Tax Sale Support LLC was founded by Stephen Swenson and Shade Ferre in 2007. In 2016, they launched the membership program and website. If you are new to the program, a brief history about the company is very helpful.
Stephen and Shade are business partners with a long history together. The two have been best friends since the first grade, and grew up together in Cedar Hills, Utah throughout the 1980's and 1990's. In 1999, Stephen was introduced to tax liens and tax deeds for the first time. Naturally, he got Shade interested too. By 2003, the two were attending tax sales and purchasing investments. More importantly, they were continually learning and evolving.
In 2005, Stephen and Shade decided to create a tax sale training program for the public. The two believed in tax liens and deeds and set out to create the best training program available. Their unique perspective, and ability to simplify complicated property tax laws helped them achieve that goal. In 2007, Steve and Shade copyrighted their program and co-founded their business together.
For the next decade, they provided tax sale training exclusively through seminar companies. Steve and Shade trained tens of thousands of people over those years. Eventually, they came to realize that their seminar partners were far more interested in profits than the success of the students. The high cost of the training was always a concern for Steve and Shade. Neither Stephen or Shade grew up wealthy. They couldn't sit back and watch people spend their only available funds on the training. In 2015, Steve and Shade walked away from the seminar industry determined to find a better way to provide training and lists.
In 2016, Steve and Shade began offering their training directly to the public. I really enjoyed the Buying Tour
I really enjoyed the Buying Tour. The coaches were very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to educate and answer any questions the group had. What an amazing company with such down…
What an amazing company with such down to earth people. You find many companies teaching similar concepts with coaches who are making millions and act like it. The people here make you feel like family and truly want you to succeed and are willing to help in any way possible. We just finished the buying tour and were blown away. We learned so much about real estate in general not just tax sales and we’ve already won 4 vacant land deals so far with our coach, Mason. Now we know how to master and grow our own market and look forward to the year ahead and what we will be able to accomplish. This is much much more than a course and much better than any other course or mentorship I’ve ever done. It’s a full hands-on experience with a guide the whole way. Highly recommend!

Just spent the last four days learning…
Just spent the last four days learning about real estate investing and touring properties. Let me tell you .. these guys are the real deal.
The energy of the room was amazing the second I walked in and it never stopped. Everyone is SO caring and helpful in helping you learn. What I loved the most is that they help you hands-on and everyone is so humble and down to earth.

Keep Pushing, nothing happens in a day!!
I've been working at this for over 6 months. I've been doing everything I've been taught and wondering when I was going to get a property. I bought a vacant lot, but wanted to buy a house. I kept making offers but kept getting outbid. Today I just got notified I won the Top Bid on a Duplex in Illinois. I had to put on some glasses and reread the email. I got it , I bid 3 different times. It was a sealed bid auction. I'm so Excited, waiting to find out what's next. My trainer Michael is great, but when I need more encouragement I call Ann in the office, she Always Boosts my mood and makes my day. Thank you All.

January buying tour
I participated in the January buying tour and was blown away with the amount of information shared. Being able to walk through distressed houses to look at the kinds of repairs needed, the clues visible from the outside, and the options available was very valuable. There were also deep discussions about approaches to auctions, marketing properties and how to identify communities where good values can be found. Highly recommended.
