I just had my hair colored {supposed to be medium brown} at Square One. During the coloring I kept asking why is it so RED. My hairdresser repeated "do not worry once I wash it the red will go away" & even other hairdressers I asked said the same. But when I got home my husband freaked & showed me in the bathroom mirror where the lights are bright the top of my hair & sides are red ... the bottom brown. I washed it twice & it is still red. When I called them & complained They said the thing. I was hoping they would offer to do it again or give me my $180 back. I am 77 years on pension...

This is my second time ordering from Trade Secrets, the first time, in 2023, everything went well. This time, they did not ship my entire order to me, left some things out by mistake, and have not responded to any of my attempts to contact them. I will file a dispute but I would like to warn anyone else not to order from this company - if they make a mistake they will not fix it, and it is a nightmare to chargeback.

They never delivered my shampoo, it’s been more than a week now. No tracking number or anything. They are just scamming people

J’ai commandé 2 masks pour cheveux. Aucune nouvelle d’eux pour un suivi de livraison. J’écris plusieurs fois sans réponse Jusqu’a que je dise que je veux annuler la commande. A ce moment là seulement ils répondent que ils n’ont pas mes items et me proposent d’attendre qu’ils les reçoivent. Je ne veux pas et demande un remboursement. Cela fait maintenant plus d’une semaine que j’attends ce remboursement qui ne vient pas … évitez ce site c’est une arnaque.Je vais faire un signalement à ma banque.

The lady who introduced herself as the owner is very rude. I was dropping off my wife and she kicked me and my kids out of the store for standing in there while I spoke to my wife to figure out where we would meet next. If I can put a 0 star I would. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I had the same thing happen to me as the other reviews started. Ordered a flat iron at the beginning of August and I am still trying to get my money back. I don’t even have the product. The company trade secrets.ca (which operated under gs beauty products) looks legit, but unless you want to keep the product don’t deal with them. They steal!! Ordered the flat iron, followed up 2 weeks later after not receiving it, said it was on back order and I could get my money back or wait. Then 2 hrs later it was in stock and had shipped. Received the product and it stunk like fish when heating up (sign the electrical components are faulty), so I got a return code and label and shipped it back. Then a week later trade secrets sent it back to me again. I was told that they tested the product and it was in good working order and they were sending it back. This happed twice. I don’t have the product now and I don’t have a refund. It is almost 3 months since I purchased the product. There is no one to talk to. They keep sending me in circles hoping I will give up. I am going to the Better Business Bureau. HORRIBLE experience. Do not buy from them!

I bought a flatiron on online at the end of August 2023. When I received the product it did not work. They provided me with a return label and I informed them I didn't want a replacement and just wanted my refund. After weeks of asking the status of my refund they decided to mail back the flatiron to me this week?? So I've returned it back to them still requesting a refund and they're ignoring my emails and they never answer their phone at the head office and they've never returned my calls. Very frustrated with this company and just want my refund.

Ordered on September 5 with item supposed to be delivered in 3-5 business days. On September 15 I wrote to ask for a tracking number as I hadn't received it and was told that it was backordered and that they would be refunding me. I wonder how long they would have kept my money if I hadn't inquired??

I had an excellent experience with Trade Secrets. The whole process, from ordering to receiving the products, took 5 days. I ordered on Sunday and received an order confirmation email with an invoice. On Tuesday, my order was shipped, and I received another email with the tracking number. On Friday, my products were already delivered by Canada Post, well packaged and everything was fine!

Do not buy from this company. Quality is poor and will not work with you when they send a used, defective product. They website states, a store credit or replacement. I didn’t want a replacement. When I wrote serval emails, all were ignored. They lost a long time client. Zero customer service and stars.
Like others have said, stay away! This is a greedy company.

If I could give a 0 I'd love to. I ordered Nov 19..... confirmation of order made but not fulfilled. I reached out 2 days ago and the product is "out of stock" they asked what would I like to do. Well I want a refund.... no response. Terrible f***ing service and I will NEVER shop there again in store or online. I have never experienced such a terrible experience.

Zero stars .no reply’s to customer email , no product sent , no phone number to call . They just have my money and I lose out. Anybody have an idea that would be great .

Ordered product that never arrived. When I finally decided I should follow up about delivery I was informed they didn't have what I ordered. They just took my money and waited for me to figure it out I guess. Contacted them AGAIN asking for a refund and am still waiting. The customer service person was very nice but has absolutely no actual authority to get anything done. She is unfortunately there to take the brunt of all the complaints ( of which I now see there are many). Wish I had checked before I invested all my time and effort. There are notes on the website on how to write a "useful" review. If this review convinces 1 person to avoid my experience then I think I succeeded!

Trade Secret is my favourite place to go to do my hair and make up. Anita is the best in doing hair , I got so many compliments in the last party I attended and threading❤️Just love it,

I went to this store and I had a great experience. More specifically Athmar,(one of the employees) had done my hair and I loved the way it turned out. She had dyed my hair, cut it for me and styled and it turned out really nice. Overall I would definitely recommend!

The absolute worst customer service. I have been trying to return an unused item for over a month. I followed their instructions and contacted the email address listed in their returns process multiple times and there has been no response. There is also no customer service number that you can contact them at. I'm stuck with this item because they refuse to communicate. I believe this company to be a complete scam!

I was put off 2 more times, saying shipment was
on backorder, then I was sent a notice saying
due to COVID they could not delver, and that my refund
was pending. 5 days later they did give me a refund
but 3 months of phonecalls and agony was not worth
the effort. NEVER AGAIN!!!
Trade secrets stores are not offiliated with this online scam, so only shop in person at the Trade secrets stores.

I placed an order on November 13, 2021 with Trade Secrets location Fairview Mall and now November 17 and I haven’t received my order. I am located 10 minutes from Trade Secrets where the order was placed. Because it does not offer pick up at store option, I had to go with delivery via postal service, This is not the first time that I have have had an issue with this company, either not sending the correct order or delays in shipping the orders. Reading the other reviews regarding this company, many others have experienced the same issues. I will not do anymore business with Trade Secrets nor will I refer this company to anyone.

Payment accepted, but product never shipped. 2 weeks and no response to emails. They are running a scam.
