I had to renew my car insurance and phoned to talk to an agent. After a short wait, it was a busy Friday, I got Cain. He was most efficient, getting the best deal available and processing everything smoothly with no delay. It was a rewarding experience.

Lifesaver. Live in the sticks, fella came within an hour and sorted the problem. You don’t know you need it until you need it.

Every single time they change statement about quotation like they dont know what the exact price and sometimes if they dont find a way to talk they ll put on hold and disconnect cal .

My car would not start 23/4/26 . I was due to work night duty .i phoned KIA Assist who turned out to be AA .( at aprox 6:30 pm ) I gave my details and was told 1/ 1.5 hours .
I later rang for update after 1:15 hrs and was told 25 mins . I rang in 25 min and was told 25 mins . The person in call centre showed had no empathy and was not responding helpful, then I Wd get elated text asking for review ect .
I had to burrow a car from someone to come to wk , I had to get someone to wait with my car .
The agent come and he cdnt start the car and made arrangements to put key in safe place for the car to be collected this am . I got a call in wk to ask was there another key or device on keyring as key cdnt open the dead car .only the key was left in the safe place , that personal had to leave . When I came home the whole Texting started again , not very helpful, I cdnt ring the 0818 number ad asked in text for the Dublin number I had rang but Eva wd not give it to me , it was on the rescue number in my car but I cdnt get into the car ,many text ensued about same but she wd not give me the information. I really wanted to talk to a human and told her do .
I also asked customer service or a manager call me but again denied same , I also need a replacement car but I had nobody to take me and APerson who called me said she didn’t know if this cd happen but wd call bk in 90 mins , I didn’t get the call .
In the end a gentleman called Owen called me and gave me a run down on what was gg to happen , he would collect my car in a timely manner, he was kind and gave me assurance. He came to my home and I gave him the part of key to open under the door handle , he took my car to the garage . He was very nice and delivered as he said .
I am not impressed with AA rescue or their endless text that were frustrating.

Brilliant to deal with from getting quotes to sorting the policy. The insurance advisor Luke went above and beyond to get a good quote for me and done all the extra searching on my behalf. It’s rare these days you get that type of customer service. I will stay with the AA for the foreseeable future as all the dealings iv had with them have been excellent. No dealing with chat bots or having to do everything online. 10 out of 10

I contacted AA to add my husband to my policy. The agent I dealt with (and I wish I took his name) was superb in dealing with the matter. He was courteous, competent and very kind. The whole matter was sorted within minutes and he waived any increase in premium for this year. I could not be more grateful and impressed. Congrats AA for wonderful service!

I thought my car insurance was too high with AIB. so I did some checking and I found AA Car insurance. They were €200 cheaper + AA membership. I am very happy with it
