Awful experience.

Initial delivery from ASB delivery was the wrong sofa. 2 days later the correct sofa was delivered but it was faulty, someone had dropped it and the recliner mechanism did not work properly and it chewed the rug up underneath which which now has a hole in it.
This was 8th April, on a Weds late afternoon. I emailed TechSofa on the Weds to complain and sent photos and videos of the faulty sofa.
Thursday afternoon I still had heard nothing, so I rang them. They had not seen my email or the delivery companies feedback. Person said they would refund delivery charge and actioned broken sofa to be collected and get a new one delivered.
Friday, delivery company sent a whatsapp with wrong supplier name and postcode notifying me delivery was scheduled for the Monday. I said I wasn’t available. I asked for a delivery on Thursday or Friday.
On the Saturday they said they would reschedule and confirm.
It’s now Thursday and I’ve heard nothing since, I’ve whatsapped them, left a voicemail and tried ringing 3 times.
Went back to TechSofa, who said they would contact them, but had still heard nothing. I told TechSofa I wanted the sofa collected and cancel the order. I was told that was counter productive! They had no concept of the frustration and inconvenience at all. Their communication was appalling with me constantly having to chase things up.

Got a call on the Friday 17th from ASB delivery company saying they could pick up Sat afternoon. Which was not convenient as I was out, the next date they could give me where I was also available was 30th April. They sent me an email to confirm.
So I‘be had a broken sofa in the middle of my lounge for 3 weeks.
On the 30th, I’d received no further contact from ASB so I called to confirm when the sofa was being collected.i was told an afternoon collection after 12pm.
I got a call at 5.40pm saying the collection would be at 8.10pm, having rearranged my day to be in. But was for out in the evening.
Then got a call rearranging for Fri 1st. Between 2pm and 6pm.
Needless to say it’s now 7pm and the sofa is still in my lounge.
This whole reverence has been appalling and us still not over
Lack of communication , empathy and efficiency my TechSofa.
Same with ASB deliveries.

Outstanding sofa

Well I ordered the 3 seat and arm chair series 8 sofa. On the 22/04 and I couldn't believe it but it was delivered 6 days later. Super fast service the sofa itself is absolutely fabulous top notch it just looks premium it was a tiny bit bigger than expected but that was a good thing. The heated seats, electric recliner and electric head rest are absolutely amazing. And the 4d surround sound speakers built into the sofa are way better than I thought.They would be. All in all i am super impressed with the sofa.Probably the best one i've ever had. My only negative thing would be.The delivery men didn't really have a lot of knowledge on the sofa 😕 but all in all, I would definitely recommend this company.Especially for the price

Issue with Sofa and no response from TechSofa

I have been trying to contact Tech Sofa since March this year as the heating seat on my Series 8 2 Seater Sofa with centre console stopped working on 1 of the chairs and on the other chair the recliner for the legs part is not fully going back in flush with the sofa so it is sticking out.

Id like to know what can be done to fix these issues or if nothing can be done for the sofa can be fully returned and i can be refunded what i have paid so far towards the sofa cost. I am still paying for this sofa and it is still on warranty.

Ive filled in the online forms and had no response, sent messages on whatsapp and theyve been read but not replied, ive tried to call multiple times and been waiting over an hour and no answer.

5 years on, going strong!

*Update now they want to talk, when they already have my number.... ASK CARRIE, I SPK TO HER ON A WEEKLY BASIS ... PLS CALL ME!!!
Ordered sofas in December 2025, delivery day, only 1 arrived! Then second one arrived, a few days later (once I called them). My hall table damaged on delivery, but they didn't want to know. Two seater stopped working immediately, we are now entering May and on, hopefully, the FOURTH attempt to fix it, if the part ever arrives. I spend most weeks phoning, and chasing up, these repairs. I have asked for replacement, only to be told they are not in till July... then oh no we won't be getting these in! Do yourself a favour..... AVOID!!!!

Delays quickly resolved

We had a delay due to a stock issue, but the team handled it really well. Carrie kept us updated throughout and made sure everything was sorted quickly.

Warning - don't buy from Tech Sofa

Edit: neither of the two numbers I provided have had a missed call and when I tried to ring back I waited 24 minutes with no answer. The final notice letter has been sent signed for and received so I would expect a reply to this, in writing, by the end of this week.

Ordered a large series 8 corner sofa and it was built in November 2024. In the same month the wireless charger stopped working. Since then we have had nothing but problems. Heated seats stopped heating, recliner frame fell apart at the foot and the list continues.

An engineer came out and couldn't fix it. No communication from Tech Sofa to update me. I asked for an update. Nothing. I have WhatsApp'd and a lady that replies to these reviews WAS replying and agreed to swap for either the same or a different model. Then communication stopped. Another collegue then reached out by email and phoned that night as promised. He advised me that the series 8 has been discontinued so it was agreed we would swap for a series 5. It wasnt in stock but he would let me know in a couple of days when it was expected. I thought I was getting somewhere. Of course, I had to reach out again and was told expected March. I looked online and it said June. So I asked the question - should we expect delivery in June.

I have had no response since February and have tried multiple emails which have gone unanswered and the same with phone calls.

Now, tonight the control panel has stopped working and the sofa reclined and went down of it's own accord, so that has had to be unplugged.

We have send a final notice letter recorded delivery and as the deadline looms we have not had a reply.

As a tip for those buying or thinking of buying, don't. If the usual person replies to this review saying they've asked for more information it's a lie. They have all the information and they definitely don't reach out!

Save yourselves some time and stress and order an expensive sofa from elsewhere.

Had this about six weeks now and it's genuinely one of the best purchases we've made. Delivery was quick and the team were great. The electric recline is smooth, only needs 10cm from the wall which was a lifesaver for our living room, and the drop-down table with wireless charging gets used every single night.
Looks good, feels solid, and for under a grand nothing else comes close. Highly recommend.

Italian Leather sofa is very cheap in…

Italian Leather sofa is very cheap in quality where colour/dye is gone in 3 to 6 months and heat pads not working. Despite complaint raised 5 months ago, made 1 attempt to fix but nothing resolved. Even today I am left with all 3 heat pads ( 2 seater and 1 seater) not working and on top of that top layer (dye) is ripped off and looking ugly. This has happened to just 3 to 6 months old sofa. Can't believe that. Their service is also very slow despite the insurance I bought which is very expensive too.

Disingenuous response from the company

Disingenuous response from the company. They stated publicly that they would contact me, but they have not done so. They have also failed to reply to my emails.
I would strongly advise others to research this business carefully. I also believe my previous review have been unfairly removed.

Interestingly, the company was able to contact Trustpilot within 30 minutes of me posting this review to request changes. However, over 24 hours later, they still have not made any attempt to contact me directly.
Original Review
The sofa was delivered around 11 months ago and initially everything seemed fine. However, after roughly 9 months it began sagging badly in the middle. It has now deteriorated to the point where the wooden frame can be felt through the cushions — something that should not happen on a sofa less than a year old.
I have attempted to contact the company multiple times over the past two weeks. I have sent two emails with no response. I have called and waited on hold for over 45 minutes on more than one occasion, only to hear a repeated “thank you for holding” message with no answer. I also reached out via WhatsApp and was advised to call — which I did — and again received no response.
At this stage, I have been unable to reach anyone through any communication channel. The lack of customer support is extremely frustrating and disappointing, particularly given the product has not lasted even a year.
I am also unclear on the structure of the business — whether products are drop-shipped or if they act solely as an intermediary — but the complete lack of accountability and response raises serious concerns.

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company, ordered a sofa which I another was delivered in a timely manner (delivered jan 2025). Noticed the heating had gone on all 3 seats beginning of november (obvoiusly wasnt that ceatire wasnt used during summer so could have gone before that), was directed to contact via WhatsApp so did just that, took over a week to reply to each message, even when I replied straight back, finally sent someone out mid December and all they done was take photos, all they did was send the 'replacement parts' nearly 2 months later, once I messaged to say they they have arrived iv had radio silence ever since apart froma generic email to say to call as busy (which they send everywhere including through Facebook messenger which they was still actively posting on), went to dividebuy who I paid through who are trying to sort their end but obviously ignoring them aswell as they've heard nothing! I want my money back as no faith in this company anymore, i will be seeking legal advice! completely shocking ecperience

URGENT COMPLAINT

STILL AWAITING REPLY FROM TECH SOFA, THEY CONTACTED TRUST PILOT WITHIN A DAY OF MY NEGATIVE REVIEW TO REQUEST ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WHICH THEY ALREADY HAVE, HOWEVER THEY HAVE NOT CONTACT ME. I AM SEEKING LEGAL ADVICE AND HAVE CONTACTED TRADING STANDARDS
Email of complaint with attached photographs sent to Tech Sofa on 3rd March regarding series 5 large corner sofa received at the end of June 2025. Electric recliner and heat function broken, severe sagging on the seats with wrinkles and creases that have not came out even after being assured they would dissappear in a few weeks after installation but what makes this matter even worse is that this sofa is in our movie room, it only gets used on weekends, god only knows what state it would be in if it was sat on daily. We have also taken out the extended warranty, however, the sofa is still under warranty with Tech Sofa as it is not even a year old. I have requested they come and collect the sofa and refund my money as this is an extremely expensive sofa which was supposed to last years and years. Visitors to my home have literally commented on the sagging seats and cannot believe the sofa is just over 6 months old, it is literally heartbreaking in our brand new room!! I have been completely ignored by Tech Sofa, not even an acknowledgement, therefore, my only option is to contact Trading Standards and the Furniture and Home Improvement Ombudsman to report Tech Sofa and if need be retrieve my money through a small claims court. Honestly disgusting customer service
