Insurance made simpler
This is what getting insurance used to be like. Instead of entering endless lines of information and trying to answer some highly ambiguous questions, having someone to talk you through the application is extremely helpful. Trustworthy and patient service
Can highly recommend the Insurance Surgery and want to thank Thomas Heyes in particular. Tom was super helpful and helped me get insurance cover when I couldn't get cover elsewhere. He also very helpfully stayed in touch with me (checking in every year for three years!) and helped me get better cover when that became possible. Great Support, but ongoing data error hassle
Overall, I had a good experience with Insurance Surgery. Tom was really helpful, explored multiple options, and shared competitive quotes to help me choose the right Relevant Life Insurance policy.
However, there was an issue with incorrect spelling of names, which was unfortunately submitted to the insurer. This has turned into a frustrating process to correct. Although the insurer has confirmed updates, the online portal still shows incorrect details.
Tom has been proactive and supportive in following up with the insurer, which I appreciate. That said, the errors originated during the initial process, and it highlights a gap. If there were an online portal where customers could enter and review their own details instead of relying on phone communication, this issue could likely have been avoided.
In summary, good service and support overall, but the admin accuracy and process could definitely be improved.
