After struggling to get coverage…
After struggling to get coverage for months for a condition that doesn’t have any impact on my longevity. Stephen had worked his magic and got me sorted within the space of a few days.
He was brilliant start to finish, really took the time to get to know me and my condition. No conversations were rushed and no questions left unanswered. He regularly checked in and kept me informed.

I would highly recommend The Insurance Surgery for their outstanding customer service and professionalism.
I submitted my enquiry on Sunday 3rd May, and even though Monday 4th May was a UK Bank Holiday, Sam Cox from The Insurance Surgery still called me that day to discuss my requirements in detail. I was genuinely amazed by how quick, proactive, and dedicated his service was.
Sam patiently took the time to understand exactly what my husband and I were looking for and immediately provided us with competitive quotes. Over the following couple of weeks, we asked many questions and requested several different quote variations for Term Insurance and Critical Illness Cover — including different cover amounts (£50k, £75k, £100k) and different age limits. Every single time, Sam responded quickly, professionally, and with great patience.
What really stood out was how clearly and simply he explained the differences between policies, making everything easy to understand without any pressure.
A huge thank you to Sam Cox and The Insurance Surgery for their amazing service so far. It has been an excellent experience from start to finish!

A* Absolutely fantastic
I cannot recommend this company highly enough, especially Tom, who has helped me not just recently, but also five years ago. On both occasions, the service has been absolutely impeccable.
I have underlying health conditions, and in the past, I have found dealing with insurance companies to be quite stressful, drawn out and quite overwhelming. My experience with Tom was the complete opposite. He made the whole process feel straightforward and completely manageable, as though nothing was too much trouble, and everything was sorted incredibly quickly.
Tom was professional, knowledgeable, reassuring and efficient throughout, I felt genuinely confident that I was receiving the best possible advise and service. I have already recommended family members to Tom and I honestly would not go any where else in the future for life insurance.

Brilliant Service
We wanted to take out life insurance and income protection due to buying our first home. Stephen couldn't have been more helpful. We have a lot of pre existing conditions and Stephen worked with us to find the right policy for us. He has been really responsive to emails asking questions or to ask him to get on touch via the phone at a suitable time.
We were recommended to use The Insurance Surgery by our mortgage advisor and I'm so glad she put us on to them. We haven't been disappointed and know that if we do have any questions, Stephen has said he will still be happy to help in any way he can.

Exceptional Support for a Complex Medical Case
I recently secured life cover through The Insurance Surgery, and I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough, especially Neil Cameron, who supported me throughout the entire process.
I have a complex medical history, including Transposition of the Great Arteries, so finding suitable life cover has never been straightforward. From the very beginning, Neil was incredibly patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. He gave me the time, support, and honest advice I needed without ever making me feel pressured or rushed.
What really stood out was how compassionate and reassuring he was during what can be quite an emotional and stressful process to navigate through. He took the time to fully understand my situation and worked hard to help me secure cover that I genuinely wasn’t sure I’d be able to get.
Thanks to Neil and The Insurance Surgery, I now have peace of mind knowing my family is protected. If you have a complicated medical history and are struggling to find insurance, I would absolutely recommend speaking to them.
