Lewis and Bill arrived in the time slot, were very knowledgeable and did exactly what they were supposed to.

Excellent service from start to finish. We always get great advice and guidence from the Greenthumb team.

I have just cancelled our agreement having had numerous advertising emails asking if I want to pay extra for a greener lawn – isn’t that what my monthly subscription was covering?! When I enquired about this to my local (Beverley) branch, I did not get a response. Very poor customer care.

A total rip off customer service is shocking
Never reply to messages on the portal
Left on hold for 30 minutes trying to get through on the phone
The operatives only spend 5 minutes treating the lawn and only interested in up selling products
My lawns look no. Different after several visits
Totally avoid this company!

I received very helpful service in the reseeding and top-dressing of my lawns from Billy and Kieran following devastation caused by last year's weather. They worked hard and efficiently - and cheerfully - in their work to restore the garden prior to its opening in a few weeks time.

Obviously have a strategy of putting barriers in the way of customers trying to cancel their accounts!!! I’ve sent a message via the website and two emails to the local franchise and been ghosted. I’ve tried phoning, choosing the ‘cancel account’ option which puts you in a lengthy queue. I then phoned and chose the ‘add extra treatments’ option which got me through to someone immediately - how strange!!!

Fantastic experiences! Kyle has been out a couple of times now to my lawns. He came yesterday and his knowledge and genuine care for what he does is commendable, he is polite, friendly and professional as is anyone I have spoken to and sought advice on the phone, never too busy to help or to ‘find out and call back’… thank you all!

The guy came to my garden put something on the lawn, and literally left in 10 minutes, haven’t heard anything from you guys since. 🤷🏾‍♀️

First time we have used their window cleaning service and the best we have ever had.

I have used Green thumb ( Kidderminster)for many years, it was scarified September 2025 by 2 very young people and unfortunately not very experienced, they left a lot of thatch still in the lawn and with the dry summer we had my lawn was the worst it has ever looked. It's now April 2026 and it still looks awful. I have since cancelled my agreement with them and are trying to get the mess sorted out.it probably will need all replacing.

In order to treat our lawn leather jacket infestation, Lewis came on time and treated our lawn. He also advised us on watering, walking on, and cutting the grass.

Neo made our garden look really lovely - a great way to start the season!

Impossible to contact the company by email or the portal. They just don’t reply.

It would have been good to rate my experience, however after three attempts to contact this company , having had confirmation of receipt, I have never received any contact ! I run my own business and would fail miserably, if I treated my potential customers in this manner. I have now engaged a company whom responded within 24 hours .

What a load of baloney, our Green Thumb franchise was great UNTIL they were 'taken over'.
Now thanks to those, I assume, accountants, HR specialists and head office wonders who have probably never seen the customer facing side of the business , I believe they are in danger of killing a great business. But do they care, correspondence comes from unsigned and unnamed individuals, perhaps one could assume they might not want to be identified with a migration plan that does not appear to have been tested out and they appear to have been forced into 'the big bang approach with what appears to be a total lack of preparation for a migration.
The competition must be delighted and the customers are frustrated.
The view 'We are from head office we are here to **** it up for you. Sounds to be truer than any other takeover I have seen over many years in business.
How well they have succeeded. I feel desperately sorry for the excellent customer facing staff you had and those operatives who are still great in the field but are wasting time placating customers of the perceived incompetence of head office and possibly the directors/owners.
The field force are a credit to the Green Thumb franchises but now the apparent faceless wonders in head office appear to want to destroy their jobs and career. Please Green Thumb wake up and put your customers and customer facing staff first. Remember that if your 'front end' doesn't work there is no jobs for head office as without sales and service you have no future.
Whom ever is in charge of this migration should really consider their position

From my experience over many years their disgraceful response is typical of the start of a demise of a once great company.
No name or title of the person contacting me.
Showing ignorance of not knowing the problem when it has been well documented.
I want a dialogue of someone by name, title and with full contact details who actually has the authority to do something.
The ONLY reason we are currently staying with Green Thumb is thanks to the wonderful customer facing team in the field and I will follow them once the unamed team in head office has completed its unintentioned mission of destroying the business. Currently they score 9 out of 10 !

Good service

Martin and Dylan from the Glasgow branch have visited to scarify & aerate my lawns and did a professional job, cleared-up afterwards and looked totally tidy. I have use Greenthumb for many years and I'm always impressed with their work and work ethic. As always they have undertaken the job professionally and timely and are always very pleasant. They happily give advice when required or asked for. nothing is too much trouble. I highly recommend them.

Robbie from the borders came to aeriate and scarify my lawn. He did a very thorough job and cleaned up well after the treatment. While he was here we discussed the state of my lawn and possible further treatments. Robbie is clearly experienced and knowledgeable. I am happy with the service provided.

Reviewing on behalf of my Mother-in-law…..
The services were cancelled at the beginning of January and was told that all payments would now be cancelled.
On checking my Mother-in-laws bank account in February could see that Greenthumb had taken the next months money. Contacted them to say and they apologised and said the money would be refunded. Exactly the same then happened in March and lo and behold exactly the same happened in April.Both times I contacted them and they now need to refund 3 months of payments.
My Mother-in-law is 90 years old and her husband has recently been taken into a Nursing home so things have been pretty stressful.
I really feel that this Company are really taking advantage of the elderly.
I spoke with Greenthumb again this week to give them the opportunity to put things right before reviewing…. After speaking with the lady in the office who was going on annual leave the next day said her Manager would contact me and guess what….. no call. So here is our review!!!
AVOID THIS COMPANY and make sure your elderly parents avoid them as well.

This company has been treating my lawn for over 15 years and it could not look much worse. It is full of moss, daisies, thistles and dandelions.
