We were let down on a couple of occasions at the last minute by our purchasers, nothing to do with TBS but Kelly, Victoria and Jodie continued to stay professional and positive and as promised the sale completed.
Thank you ladies. Also Kate for the excellent mugs of tea!
If you’re looking for a friendly and professional team we would have no problem in recommending TBS in the future.

We have no hesitation at all in recommending Taylor, Brown and Simms. From start to finish, the whole team were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Sales details and photos were completed and the house listed on Rightmove in the agreed timeframe; viewings were well planned and follow ups with potential buyers prompt. Communication was very good throughout the whole process and whenever we needed to speak to a specific member of the team we were able to speak to them the same day. All in all they were a pleasure to deal with.

We initially met with Kelly (who was lovely from the get go). We decided to go with her as our Estate Agent rather than some of the big wigs because she clearly knew the area and being a smaller company, would be more accountable with the sales process. Plus she was a pleasure to deal with.

Initial set up was quick and painless. However, we had to do every single viewing ourselves which was not what we were looking for. I had mentioned this to Kelly and she said it due to viewings taking place out of hours (I would assume most do?). So ultimately it felt like we had paid over £1000 in fees to basically take some pics and create a listing. Something we could surely have done ourselves. We would have much preferred a representative of Taylor Brown & Simms to have done the viewings, out of hours or not. This is a big detractor for us as we expected this as per our communications when signing up.

Additionally, the solicitors recommended through them (Elliot Mathers) were a nightmare. Taylor Brown were not kept up to date which meant I had to organise things such as Key Drop.

The key drop was painful, I was stood in an empty office for 5 minutes shouting hello before a chap wandered in from the back. Not ideal with customers details all sprawled over the desks.

He turned out to be a bit of a numpty and 5 minutes of trying to get him to wake up, I just dropped the keys and left.

All in all, not terrible hence the 3*. Could definitely be better.

The team at Taylor Brown & Simms are a pleasure to deal with.

They were not pushy, but obviously have a job to do and are respectful that seeking your home is a big decision to make.

Once I agreed to proceed to market, they were efficient in getting photos, descriptions, etc. in order to provide me with the draft pack.

They worked hard finding a buyer and were proactive in their communications; both periodically up to finding a buyer and then at every stage thereafter.

There was a period of delay brought about by the buyer's solicitors. Again though, TB&S kept me informed and chased the solicitor frequently.

I don't generally have a high opinion of estate-agents, but TB&S are an exception. In my mind they (TB&S) set the bar which other estate agents should aspire to achieve.

Taylor Brown & Simms came highly recommended to us. We have experienced a friendly and professional approach where nothing was too much bother. It was a complicated sale and Kelly was a star, as were others in the office when Kelly was not available. She communicated with both ourselves and our buyer whenever required. She also communicated effectively with both our and the buyer's solicitors who didn't make things particularly easy... pushing them for answers when necessary and trying to make the process smoother. Taylor, Brown and Simms have recently sold my brother’s house for me and the whole team have been brilliant, especially Kelly . Living abroad might have made things awkward but they did so much extra for me. Checking the house regularly, putting me in contact with plumbers, house clearance and house cleaning firms.
