Lumberjack bandsaw I bought is excellent but what is better was the customer service that I received.
Dave is to be applauded for his service as it was the best I have ever had in all my years

Recently bought a bandsaw and bench grinder from these lovely folks. Service is excellent. Very prompt delivery and great after care. Issue with the light controller unit on the bandsaw but Jade was very quick to resolve this for me. New angle grinder is next I think. I'm an out and out dewalt fan but the quality of build at Lumberjack prices has me hooked for shop essentials.

Very pleased with the quality and performance of this machine. Cast table and no adjustments to table or fence were required for perfect square planed surfaces.
Lumberjack are my go-to source for woodworking tools third machine purchased this year and the staff are great too!

Have recently bought two new Lumberjack tools, a belt sander and a table saw.

Both were available in stock and delivered on time, no problems, with brilliant courier tracking.

I had a couple of questions about the belt sander which were responded to very rapidly (the speed of response was a pleasant surprise).

The table saw, while not necessarily being perceived as 'on trend' when compared to others on the market is actually one of the most solid I've come across in this price range and for a hobbyist like me knocks the competition out of the park.

With the extenuating circumstances of Covid-19, these guys are really going the extra mile.

I'd recommend Toolsave/Lumberjack.

Finally got a replacement tool, but still not impressed that this took 4months and a lot of agro after first attempt to contact the company, replacement only sent after i repeatedly askef to speak directly with company ditector, so, updated and moved from one to two star only as i finally got a replacement, but can not in honesty give positive review of original tool quality, nor for the time and effort it took to get remedy.

Bought January, used for first time February, Jammed up after a few shots, unjamed it (A very laborious process of messing about with fiddly little Alan keys to dismantle top of the firing mechanism, dig out the chewed up staple then to reassemble) soon after the same thing happened again, then again, and agaim, and again ...
With each misfire the way-too-soft inner parts become more scored and pitted and more prone to further jams.
Initial/secondary contact of the company about this was completely ignored, and i only got a response when i replied to a marketing email telling them to delete me from their list as for selling such poor quality product and by ignoring communication i would never be buying from them again.
There began the circus show - initially i got an apology for previously ignored attempts to contact them and assurance they have improved their customer service, so yet again i explained the issues, and was told to send it back to be repaired, not prepared to pay the
postage on their faulty tool at my own cost more emails were exchanged and agreed that a courier would collect the gun for return, as i can not wait about all day though for an unspecified collection at am unspecified time, s
I informed them to collect from my neighbour, to be told that their courier wont do this, after pointing out this ridiculously annoying obstriction i suggest alternatively they email me a pre-paid postal label and I'd then package and return it via post-office, despite the 'local' post office being several miles out of my way.
Rather than emailing back an addressed envelope was sent in the post instead, arriving a week later.
On packing and taking this to the post office i was told that the label scanned as 'not valid for return'.
On contacting them yet again for the i-dont-know-how-many-ive-lost-count-th time about this next installment in the growing saga of p***ing me about, i was then told that a courier WOULD collect from my neighbour afterall.
Being sick now of this ongoing runaround and not willing to mess about any further ive asked in the last two emails to speak direct to the managing director/CEO as obviously dealing with customer (lack of) service is a complete waste of time, and from experience to date i cant trust that sending the tool back will ever see it fixed/returned anyway. Its now mid May, If no direct response from the MD by the end of this week I'll be taking it through small claims under consumer rights act, for sale of goods unfit for purpose, and for nothing but ongoing hindrance and delays in obtaining a replacement.
Buying from this company has been nothing but agro from the start.
Personally i can say 100% that i will never buy another product from this company, ever.

In response to lumberjack tools reply: i have repeatedly said, as was agreed in intial emails that i want the tool repsired/replaced, i have never asked for nor agreed any refund. If the first emails had not been ignored and the replacemnt parts sent as requested then none of this ongoing agro would have been necessary.
However, from the ongoing messing about through events to date i can undersyandably have no confidence whatsoever that returning the tool would either see it repaired or replaced, hence the last (so far still unanswered) email suggesting you simply send a replacement tool and take away the failed one at the same time.
When this happens i will have some faith in your companys ability to actually correct matters. Not before.

Ordered Tuesday lunchtime; arrived Thursday lunchtime - to the door on a difficult address (additional notes about location were followed).

Unit is similar to ones costing twice as much. It would be useful to include a spanner to fit the nuts on the tool. Apart from screwing clamping handles on and attaching to a bulk of timber as a base it should be ready to use, however, the finish on the comb is atrocious. Spent an hour sanding and fine filing to smooth the comb up and make sure the router bit doesn't jam in the comb.

Included Router Bit is TCT tipped - great.

1st May '20 - had to have a discussion with Lumberjack as been having a problem. They are supplying an updated part F.O.C. - Excellent service.
Also been looking on the web for addition guidance etc, it certainly reads that this Jig is very good value and one of the easier ones to use once it's understood how it all goes together.

I bought a Lumberjack SWL350 lathe 11 months ago.
It has only had moderate light use.
The chuck now moves in and out of the housing by 3-4mm, making accurate turning impossible. It is also now extremely noisy.
I contacted customer services and was told I needed to change the bearings and the spindle.
Very poor after less than a year.
I would not recommend this product to anybody

I'm gradually getting more and more Lumberjack tools. For me, they sit perfectly between cheap DIY tools and the costly professional gear- which is pretty much where I live; I'm not a tradesman, but I've done a lot of high-end DIY work, fitting kitchens and making stuff for sale.
Over time, as my tools come to the end of their natural life, I'm not going to bother shopping around. If Toolsave sell it, I'll buy it. They have great customer service and a reliable despatch service. Unless/until they let me down, they're the guys I'll call!

Bench OK but very light weight. Major issue is with vices. The 2 wooden guides are 15mm in 16mm holes so the vice racks terribly, to the extent that they are unusable unless the price to be clamped fits across both guides. Very disappointed.

one cutter is lasting just for two worktop joints.

I was very pleased with the service I had from this company. They gave great communication and a prompt delivery. Toolsave seems to have everything I need for tools at a cheap price so would recommend for the hobbyist.

Problem with a piece of kit I bought on Ebay. They got onto it straight away - good communication and part replaced quickly and without a quibble. Great company to deal with - can't fault them.

Disappointing, just returned one, dust bag zip broke and then the outer sleeve perished, only had the sander 3 weeks! Thought I'd send it back before something else failed.

Good table rubbish instruction manual as parts listed with one code never to be related to putting together instructions. Photos would be good but those provided very vey dark so no detail can be seen. All that would be needed is to link instructions to parts provided, ie which bolt to be used on what part. Fustrating when it looks like an attempt to be useful has been tried.

Toolsave have amazing customer and after sales service, truly a company that knows the importance of communication and customer satisfaction.

A good, sturdy workbench. Requires partial assembly, but this is fairly logical and straightforward. I put it together in about 40 minutes using the manual and a bit of guesswork (the manual is not especially clear). Straight out of the box I noticed that a dowel had sheared off part of the drawer. This probably happened in transit, as the parts were not packed very well. However, this was easy to fix and nothing else was damaged. I made the mistake of not putting it together in situ (as recommended), and then having to lug it all the way to the shed on my own!

I have a lumberjack bandsaw and after a few weeks the led light went off so contacted lumberjack website and very nice lady called Donna helped me out and sent out a upgraded led driver and now all sorted I already have a lumberjack table saw and will buy more lumberjack products in the future.

I've got a lumberjack SDS, a router and I've just purchased a nail gun and they all do a great job. For DIY and light site work they're ideal. Some reviews say the tools are poor quality but they are pretty tough, you don't get Hilti quality but you don't get the Hilti price tag either. Everything has been delivered on time and the customer service (by email) was very prompt and polite.

First time of dealing with this company.
