20 days later, I still had no bed. During this time, I had to chase their customer care multiple times through multiple channels. Their phones don’t work at all. Their chat bot ultimately led me to the only helpful human in their team, who initially promised delivery multiple times and even shared a tracking code. To her credit, after 2 weeks of placing the order, she followed up proactively. At this time, I demanded a refund. Best part, the customer cannot cancel the order once shipped! I told her this was ridiculous and she asked for more time to figure this out. Ultimately, after 20 days, she too gave up and issued a refund. What a joke website. I will never purchase anything from them again. Thanks to them, I’ve been sleeping on the floor for over a month now, waiting for my money so that I can buy my bed from somewhere else.

Our experience with Urban Ladder has been WORST AND BAD

Our experience with Urban Ladder has been extremely disappointing.

The product delivery was delayed by over a month, and there was absolutely no response from the customer care team despite repeated follow-ups. Even the local store staff were unhelpful and showed no accountability.

For installation, we had to continuously chase them, which made the entire process frustrating and stressful. On top of that, the product quality is very poor and does not meet expectations.

Overall, this reflects a highly unprofessional approach. I strongly advise others to think twice before purchasing from Urban Ladder.

Pathetic after sales service.

Pathetic after sales service.
I ordered a bed , was delivered a defective bed in two days.
Told the assembler Vasudev not to assemble but forced to get the assembling done.
He said Munna polish guy would visit. He came but again forwarded the complaint to Sonu, the team head or product delivery head.
He assured that it would be replaced.
But after 20 days also nothing has been done.
All three are not picking my calls.
Very rude behaviour of Munna
Suggest not to buy anything from urban ladder.

Really Bad service

Really Bad service, The Sofacumbed came without plastic cover and got muddy and torn. The salesman is very irresponsive. Not happy with their service. Never again I will buy from them. Should have read the bad reviews before buying.

The cancellation policy is absolute…

The cancellation policy is absolute bullshit. We wanted to cancel our order just 3 days after we confirmed it we sent a dozen emails and contacted the support team multiple times in the end they delayed the products until they were dispatched making them ineligible for cancellation.

Urban Ladder Product quality poor

Urban Ladder — Extremely disappointed with the quality and after-sales support.
We purchased a queen size Sheesham bed (~₹60,000) from Urban Ladder for our guest room. It was sparingly used, yet within a few years the bed has developed major cracks and structural weakness — something completely unacceptable for a premium solid-wood product at this price point.
What’s more concerning is the service experience:
• Your repair team inspected it and confirmed the cracks were due to weak internal support/poor construction, not misuse
• We even agreed to paid repair, yet no resolution was provided
• Multiple follow-ups with customer care went nowhere
• Repeated visits to the HSR Layout store resulted only in “we’ll call you back” — but no calls
• Finally, we were told to get it repaired outside, which is shocking for a brand that markets itself as premium furniture
Customers don’t spend ₹60,000 on a bed expecting it to fail in 3–5 years with almost no usage.
This is not just a product quality issue — it’s a complete lack of accountability and after-sales support.

Sharing this here so other customers are aware, and is cautious before buying any product !

No warranty on Electrical components for Sofa recliner

I have purchased recliner sofa from little nap with 1 year Electronic components & moter but same recliner sofa urban ladder offer with huge price without any Brand warranty on Electric component & moter
And this is not only they not ecen providing single recliner product warrenty on moter parts

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Urban Ladder – Zero Accountability

I had a terrible experience with Urban Ladder, HSR. after purchasing a shoe rack and a bookshelf. First of all, the delivery itself took 10 days. On top of that, both products required self-assembly, which is fine in theory, but in reality it was a complete mess.

They did not provide enough hardware, many parts were mismatched. For the shoe rack, some boards were damaged and the glue provided does not stick properly at all. The screw markings were inaccurate, making it impossible to assemble correctly without force and guesswork. This clearly shows poor quality control and zero attention to detail.

The worst part is not even the product quality – it is the service. I personally visited the Urban Ladder store to get help. Instead of taking ownership, initially they pushed to the “vendor” and taken videos, user manuals, and part details. For the second product, they asked for the same documentation. Even after sharing everything, there has been absolutely no resolution.

First, they said the vendor team will check. Then it was escalated to the manager. After that, it went to the “internal team.” The only thing that kept changing was the excuse and the team name. No one ever actually tried to solve the problem. No replacement, no proper technician support, no accountability.

What makes this even more frustrating is that the salesperson had confidently promised at the time of purchase that any issues after delivery would be fully taken care of. I even have the conversation as proof. But once the money was paid and the product was delivered, all those promises vanished. No one followed through.

My strong advice: Do not buy from Urban Ladder, HSR. Do not trust their promises. Do not expect support after delivery. You will only get delays, excuses, and frustration. Save your time, money, and peace of mind by staying away from this store.

Bought a sofa

Bought a sofa, looks okay, but has a third leg in between for support. Also the frame appears to be very weak and with kids playing at home, I don't think the sofa will last long. Not happy, nor can recommend urbanladder to anyone.

Horrible experience. Last minute cancellation "quality" problems. Ordered 3 pieces of furniture. Waited for 2-3 weeks only for 2 of them to be discontinued

Can't begin to explain how pathetic the experience had been with Urban Ladder. I had ordered a sofa last year with a warranty of 3 years. Now when I asked for services they refused stating that its damaged cause of us. The sofa is under normal use and its still damaged. They are not bothered about the quality

Not so good product experience with Henreita sofa

I was delivered the Henreita 3 seater sofa yesterday

Is it so defective, answer is probably NO

but what's the experience ; not nice at all

we visited local experience (HYD kondapur) center to get a feel , the staff showed us 'Amora' and told the seating experience and foam/upholestry will be of a similar nature and it's then we ordered online 'Henreita'

Unfortunately
the seating is very firm ; you get the feeling of sitting on a cotton mattress
the sofa doesn't appear to be sturdy ; you want to sit gingerly on the sofa; ideally u want to be far more relaxed and not so cautious about what's going to happen
see the video, and you'd notice it's wobbles a bit giving you that jittery feeling

This cannot be resolved over phone but hopefully they send a technician / experience guy and help us understand if the product is intended to be like that; in which case i'd advise dont buy without experience and just going by the brand /their claims
