This rental process was SO SWEET
This rental process was SO SWEET! 24-hour car rental in downtown Austin, TX USA. We arrived by Amtrak late on a weekday but only had to walk a few blocks to rent a Tesla (otherwise we'd have to taxi to the airport). Seamless pick-up. Convenient chat on the app. Only problem was the Bluetooth connection failed to the car we wanted. Using the chat, the assistant got us the car parked next to it. Will use again!

UFOdrive is definitively a great service. Care is taken to the cleanliness and readiness of the car. Contract, Customer Services, Start of the rental and Return of the car, is made easy. No waiting time, and no bureaucracy docs.
I wish more UFOdrive delivery points were open on the planet. If a person likes to drive clean, with lots of power, unreachable efficiency, lots of fun, no worries on Superchargers availability, high tech luxury car, than UFOdrive is the way to go. Gebuchtes Auto in Berlin wurde zum zweiten Mal vor der Anmietung von Ufodrive storniert ohne Grund. Man kann sich nicht auf den Vermieter verlassen wenn man das Auto wirklich benötigt.

Really hard to fault
Mine was an all-round great experience. The registration and booking process was simple and the numerous videos and guides (how to find the pickup location, how to do various things with the car etc) were handy. The car, while relatively old for a rental, was spotless and didn’t put a foot wrong. The included charging costs were welcome and the charge point cards worked perfectly. My only criticism (and I’m having to work hard to come up with one) is that the app-based key feels a bit clumsy. Easily forgiven, though, and I’ll definitely book again.

Achtung, 1000 Euro weg! Ufodrive zieht Geld ohne Berechtigung ein!
Uns hat auf einem kameraüberwachten Parkplatz jemand einen Kratzer ins Auto gefahren. Obwohl wir nachweisen konnten, wer den Schaden verursacht hat und dies von der Polizei bestätigt wurde (er wurde auch zu einer Geldstrafe verurteilt), hat sich das Unternehmen geweigert, die Kaution rauszugeben. Abgesehen davon, dass 1000 Euro für einen Kratzer völlig übertrieben sind, hat sich Ufodrive auch überhaupt nicht um die Sache kümmern wollen und alle Anfragen einfach ignoriert. Wir hätten ein Gerichtsverfahren in Luxemburg führen müssen, um das Geld wiederzubekommen, das war uns zu teuer. Für Ufodrive lohnt sich Abzocke anscheinend mehr als Kundentreue oder ein guter Ruf.

I have mixed feelings about my experience with UFODRIVE at their Dublin, Marlborough Street location. The concept of 24/7 car rental is convenient, but I encountered several issues that marred the experience.
Firstly, the inspection process both at pickup and return was problematic due to bad WiFi. Even their own WiFi (password Ufodrive2022) was slow and patchy, making it difficult to complete the necessary steps efficiently.
Returning the car on time should have been straightforward, but it ended up taking 30 minutes to close the rental with chat support, which was frustrating.
Additionally, the parking bays are quite awkward, especially bay 5. It was really tight and challenging to open the driver's door due to a beam being very close to it.
On the positive side, the vehicle I rented—a 2022 Polestar 2 Long Range Dual Motor with the Pilot Lite package—was excellent. It had a good range for an EV and was a pleasure to drive. There were a few quirks with charging it, but these can be resolved with an infotainment system reset (press and hold the home button for 30 seconds).
Overall, while the idea behind UFODRIVE is great, the execution needs improvement, especially regarding reliable internet connectivity, more efficient support, and better parking arrangements.
