Great service.

I have had a great experience using roaccutane. Treatdirect responded in a timely manner. I had a preconsultation with time to make a decision, which was detailed, covered the dosage , the process, the side effects, spoke through my previous experience. The doctor answered all of my questions and cleared all of my concerns.
I have had regular blood tests, pregnancy tests and consultations throughout the course of the treatment, so thoroughly monitored throughout the course of it. Blood test were done locally in London at Harley street, pregnancy tests were sent home so could be done from home, doctor consultations were through video calls. The doctor was registered on UK register which I have checked after the first consultation. I had the same doctor throughout the course. The doctor was very pleasant and attentive, was a nice experience dealing with a professional knowledgeable doctor.
I wanted to extend my course slightly, so I did at the end for extra payment and it was well worth it.
Throughout the treatment the skin started to feel dry and the lips were quite dry most of the time, I used Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream to help the condition. Treat direct recommended Obaji skincare range during the period of taking roaccutane which also helped moisten the skin throughout the course of the treatment.
Treat direct are very well organised and although I wouldn’t always send my pregnancy test in time or photos of the face for them to keep they would keep politely chasing me to make sure all the records are in place. It was very convenient to do most of the checkups from home.
The treatment definitely works. I have got quite an oily skin and overly productive sensations glands so reaccutane helps balance out sebum production and clear out the skin. Throughout the course the dosage was different. It started off with low dosage then went onto higher once my skin got used to it then was reduced towards the end of the course which worked for me. Not a single blemish after the completed course.

I would recommend Treatdirect

I decided to use treatdirect after trying every other possible acne treatment, including antibiotics , birth control, topical treatments, changing my diet and so forth , and nothing worked. I’ve had acne for 6 years and it has always massively affected my confidence and mood.
The consultation was extremely quick and efficient, a phone call was arranged within a few days and and then the treatment started within the week after. I was very grateful for this after still being on the waiting list to see a nhs dermatologist for over a year . Other private dermatologists I have seen charge £200+ for just the initial consultation, but with treat-direct it is free and you can ask any questions you have with no pressure to go through with the treatment . My doctor was very informative and reassuring, gave me time to think about my decision and answered all my queries. After I decided to start the rest of the process was super simple as they send you the blood tests and pregnancy tests you are required to do. They have a very responsive team, my emails were always answered within a day which meant any issues that arose ( like my delivery address being wrong) were fixed quickly.
I experienced a purge, which I expected, but the doctor was great at reassuring me all was fine and recommended different things to help calm the side effects. Apart from that, the only side effects I’ve experienced are dry lips and skin , which are manageable with the right creams( i would recommend Eucerin’s aquaphor for lips).
I am very glad I decided to go with treatdirect, after being so disappointed with the waiting times for the nhs and all the other treatments i tried, treatdirect made the process simple and easy. I would recommend them to anyone suffering with acne that wants a clear path to clearing it.

I am excited to share this since I was…

I am excited to share this since I was officially discharged yesterday.

I suffered from oily skin and acne from well in my early teens until my mid-20s and I had tried all the approaches that are recommended before resorting to this medication. This includes cleansers, anti-bacterial pills, skin care routines, etc. I am a young fit person who does not smoke or eat junk food so that certainly was not the cause of the issue.

I was skeptical initially when I signed up because I had found them via social media and I knew of no one that could vouch for them. However, I could not be any happier.

Once you sign up email you with the initial information pack and schedule an initial consultation.
Within a few days, you start the consultation and they send the medication to your home.

I do not live in London which makes this company really convenient as I did all the communication over email/phone and blood test over the post.

I had not serious side effects aside from really dry skin and tanning very easily. Started seeing results within 6 weeks.

I would urge anyone who has exhausted all options to try this treatment. However, do be mindful that I got the results I wanted since I followed Dr Maria's instructions to a T. If you do what they say, you will get the results you want.

I would recommend Treat Direct to…

I would recommend Treat Direct to anyone looking to go on accutane. I have struggled with acne for over 10 years and this was my last resort. I wish I had done it sooner. The set up was super simple, only answered a few questions about my skin and then was sent my first tablets. I had monthly talks with my doctor and was aided through the process very clearly. Great experience and very thankful I did it.

Amazing treatment!

I am so happy and grateful that I chose Treatdirect to finally have a life of clear skin. My process was a 6 month course to reach my cumulative dose, but when that wasn’t enough, Treatdirect were understanding that I wanted to continue on another, low-dose course straight after and now I have fully experienced the amazing effects of isotretinoin. I feel like I have brand new skin. The service was always fast, professional and responsive and I found my video appointments great- you could tell that the doctor made sure to get to know you as a patient and your needs, offering personalised advice. Pills always arrived with no issues and clear instructions. I recommend isotretinoin treatment to anyone who has skin which is sensitive to topical treatments as this was my experience. I feel so much more confident than this time last year and so much healthier, my skin looks fresh and like a baby’s! I didn’t experience any issues with joints etc. Now I have been off the medication for a week, I am enjoying having less delicate skin as I used to be very sensitive to temperature changes. Overall, I am very satisfied with my treatment as this is what worked for me and my skin and I never had any issues with blood work etc, even when being on a high dosage. It is also important to lead an overall healthy lifestyle while being on the drug because this is how I saw the best results; managing stress and eating whole foods, staying hydrated and exercising. Treatdirect have been wonderful and instrumental to how confident and happy I feel today, leaving the house with no makeup and embracing my natural beauty. I wholeheartedly recommend the service and am excited for my future feeling this confident!

I've just finished my 6 months course…

I've just finished my 6 months course with treat direct and am super happy with the results.
Ive struggled with acne for around 20 years! since I was around 13 and it really effected my confidence.
I have tried every over the counter option, every antibiotic, and every prescribed topical treatment available to no avail. I was finally referred to an NHS dermatologist but the wait was so long and literally took years, I then had appointments cancelled, my notes lost and just a really bad experience, so I gave up with them. I knew isotretinoin was the route I needed to go down so I looked into a private dermatologist, but even the initial blood test at spire hospital was £300, so I decided to look into online options instead.

The process with treat direct was really simple, after the initial video consultation and blood test, I got my meds in the post and then got to start my course really quickly which was great. Dr Maria was lovely and always very helpful if I had any questions along the way. Having regular video calls was really convenient and always made me feel happy about how things were going. I decided to get my blood tests done by my GP so I could have them more regularly but the at home kits are quite straight forward to use so a great option.
In terms of side effects, I think I was quite lucky,I only really suffered with the dry skin, eyes and lips really, but all was pretty manageable and will hopefully settle down now I've finished my course. My skin did purge slightly in the first month or two but then settled down quite quickly and you could see things improving.
I'm really chuffed with the results , I feel so much more confident and was really pleased with the whole process & would recommend treatdirect for anyone wanting to start their isotretinoin journey.

Excellent Experience and clear skin

I have recently finished my 6 month course of Accutane treatment through Treatdirect. I have struggled with Cystic Acne since around the age of 14. I am now a 34 year old female with large and unsightly and extremely painful cysts on my jawline, cheeks and chin. Sadly, general practitioners had always minimized my acne and never offered any solutions as it is an "aesthetic" problem. Unfortunately, this has lead to scaring and years of feeling self conscious. This is my second dose of Accutane, I had a previous treatment through a private hospital in 2017 which was extremely costly and difficult to manage fees and appointments around work. My acne returned severely after pregnancy. Treatdirect has been an absolute breath of fresh air. Every single part of the process is simple, easy and tailored to you. Customer service is beyond excellent and your medical treatment is fantastic. Above all, you do not have to argue and convince the practitioners how much of an impact this has on your life, they understand the emotional and physical toll, and they want to work with you to find a solution safely. A special thanks from me to Dr Maria who always made sure I was health and safe both physically and emotionally. I had some minor side affects like aching joints and dry skin, but other than that felt very well throughout the process.

Game-changer!

For years, I struggled with stubborn acne. Over-the-counter products just weren't cutting it, and my self-confidence took a hit. Preferred the experience more than going Private!

Treated between Nov 2023-May 2024. Female, 30yrs. I had moderate acne, mainly on my chin, jaw and mouth area. I also had some acne on my back.

I had already been treated with Roaccutane privately with a local hospital back in 2019, but unfortunately my acne came back after a few years. This is when I found Treatdirect and decided to give it a go. I was a little hesitant at first as you never know what's real on the internet these days, but luckily they are 100% real!

The whole process was MUCH easier than going to hospital appointments as you are able to do your blood tests & pregnancy tests from home. I found the first self-administered blood test a bit scary, but once it was done I realised I had nothing to worry about. It was actually a lot less painful than a standard blood test. They send you clear instructions and also email you a few videos on how to administer the test. The pregnancy test is done the day before your phone call appointment once a month, which is a simple pee test. You also send photos of your face so they can see your progress.

Having the medication sent to you is also a massive plus. Back on my previous treatment I had to pick up from a pharmacy and a lot of the time they were out of stock, which caused delays in my treatment. With Treatdirect I had no fear of running out of tablets because they send you your correct dose well in advance.

The communication is consistent and very easy-going. The phone calls with the doctor are once a month and consist of checking you are physically & mentally well to continue. Accutane can be quite harsh, so it was nice to feel that I wasn't left to deal with it on my own and could ask any questions without feeling like a burden.

The treatment itself can be a hard work but worth it. I experienced "the purge" around 2 weeks into the treatment an my skin also began to feel flaky, rough and sore. This is definitely the hardest part of the treatment, but once this is done Month 2 is a lot better! This is when I started to see gradual improvement. By month 3 I was 99% clear. There are many side effects but they can be managed with right products and supplements. I found being consistent with moisturising & hydrating is key. As well drinking plenty of water, getting plenty of sleep and only doing LIGHT exercise throughout treatment. I also took Fish Oil supplements, magnesium and Vit D + K2 (no sun while on Accutane!) which all really helped.

After 6 months of treatment my skin is now super glowy and my back acne has also cleared up. I have zero blackheads and zero spots. I am left with a little bit of pigmentation/scarring, but Treatdirect have offered me aftercare in the form of a low percentage Tretinoin which should help.

Price-wise, Treatdirect ended up a bit cheaper than the private hospital too! You can pay in instalments so that the cost is spread out, although this can bring the price up a little bit.

Well worth the experience and I'm so pleased I'm back to having clear skin! I would not hesitate using Treatdirect again if ever needed and I would definitely recommend to others. The whole process can be a bit daunting at first but they make it really simple and easy.

This company is very good, every email is responded to very fast and the appointments with the doctor is very thorough every month. The medication is dispatched very fast after the review.
I love the service provided by them and they are very helpful towards any queries that need answering.

Super convenient and my skin is clear!


I’ve suffered with acne for many years and felt really insecure and fed up with my skin, but with dermatology waiting times being so long I had to look at other options. I tried numerous antibiotics and topical creams which helped slightly but caused irritation to my skin.
I decided to turn to TreatDirect for treatment as I needed something convenient due to my job etc. Firstly, being able to have dermatology consultations from home worked really well for me, the first one being free. The whole process was extremely easy, and any questions I had were quickly responded to. I had an check-in appointment every month and was able to do this from home or work.
I chose to do blood tests from home which I’d never done before, but I was provided with all the instructions needed, as well as videos to demonstrate which was really helpful. After my consultation I received my medication really quickly and it didn’t take ages to get the ball rolling. I experienced a slight purge at first which was a bit worrying, but the team advised that this was normal and put me at ease. I had some side effects such as dry skin, slight joint pain and bloodshot eyes. My dermatologist recommended some omega 3 supplements to help with this.
Keeping your skin care routine really simple was important to avoid irritation whilst on the medication. I skin was quite sensitive throughout the process and fragile. Everything was really well organised and just generally a plain sailing process. It saved all the stress of having to take time off work or arrange cover as I could do everything from home.
My assigned dermatologist was really kind and helpful which makes all the difference when I needed to ask certain questions about side effects I was experiencing. Now that I’ve finished my 6-month course, my skin is completely clear and I feel so much more at ease and confident. I was also advised about aftercare and steps I could take to ensure that my skin stays clear. I would highly recommend getting in touch with TreatDirect about any skin concerns if you are looking for an easy, convenient and effective treatment – I can’t thank them enough for the difference they’ve made!

Roaccutane Treatment Through Treat Direct

I have been on Roaccutane through Treat Direct since February, and am therefore 2 months into my treatment. I have been suffering from acne for around 10 years and have tried all sorts of topical skincare options, as well as prescribed antibiotics, but nothing seemed to work. I had a chat with my GP but realised I would be on the waiting list to see a dermatologist via NHS longer than anticipated. But then, I came across Treat Direct through a friend and her results were great, so I thought I would reach out.

I contacted Treat Direct through Instagram and they were so quick to respond and answered all my questions about their service quickly. I booked a free consultation with the dermatologist which was straightforward and very professional. The doctor reassured me that this medication would work for me, considering I have hormonal acne and PCOS.

Over the past two months, I have experienced purging and dry skin including dry lips, but nowhere near what I expected. The dryness is manageable; I just need to moisturise my lips with Vaseline or Aquaphor, regularly. I use a thick non-pore-clogging moisturiser and SPF, and this has been working well. I was hesitant to try Roaccutane as I have been told that one side effect can be mood changes, but I have not experienced this at all, which is great.

I have had monthly check-up appointments with my doctor which can be done remotely and at convenient times in the evening after work. Blood test home kits are also mailed to you, which you can complete and send back so I have not needed to take any time off work for this. I have had questions along the way, in between appointments, but they have been answered swiftly via email so I haven’t had to wait until my next check-up. I’m glad I have taken the chance and begun treatment through Treat Direct, as I had been thinking about it for a long time. I look forward to seeing the final results after the full 6 months of treatment :)

So happy! :)

I have just finished my treatment and could not be happier! From the start, I was so insecure about my acne and was even prescribed antidepressants and signed off work due to anxiety&depression. Everytime I left the house, I would stare at my skin on my phone camera and be so insecure and felt like everyone was looking at me.

I started my accutane treatment on the 7th september, and I did have a purge but was assured this was normal. Although disheartening, it is ultimately part of the process and so worth it. My doctor was thoroughly supportive.

The process was so easy and the receptionists were extremely quick to respond and very attentive, adapting my treatment to my own personal needs. Blood tests were sent straight to my door and the doctor was always happy to book in a check-up if I had any concerns about side effects (joint pain and dry lips mostly, but definitely worth it)

Now, 6 months later, I have just had my final checkup. I am a whole new person. I could have waited to go through the NHS, but I wanted to start my treatment asap and it only took around a week to start with Treat Direct including my initial free consultation. I am so much more confident and would honestly recommend to anyone suffering with acne, it is debilitating but I feel so much better now! Thank-you to the whole team, you have changed my life :)

Accutane treatment with Treat Direct

I have been on accutane via Treat Direct from September to March and I cannot thank them enough for all their help.

I finally have the confidence to leave the house without makeup on - something I wouldn’t dream of in past years and I am so much happier in my skin.

Treat direct have been absolutely amazing - they are extremely quick with replying to emails with any questions and send reminders etc for any appointments which was very helpful with my busy student lifestyle.

I am also living between 2 places due to university and treat direct were fantastic at facilitating this and my accutane journey was so smooth.

the dermatologist appointments were always on time and the doctors were fantastic.

I actually can’t fault the company - I can’t thank you enough for giving me the confidence i now have - it really has been worth every penny.

I feel like I can finally go out and not worry about my skin and that is the best feeling ever all thanks to treat direct.

I would 100% recommend to anyone suffering with acne and especially anyone who has a busy lifestyle too - I can definitely say as a student that Treat direct has been amazing at fitting into my schedule of lectures etc. it really is so easy and so worth it.

An amazing experience

I have been battling acne for more than 10 years. I had tried over the counter products as well as antibiotics but it will only call my acne for a month or 2. I decided to join this treatment to be done with acne and so I can focus on other skin issues like barrier repair and hyperpigmentation.
My first consultation with treatdirect happened very quickly. It was free which I think is amazing obviously. Dr Divya was seemed quite experienced. We discussed about my acne history and the treatments I have been in before.
The medications arrived 2 days after the consultation. I received clear information about my dosage and how to take the medication. Their team was very proactive every time I had a question.
They were very understanding and flexible. The checkups were very consistent and happened when they had to.
The treatment was a little hard honestly. Handling the side effects were not easy. I experienced severe headaches, joint pains, dry eyes, dry and bleeding nose, eczema (that I still have) and dry lips. My dose was reduced when the side effects were too much. I would also drink a lot of water and prioritised a hydrating routine.
I started purging from month 2 to month 4. My skin started clearing up after the 5th month.
Now it’s been a month since I haven’t had a breakout. I feel much more confident in my skin. I really hope my acne doesn’t come back.I wish I had done it earlier.

Amazing, but aftercare is unprofessional and only care about profits

ffered with acne for many years since I was around 13 years old and I am now 21… so it’s definitely been a long time. I was offered accutane from the NHS few years back but I decided on other options. Many of them worked however my acne always came back.

My side effects were minimal, just the usual dry lips, but other than that everything was normal. The medication was always delivered on time so you always had more than enough. I wished I started the treatment earlier as it cleared my skin within the first/ two weeks of starting it and has been ever since coming off it.

HOWEVER… aftercare treatment is poor and unprofessional.

The aftercare package which includes products that will help to maintain your skin after treatment is £350, including a retinol serum & and moisturiser. As I had already paid thousands of pounds for the treatment I opted to do my research and buy my own retinol which would do the same job and which wouldn’t cost so much.

I expressed this to the team and simply asked if they could recommend a safe percentage that would be tolerable to my senstive skin after being on accutane for 6 months.

They did not respond to any of my emails, when throughout the duration of my treatment they responded within a few hours or the next day. I then re-emailed them again and after a whole week had passed, I still had no response.

I had to call the team myself to discuss this and was basically told that they cannot share what percentage to buy as they only recommend their package and was not willing to share any other information…they do not even give you a breakdown of the specific products you are purchasing in the packaging, just the price. They didn’t respond to my emails about this query either… not surprised at all.

I had to be quite blunt with the individual on the phone saying that this is about the health of my skin, and only then they said: “okay I’ll try and ask the doctor for you”. Absolutely shocking… I found this to be extremely unprofessional as they basically only want you to buy their £350 package and aren’t willing to help you at all.

In turn, I believe they never had any intention of replying to my email at all because they did not want to help me.

It could be dangerous if I was to purchase a percentage of retinol that is too high… they need to think about the patient and not be so self-interested in profits for themselves.

As patient for aftercare, I was informed by the doctor and the team that any queries or questions I had, they were happy to ask. Obviously, this is false information.

They only have one clinic which you must attend for your regular blood tests located in London. They need to have more than one clinic available around the country for their patients as it’s not feasible for patients to travel to London just for a blood test. Otherwise, they send out a finger pricck test for you to complete OR you have to find a doctor yourself to perform the blood test for you, which you have to pay out for yourself. They however cover £75 of it, but in the UK, simple blood counts carried out at Superdrug start at £135, so it only just about covers half of it.. not good enough with the amount of money you already have to pay.

I had the best experience with…

I had the best experience with treatdirect. The overall service is so efficient, seamless and easy. After trying much everything out there from lasers, over the counter products, facials, prescription skincare and medication, my isotretinoin was the only things that truly helped. As a pharmacist, I was well aware of how effective it can be but I’ve always been reluctant due to side effects but I had such a good experience I wish I’d done it sooner - it would have saved me so much money truthfully. I used to get hormonal cystic acne depending on the time of month but that’s all cleared now and I’ve not had anything like that since the course began. My scars have also improved somewhat too. Overall i had the course for 6 months and the results as well as the service received have been outstanding. I have a lot more confidence in my skin and I really hope the results now last. My consultant was Dr Divya and I felt well supported by her. She listened to my feedback and adjusted the dose accordingly. Compared to others who I know have funded their treatment privately as well, treatdirect is so much more cost efficient and overall a better experience as everything was done remotely which suited me. Blood tests, pregnancy tests, the consultations and the medication are all included in the package price which was a good sense of security to not have to worry about that. I am beyond happy I’ve completed my course and can enjoy the benefits of my skin. Thank you to treatdirect for finally helping sort my skin. When reading reviews, it seemed too good to be true due to the effort of getting isotretinoin in the UK but it was worth every penny and just as easy as the other reviews mentioned. I’m very happy.

No more acne thanks to TreatDirect

I've struggled with persistent acne for years, and after exhausting all available over-the-counter products and antibiotics with no success, I decided to explore alternative options. With the NHS waiting list being too long and my self-confidence at an all-time low, I turned to TreatDirect for Roaccutane treatment.

From consultation to the first tablet, TreatDirect ensured a seamless process. The explanation of the treatment plan was clear, and the entire journey was remarkably well-organised.

The consultation process was nothing short of impressive. It was organized swiftly, and the doctor was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely caring. Accessible treatment

I found Treat Direct whilst looking for a Dermatologist to discuss my adult acne. I have taken Isotretinoin previously, however the dosage prescribed was not high enough to permanently tackle my persistent acne. After I provided an outline of my acne history and previous treatments via Treat Direct's website, the team got back to me promptly and sent through a range of dates and times to choose from for my first video appointment. Treat Direct's remote consultations are a great way of accessing care when you lead a busy life, appointments are also provided outside of standard working hours, which means I haven't had to take any time off of work to attend them.

Dr Gordon was very knowledgeable and understanding of my reasoning for pursuing a further course of isotretinoin, and provided me with a detailed dosage plan for my treatment to ensure I have the best chance of clearance through reaching a cumulative dose based on my body weight. I was talked through common side effects and how best to manage them.

There was no pressure to go ahead with treatment after the consultation, and the administration team has been there to answer any further questions I have. Payment plans are available if you cannot cover the full cost in one. The fees for treatment are very reasonable, and given access difficulties with obtaining Isotretinoin on the NHS they are worth the price.

Having been on Isotretinoin previously, this treatment has been a lot easier as I knew what to expect. My only noticeable side effects are dry lips and feeling slightly more achy than usual - which is to be expected given Isotretinoin's drying effects. I am confident should I develop any further side effects Dr Gordon will be able to provide adequate support in the management of them.

I have not yet finished treatment but based on my experience with Treat Direct up to now, I would highly recommend them if you're looking for accessible treatment.

Very positive experience, finally have clear skin & worth the investment.

I recently had the pleasure of using TreatDirect, a provider of Accutane, and I am thrilled to share my positive experience. As someone who has struggled with persistent acne for over a decade, finding an efficient and supportive service has been a game-changer for me.

The efficiency of their service is spot on. The ordering process was straightforward, and I received my Accutane package/prescription promptly. The discreet packaging also ensured privacy, which I greatly appreciated.

TreatDirect has exceptional customer support and comms for appointments, blood tests and photo updates. I had a few questions regarding the usage and potential side effects of accutane and Dr Divya was extremely helpful and understanding of my concerns throughout the journey.
Their knowledgeable staff provided detailed and helpful information, easing any concerns I had about the medication.

Throughout my accutane treatment, I felt supported and the regular follow-up emails and reminders ensured that I stayed on track with my medication schedule. This level of attentiveness demonstrated their commitment to customer well-being, which I found reassuring.

The accutane experience was so much better than I could ever have imagined. Acknowledging that this is a strong medication and often a last resort for stubborn acne. I have not seen my skin this clear in my entire adulthood! I personally did not purge despite having done with many topical acne products - I know everybody is different but it's worth noting as it was something I was afraid of when considering accutane. I did suffer with the common side effects of dry skin and lips, however it has been worth the perseverance.

For the clear skin results and paired with the positive service I received I would fully recommend the investment and commitment to accutane and highly recommend TreatDirect.

I am grateful for the positive impact they have had on my skincare journey. I have much more confidence and finally feel freed from acne! Five stars without hesitation!
