Extremely disappointing service – ruined a Christmas gift

I have been a loyal CETTIRE customer for several years and have spent a significant amount with the company, which makes this experience particularly disappointing.

This order was a Christmas gift for my husband, and I made that very clear to CETTIRE from the beginning. I placed the order well within their stated standard delivery timeframe, trusting their usual service as I have done since 2020. Unfortunately, CETTIRE showed no consideration at all for the importance or time sensitivity of this order. Their only response was repeatedly stating that they “do not guarantee delivery dates,” without offering any real help or solution.

Once the parcel was handed to their courier, everything went wrong. There were no proper tracking updates, no delivery date, and no time slot provided. We spent days contacting the courier through an automated system, repeatedly explaining the situation from the beginning, yet nothing changed. CETTIRE did not step in to assist and simply redirected us back to the same ineffective tracking system.

To make matters worse, we received an email from the courier saying the parcel was available for collection at a specific location. We took a taxi there, only to be told the parcel was not there at all. The courier later admitted they had no idea why that message was sent. This mistake cost us both time and money, yet CETTIRE refused to reimburse the taxi cost.

Throughout this entire process, there was no genuine customer care. We spent days chasing updates, only to see the same meaningless status changes on the tracking page after every chat. On Christmas Eve, we were told we would receive an update within four hours — but we heard nothing, not even on Boxing Day.

As a result, my husband did not receive his Christmas gift, which was extremely upsetting. The emotional frustration, wasted time, and additional costs were completely disregarded. For a company representing luxury brands, this level of service is simply unacceptable. There was no accountability, no empathy, and no effort to resolve the situation properly.

Sadly, this experience has seriously damaged my trust in CETTIRE, and I will think very carefully before purchasing from them again.

By this moment we are still trying to contact their courier service by chatting with their automated system and trying to get the parcel.

Very disappointing experience – do NOT recommend

I made a purchase from this website about 3–4 months ago, spending around £1,500. I returned all the items, and they confirmed receiving the returns. However, I still have not received my refund.

I have sent multiple emails asking for my money back, but they never reply. They have my returned items and my money, and completely ignore all communication.

This is an extremely unprofessional and unreliable website. In my experience, they take your money and do not refund it even after returns are completed.

I strongly advise everyone to avoid shopping from this website. Save yourself the stress and potential financial loss.

Worst experience so far

The worst experience so far, refund process is like a scam, you'll have to be charged £20 and have to deliver it next day only. its been a month and now there is still no updates yet, and this morning i just got updates that they just delivered the package back to me without any reason, this is totally unacceptable.

great trainers terrible after service

No phone number only their online form and all the do is say "Thanks for your patience and understanding we'll get round to looking at your refund at some point" No clear timeline - great products but terrible after service if you need to return anything.

Can’t quite believe what happened here

Can’t quite believe what happened here. I bought a Valentino cardigan, knowing it was probably going to be too small for me, but due to the decent price I got it anyway. I took it out of the box, held it up, knew I had made a mistake and there was no way it would fit, put it IMMEDIATELY back, without trying on, into the box and made arrangements for it to be sent back.
15 days later, after multiple chasing of the non existent customer service team, I got an email saying that because I had worn the item and removed the tag, they were sending it back to me and I could not be refunded.
I have been shopping online for years, and would never waste my time sending back an item I have worn and taken tags off, as no company is going to fall for that! I simply DID NOT do this, the item arrived with no tags in the first place, and in my rush and certainty it it wasn’t going to fit, I didn’t notice.
I replied to them and explained all of this, but they just stopped responding from that moment, and the cardigan arrived back a few days later. Clearly, their quality control team are as poor as their customer service team are. How could I ever trust to buy again knowing that if they send the item without the tags, I’m stuck with it through no fault of my own.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I got a wrong-size belt cost me £320. I arranged a return through their service, printed out the labels and the courier didnt arrive in the allotted window. I reschedule to next day and again, after waiting out the 6 hour window, no courier. Contacted their customer support - they don't give a phone number, only an option to message them, and no one has responded to my query. Will never buy from them again

fooled me twice…

fooled me twice. first time they sent me a used bag. tried to just refund me a portion and i didn’t accept that. took a month to get my money back. second time they sent me the wrong bag in a color i didn’t order (the bag they sent me happens to be $300 cheaper than the one i ordered… so i basically way over paid for a bag that i never even received..) i’m furious. it feels like they are being deceptive and lying to customers. they literally do not care about us. they take our money and dont even send what they say they’re going to. ill never shop there again. i should’ve learned the first time. no qualify and control. it’s illegitimate and fraudulent… buyer beware….

Ordered a pair of Valentino shoes that ended up being too big. Instituted a return the day I received the package. Cettire uses FedEx for their returns. FedEx never showed up to collect. As I was leaving for a 3 week holiday the next evening and couldn't get through to anyone at FedEx, I sorted out a DHL express return at my own expense. The package was collected 2 days after I had received it but got stuck in customs processing in Italy for two weeks, arriving back with the shipper either 3 or 4 days after the return window, and was refused.

They keep changing the goalposts. They have said they're unable to accept returns if not through their specified shipper. They then said it would have needed to be in DHL custody no later than the 10th day from the delivery date (it was in DHL custody 2 days from the delivery date). They then said they can't accept returns outside the delivery window, but their ts&cs say: Items received after this period are accepted only at the discretion of Cettire. So, they can, but won't.

They're new season shoes, completely unworn, by the way, so they'd have to problem reselling them.

Garbage experience with a garbage company.

Horrible Experience with Cettire – Avoid at All Costs!

I recently ordered a bag from Cettire with "Express Delivery", assuming it would arrive quickly like it does with other luxury retailers. Big mistake. Turns out, Cettire's idea of "Express" means up to 10 business days—which is exactly how long it took for my order to arrive. That’s not express by any reasonable standard. For comparison, 24S and Zalando deliver within 1-2 days with actual express shipping.

Once I realized how absurdly long the delivery would take, I tried to cancel my order before it shipped. But of course, Cettire refused, forcing me to wait nearly two weeks for something that should have arrived in days.

When I finally got the bag, so I looked into returning it because the event I needed it for had already happened—only to find out that Cettire charges a ridiculous €25 return fee (per item!!!) on top of making you pay for shipping yourself! Most reputable retailers offer free returns, or at least cover return shipping if there’s an issue. Not Cettire—they nickel-and-dime you at every turn.

And here’s the real kicker: You can only generate a return label on the desktop version of their website—no option via mobile. What is this, 2005? Even worse, they give you a tiny 10-day return window, which is laughably short. Good luck if you’re on vacation or simply busy—they won’t care, and you’ll be stuck with an item you don’t want.

To make matters worse, their customer service is a joke. There’s no phone number, so you’re stuck dealing with slow, unhelpful email responses from agents who clearly don’t care. They were dismissive, and provided zero solutions.

Save yourself the headache. Cettire is slow, intransparent and customer-hostile, with shady policies designed to trap you into keeping orders you don’t want or make money of your returns. Never again. 0/10

Ordered a Gucci bag with a promo code…

Ordered a Gucci bag with a promo code (10% off) only to be told it was out of stock, a day later the same bag and same serial number etc was back in stock. I still decided to buy but without the promo code (they responded with some generic BS saying it was a different product). Anyways almost 5 weeks later and the bag still hasn’t been shipped and I’ve received about 4 emails with the exact same response (all saying they were escalated the matter and waiting for a reply from the shipping team) really? Definitely won’t be buying from cettire again! They’ve taken my money and don’t seem to care.

I bought a pair of dolce & gabbana shoes from cettire, payed over £750 for them the item was supposed to be delivered by DHL , all went smoothly until i got the parcel! Instead of my shoes inside the box was full of coffee capsules, luckily i had cctv of the delivery and inside my house that could be clearly seen what i got and the moment of delivery , i have also called the police and was told how to report it online, i did everything and also completed a form cettire sent me, now after nearly a month they came back to me saying they sent the parcel and it had 2kg and that they can’t do nothing and for me to contact DHL! I did not buy from DHL i did not ask for my parcel to be sent with them i have nothing to do with them ! I weigh the box with coffee capsules and the weight is 2kg I don’t know what they meant with this , and now i’m left with a box of coffee capsules and minus 750£!!! Please be aware do not purchase from them as they don’t care , they only care about the money and that’s it! DO NOT BUY i wish i payed 50£ on a uk company and not cettire from italy! Very hard to deal with, no phone number only emails!

My friend bought me Tom Ford glasses…

My friend bought me Tom Ford glasses for my birthday which came faulty and Cettire took forever to respond and after they finally sent me a return label for a faulty item and we agreed on refunding me on store credit @110% of the value in order for me to get a new pair. When they received the item they told me I had to wait 10business day and they passed and I kept being told to wait and the store credit will be available as soon as the inspection is done hold and be behold they decided to refund my friends card and deducted 45£ and now my friend is shorted changed and still have to wait another 7days for the refund and they not even taking responsibility for sending a faulty item nor the mistake they did with the refund it’s just a shame and distasteful on their part they don’t want to do right by anyone and it just leave a bad taste in your mouth really think twice before you say order because if they send you a faulty item they will charge you even if it’s their fault

AMI Paris Cardigan

Cettire sent the wrong cardigan which was very frustrating and I returned it the same day with DHL.

They took nearly 2 weeks to refund me and they still haven't refunded me the additional £20 for return when I wasn't at fault. I ended purchasing the cardigan from mytheresa as I have lost all trust on cettire. It is truly a rubbish outdated service. They should be looking after there customers and not scamming them. I have sent them so many emails I just get pied off with same response.

"We can assure you that we have escalated this issue and are currently awaiting a reply from our team.

Once we have received an update from our team, we will notify you."

If you really need to scam your customers out of £20 then you can keep it! What an absolute joke of a service! Do not use and use websites that actually have the items in stock instead of using suppliers from all over Europe!

Please also note, I started questioning cettire on the 26th Feb and we are now the 4th April! Go figure!

Very very unhappy with this service!
