I purchase a PT254 thickness planer earlier this year during lockdown, WOW… it arrived within 21 hours of placing the order, I got 10% off, thanks guys, it was well packaged, the instruction were clear and precise and I had it all put together and running within the hour. There was an issues with one of the blades and after a quick call a replacement set was in the post which arrived a few days later.

Would I recommend Lumberjack tools… Yes, 100%. Will I buy from them again… Yes, 100% (I now want a bigger bandsaw… so it’s time to start saving time!)

I have recently bought a 300mm Dovetail Jig with 1/2" Template from them. It suppose to come with a router bit as it said on the box. It didn't. Without it's pointless. I've contacted their customer service and I was told that the missing item is in the post straight away. I said to myself: great service. After a week, nothing. Contacted them again. They apologised for the inconvenience and assured me that another router bit went in the post. Another week and nothing again. Then, when I've reviewed my correspondence with them I realised it was my fault all the time. I've never noticed that the name of the person signing as customer service was PINOCCHIO.

I recently bought a BDE1200 dust extractor and am currently "plumbing it in". Whilst researching the adapters I need I thought I would buy spare paper bags for the filter. Please could management explain why they cost £7.96 EACH !!. With other identical extractors you get 5 for that price, which is still pretty expensive for a paper bag. I know its a filter bag but even so.

I purchased a thicknesser planer in September 2019 and when it developed a fault, I contacted toolsave and they immediately rectified the problem with no hesitation. I would strongly recommend using this company.

I've seen a lot of discussion online recently about this company and their products. Some of it negative, and some of those negative reviews are very picky and also don't recognise the difficult times we are currently in.
Moaning about price increases, that all companies can have, especially during a pandemic where raw materials are in shortage.
I contacted them before purchasing and got great communication. I purchased the TS1800 saw and BDE1200 extractor.
Communication during delivery was excellent. Products came within 4 working days, by pallet. Great service.
Spoke to Jade during the whole transaction.
Saw is brilliant for the money. Very capable and solid.
Extraction is very powerful.

So far all is very good and I will use them again.

Bear in mind that as with all budget machines, very low priced ones come from abroad and you get what you pay for. But my experience has been very positive.

Toolsave are the most helpful and obliging company The LED driver on my husband's Lumberjack bandsaw failed and a replacement was sent by first class post and arrived the very next morning. Now my husband can clearly see, his ever growing heaps of sawdust with his new LED light! Thank you Basil at Toolsave.

Not a review of a purchase, as i haven't made one, but guys, please, sort out the Lumberjack website, its an exercise in frustration trying to navigate it!
Case in point - Impact driver. It wasn't under woodworking tools, it wasn't under garage tools, it wasn't under power tools, but it appears if you actually search for it. It appears to exist completely within an unlisted category!

Makes me wonder how many other tools you offer that simply can't be located. I was on here a few weeks ago looking at storage lockers, but i can't find them now!

Its a bit of a let down, as i've heard great things about your products, but your website must be putting people off.
Get rid of the "sort out your X" section, or at least add some additional categories to the drop down menus, make it easier to find stuff (including the secret squirrel section containing impact drivers), and some supporting documentation for the larger kit wouldn't go amiss either!
BTW, having found the impact driver body, i couldn't find the ***king batteries for it!

Whilst the product is a great dust extractor - LumberJack BDE 1200, the service from Toolsave isn't.
Online payment received by them, but no order details at their end because of "system failure", I had to chase them from the start to give again the product required for them to enter manually, to find out delivery etc, promise of an email to give delivery time that never came- chased again.
This is one company I'll not use again.

This heat gun works ok at first but after three uses the heat control failed and would only work on level 2

The cost of return a negated doing so obvious answer by cheap buy twice!!!

Suction sucks I've replaced a Titan wet and dry with this so now I have to use both the titan to hoover up the dust this thing leaves behind.

Following on from my original review of 02/06/20 I received a rather bland response from Ros in accounts, stating price increases were not their normal policy and how they endeavoured to be competitive: I notice, however, that the price of the item in question (BS254) has increased by yet another £20.00 being approx. 6% since 31st May, this is now an approximate overall increase of 29% since August 2019. If this is them 'being competitive' I would hate to see what happens when they need to instigate a planned price increase.

Bought a 12” dual bevel saw based on reviews. People reviewing must have very low standards. The saw is rubbish. As is their customer service. The locking mechanism on the base failed within an hour of use. Sent photos to company as requested for their “technical” department. No reply or solution. The saw needs constant checking and the stops are a joke. No accuracy or consistency. Make four cuts , get four different results. All in all a poor product from a mediocre outlet. Pay more for a better machine. Don’t waste time and money on Lumberjack.

Just purchased a Bandsaw BS340 340mm 14” and very easy to assemble.

Great service when I collected my machine and I have to say that Jade who is the team leader has been excellent in dealing with my enquiry, the shop floor were totally aware of my needs when I entered the building, transaction was very straight forward and easy.

Machine works very well and meets my expectations.

Will certainly be using this company again.
