Extremely disappointed…After booking my appointment and receiving text confirmation I thought that’s great…Then I received another text with another date that I had already informed them I wouldn’t be available…They agreed to do the original date which was already 3 weeks ahead only to call this morning to cancel…No care or consideration whatsoever from the girl who called or even an offer of another appointment, it was with an attitude of take or leave as we just cannot be bothered…Even a score of 1 is too high…

Beware of this company. It is a very expensive option and if you pay by direct debit they will increase the amount without informing the customer, contrary to the banking code.
Yes the weeds are less, but after 1 year he results are not worth it. If you cancel the direct debit they will want more money out of you, saying they have done more treatments than you have paid for
AVOID AVOID There are better options out there.

Terrible customer service!! Tried to cancel several times, impossible website to navigate almost like they are trying to make sure you cant understand how to leave!

I bought premium grass seed from green thumb- the most e pensive stuff . I have weeds now my lawn never had and I mean never. The most invasive thick deep rooted hard to remove weeds I never ever had. These weeds have taken over the lawn and have even started spreading to my back yard. Have hand removed these weeds or at least attempted to. These won’t go away., so disappointed in this grass seed. Brought problems I never had. Don’t buy!!!!!!

Having been a customer for a good number or years the level of service and response to e-mails became unacceptable.
Even though we were on a pay monthly plan to include scarification and aeration we received paperwork at the beginning of the year quoting additional prices to undertake this work, when we questioned this we were assured that the work had been paid for and would be done. Come August no work done and despite numerous e-mails and contact via the national website prior to August it took over a month to reply, which wasn’t at all positive.
After the many years and a considerable amount of money paid to Greenthumb our lawn looks no better than our neighbours who have saved their money. Very disappointing.

Had to change my appointment at short notice and the Epsom office could not be more helpful.
James arrived exactly at the time agreed the following day.
He was cheerful, knowledgable and explained everything including answering several questions regarding the treatment and aftercare.
He was treating the lawn for around an hour.
Since the previous treatment in the spring our lawn has looked the best ever and we will continue with the next treatment.

Appalling - took them on for a year. Zero improvement to my lawn, they just went through the procedure
No consultation they even tried to shoe horn at out of schedule treatment the week before Christmas.

Very clean van - poor communication with their Employee - a year wasted for me. Money down the drain. Companies like this should be wound up

Arrived on time. Walked the garden with me providing useful info. Very polite & efficient

Plants died within 2 weeks of treatment and they did nothing!

Never again!! What a waste of money!!!! I’ve been with this company for a long time and it use to be quite a niche company and they valued you as a customer. I had a break from them 2 of years ago. Since I came back their prices have doubled.
My lawn never looked as bad as it does now. Last treatment they did was February and my next one was meant to be in May but apparently they were behind due to bad weather. I had to have the next treatment on the 15.7!!!! They came the following day and £110 later they still told me I need to spend another £50 for red thread fungus. No offer of a discount to apologise for such a delay. Not even for the weed and feed because if they came when they would suppose to I wouldn’t have a weed problem. Just excuse after excuse but invoice came through my email an hour post visit!!!!! Maybe I’ll delay my payment due to bad weather!!!!! Don’t be conned with this company.NOT WORTH IT!!!!!!!

Our lawn was a mess but Greenthumb Suffolk East came to the rescue with their advice and treatments at a price far lower than the cost of us relaying a new lawn. Weather conditions during 2023 were difficult but the company as a whole managed to provide a professional and reliable service. We hope to continue growing the partnership into the future. We have just requested treatment for the driveway.

Terrible service, I had an appointment booked for the 17th July for my lawn to be surveyed, they contacted me the day before via text message to confirm the appointment only for them to cancel on the day they were due to arrive. I'm self employed and took a day off to show them around and what I was looking for so a very costly day for me. I wouldn't recommend this company at all and will be looking at a more professional alternative.

Absolutely useless!
Constant rescheduling, this has been going on for months!

Their finance department (Liverpool branch) are useless. Failed to take our Direct Debit payments then accused our bank of non-payment. They just hadn't requested! We wondered why we hadn't had a visit since January, despite taking our monthly DD so we rang and asked. We were told that 'suspended' had been added to our account, despite still taking payments. We have cancelled our contract. Not one apology for their mistakes. Useless.

Having had green thumb for a number of years I was happy to have 3 times a year . The price has gone up which I appreciate most things have gone up but this double treatment without my knowledge was a crafty upgrade I didn’t ask for . I will now be cancelling and finding an alternative, just under £400 for weedkiller is just too expensive for my purse . Disappointed with you greenthumb been loyal but you took advantage.

I’m green thumb took my weedy old lawn away and reseeded and helped me grow a new lawn last year. They have provided advice and treatments and my lawn is looking great.
Always available on the phone and very helpful team, thank you Green Thumb.

Appalling service. My father booked to have his drive cleaned using chemicals, it didn’t look any cleaner after so he asked them to redo it as he wasn’t going to pay for it. They have rebooked and cancelled THREE times now. I don’t know what’s going on with this company but they won’t have any customers left soon. I’m surprised they are still in business, at the rate they are going they won’t be for much longer.

Once again greenthumb cancelled after I had taken the day off again! Since signing up for greenthumb they have visited once! Not impressed! Now looking for a new lawn specialist

Disgusted in this company, signed up last year to 5 call outs throughout the year, carried out from August so 3 together towards the end of the year into the beginning of this year, then nothing!!!!! Called them a couple of weeks ago and asked for my next treatment as the garden was now worse than the year before so all felt like a total waste of money. Received 2 texts and an email to notify me my treatments would now be £45 each however still no visit. Greenthumbs finally came out Tuesday and did my treatment of the lawns, an hour later I received an email with an invoice for £84. On ringing them I was told that they had done 2 treatments, this was without my knowledge or consent, customer Service informed me that I had to pay it despite no prior notification that they were doing this. I have now cancelled the account and will never use them again. I asked for a further call from a manager and obviously no one as even bothered to call me back. I’m honestly disgusted that they think they can go ahead and just do this without even asking the customer if it’s ok to do that, and as I pay each treatment at the time I now have an £84 bill to find.
