They stole $2,500 from me. I paid for the insurance and unfortunately had to cancel my trip. I was told they were refunding me my deposit but never received any money back. I tried contacting through email and they never replied. I called and they hung up on me. I reached out to travel agent and no reply.

They say they have no control and to get you earnings you have to keep adding funds then you add funds and they say you have to add more
Tom Williams at Tourlane was so helpful advising me about my short stay on the North island of NZ I had been before but missed the Bay of Islands. It was Tom's suggestion that I rested at the Grand Chancellor hotel before joining a guided coach trip from Auckland. I stayed at the Aarangi Tui motel in Paihia before going on a dolphin cruise into the bay. Both Hotels were welcoming and clean with adequate facilities allowing me to choose where to eat out. There was plenty of choice in the town and I'd recommend Russell as an interesting venue for a day trip.
the itinerary was good and covered a lot of places. given the budget it was very good. one good thing that happened was that our tent got updated in both masai mara and amboseli. they were both excellent places where we stayed. it couldn't have got better. the driver was brilliant and Kenya experience made sure we were given the best possible hospitality. cant complain. masai mara was the best with amboseli a close second. the service in the tsavo hotel could have been better. the location was good but cleanliness was a problem. finally the food was brilliant and i thank Tourlane for making my fifth anniversary special. i will plan again with a new destination soon.
One forward looking comment is that i should have been informed about the change of hotels by tourlane. it was told to me once i reached the location. small bit of communication which could have been better it it didnt cause any harm so i can forget that :) .
