Well …….. don’t know where to begin!!

Our first experience of Tangelo and buying a car on line, Peter and I were extremely cautious and sceptical about spending so much money without physically seeing the car.

However ……. What a truly fabulous experience. Tom Davies our consultant was absolutely fantastic in every sense.

From the initial phone conversation Tom explained and talked us through Tangelo its market place and the assurance on an arm’s length purchase.

Suffice it to say our “deal” was done whilst we were looking after 7 of our Grandchildren, initially in the park then on the way to the pictures to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!!!! Tom was so patient and understanding it was brilliant with a number of laughs along the way.

The detailed video of the car we were potentially buying was unbelievable, in as much that the detail that Tom went into was far better than actually physically seeing it in a showroom.

Thereafter, Tom was on hand for anything we were unsure about, his attention to detail, professionalism, knowledge and courtesy was second to none.

Finally on the day of arrival our wonderful red Mercedes SLC arrived driven by a wonderful gentleman called Andrew who was booted and suited and extremely professional.

So ……. ANYONE who may be in doubt of buying from Tamgelo take our word for it please. It’s a most wonderful and enjoyable experience and there’s no pressure whatsoever from Tom who will definitely deserves to go far in the company.

I was looking for an almost new Volkswagen ID3 and Tangelo had three cars with just delivery mileage, registered in Jan 2023, all at a great price. But they are in Exeter, I am in London. But they dealt with a remote sale very well and extremely reassuringly. Rory was great, very helpful, and all the arrangements went well. Transferring all the cash to them before getting the car was a bit un-nerving - my bank app asked all sorts of questions and I was left wondering "am i doing the right thing?", but everything went smoothly, definitely above board, and the car was delivered on time by a very helpful driver, Martin, who gave me a very good demonstration of the car, before going off to catch his train back to Exeter. The car was brand new and exactly as we'd seen from the video demonstration.
There was a hubcap missing from one wheel. Rory and I sorted that out with my local VW dealer, Tangelo paid for the hubcap, and I had it fitted today.
So a good overall purchase, and well done Tangelo

An ethical company that are certainly customer based.
I dealt with Julian Hore who was excellent. Good product knowledge and from my first phone call to after the sale I experienced genuine enthusiasm and unfailing courtesy.
Also Tangelo appear to source the better end of the used car market.

The car was as advertised, immaculately clean. The service was friendly and efficient. However we bought a plug in hybrid and it wasn't charged, we had to drive 284 miles on petrol alone.

5 star service from start to finish, Tom Davies was probably the most helpful salesman I have come into contact with, very professional and went the extra mile to ensure I was a happy customer. I would (and have) recommended Tom and Tangelo to others

Tom and Emma, were very helpful and quick to respond to my enquiry and on answering and finding information out about the specific car I was interested in.
Tom went above and beyond in delivering my car to my home in pristine condition. He kept me updated and provided me with everything I needed. I viewed the vehicle on the Monday and it was on my drive by Wednesday.

This was our third time buying a car from this branch of Tangelo. We part exchanged our two cars and bought a new one. Tom was great throughout the whole process and couldn’t do enough for us. He was always friendly and professional, and could answer all our questions. I have recently purchased a 5 series BMW from Tangelo. All the team were very friendly and the communication and help from Elliott was very good. I was allowed access to the car without being pressured. The car was clean and well presented.

I was a little apprehensive purchasing a car online but I would definitely recommend Tangelo and buy from them again. The service I received from Rory and matt, was top notch. Found a car I was interested in.Had a phone call from Tom The next day.He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car and not just interested in a quick sale.He explained about Tangelo as a company and what they do and stand for.Viewed the car at it was immaculate as described.The sale was easy and professional.Also Emma was great and answered any questions I had about the finance. I had chosen a car I wanted from test drives but the ones available locally had engine warning lights on so I checked online and found the same car on Tangelo. The price was where I would expect for the age and type of car, and I spoke to Tom on the phone, he made me a video to show the condition of the car, and highlighted there were no engine warning lights on. I felt a little concerned about buying a car online but Tom was very helpful answering my many questions and emails before during and after the sale. The car was delivered to my house on schedule as described. There was one cosmetic flaw that was not visible on the video/ described to me and I messaged Tom about it and he arranged for the payment to a local garage to fix this for me, he was on holiday so got his manager Emma to make sure it went ahead as booked. Excellent customer service throughout my experience, I wish all companies were as straightforward and helpful! The car drives like a dream and actually I was pleased to find it had extra add ons that weren't in the advert like rear camera and blind spot detection. I have had the car 6 weeks now and still very happy with my purchase. If Tangelo has a car you want in your budget go ahead I'm sure you will be well looked after by the company as I was.
