Horrendous customer service

Horrendous customer service. As a former Vauxhall employee I’m extremely disappointed in Vauxhall Thurlow Nunn Luton and would have expected more.

Terrible service and giving Vauxhall a very bad reputation in Luton. I’m so shocked and they can treat people this way! Vauxhall need to intervene and support as it’s just so shocking! I’m so upset, disappointed and just still in shock!

Disaster from start to the end
They sold me a dodgy car and it broke down 3 times in a week then I managed with big delay to get my money back .then they tried to sell me another car with £700 discount because of dodgy first car but they wanted to sell 2 years warrant for £600. I refused to have the warranty so they deviously cancelled the deal . That was my experience with Thurlow Nunn.

Luton thurlough nunn

Luton thurlough nunn, a Refund of over £650 was processed on to my card over a month ago the refund was never released to my account. I have been chasing with the service team which I understand is not within their power to resolve, I have been promised calls from accounts but the only updates I have received is when I’ve called in and fobbed off with “accounts will call you today” which they never do. I’ve provided the details several times but yet No contact, no apology and still no payment, completely unacceptable and needs to be resolved immediately. I logged a complaint and still have not received a reply. Please can someone take responsibility of this, stop fobbing me off, take it seriously and sort this out please.

I dropped my car off on 12th November for diagnostics to be carried out on 13th November, and paid £129 upfront. Since then, I have received no meaningful communication from the garage regarding the results, the diagnosis, or even whether my car is safe to drive.

Every attempt to get answers has been through their live chat, and every time I’m told “we’ll pass this on” — yet nobody ever contacts me back. It has now been almost a week, and I am still completely in the dark. I’ve been left without a car, without information, and without any sense that anyone is taking responsibility for resolving this.

For a paid diagnostic service, this level of service is unacceptable. Being ignored after taking payment, failing to provide promised information, and leaving a customer with no update for days is simply not acceptable for any business.

Extremely disappointed and would not recommend based on my experience.

**Update 20/11/2025: Still no response from the garage.

It has now been a full week with absolutely no contact or explanation from the garage. As I explained at the time, my wife’s car is also currently off the road due to a repair, so this delay has put us under even more pressure. Because the garage has continued to ignore me, I’ve now had to spend additional money elsewhere just to get the car properly looked at — money I shouldn’t have had to spend if I had simply been given the information I was promised.

All I have repeatedly asked for is justification for the parts they said needed replacing, and an explanation of how they reached that conclusion. Instead, all I received was a large quote with no supporting evidence, no diagnostics shared, and no willingness to explain the findings. It feels as though the expectation was that I would simply agree to a very expensive repair without being shown any proof.

At this point, I have wasted £129 on a diagnostic that gave me nothing and left me completely in the dark. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer care has made this experience far more stressful and costly than it ever should have been.

Second purchase from garage

Went just to just look at the car and ended up trading ares in for another one. Very pleased with the service I received from all staff. Was greeted professional by all members of staff.
