If I could go below one star I would. Well done AA Ireland on winning the prize for the worst customer service, not just in Ireland, but in the entire world.Seven days trying to resolve what I believed to be a small issue. No response from any platform. Over an hour waiting on hold each day but no answer. Chat agents are never available.Sales will answer in less than a minute, but they can’t or won’t transfer you to support. The absolute worst. Buyer beware. I think they are taking notes from Eircom’s old management.

Overall, AA has been so helpful and their insurance rate is the best.

When i joined the AA i was told about all the wonderful offers that came with the insurance package, discounted fuel, for one. This offer has yet to work for me. Each time I present the code at the checkout im told it's not valid. Contacted the AA twice, and still no resolution .. Again today at a Circle K refused.

I purchased a car insurance policy with AA, they were coming in slightly cheaper than my renewal and asked the agent about what cover I have and he said I had the same level of cover as my renewal which included all add ons. Proceeded with the purchase. I checked the documents for my policy and noticed I only had half of the add ons that my previous policy had which the agent told me I didn't have. So was mis sold the policy, I phoned up AA to discuss this was waiting on hold for nearly an hour, finally got speaking to an agent who told me details and assured me they will ring me back in the afternoon with a result, that never happened so phoned AA again, was on hold for another hour passed around to reception and other agents was getting nowhere so decided to cancel my policy as AA had no interest in resolving my issue. Stay away as I miss sold a policy, they don't want to answer the phone. They are quick to answer the phone if you want to purchase but if you have an issue with your policy very slow to answer.

The knowledge and helpfulness of the agent. She was so pleasant and explained everything so so well. Very easy to talk to.

I just had a brilliant experience over the phone with an AA car insurance agent named AOIFE. Setting up/renewing insurance can usually be a bit of a headache, but she made it completely stress-free. She's incredibly professional, explained all my policy options clearly without any confusing jargon, and even helped me find a great rate. It’s rare to get such efficient and friendly service these days. Highly recommend!

Very bad experience with AA. called in 3 times to check if i can move my insurance to my new car only to be told that they will call me back, but this never happened. after a week of trying to move my insurance to new car i finally managed to speak to someone who could check this only to be told that its not possibly and i need to buy new policy and they offered me a price of almost 400 euro more than for year before. so i decided to cancel this insurance and bought insurance from different insurance company. then i was told that i will get a call back in 2 to 3 days to discuss cancellation- it is now 8 days later and i still haven't received this call back. i have spent over 5 hours now on hold with them and still none the wiser how can i cancel my insurance. very bad service.
