Sadly we bought a car in January 25. For the first week everything was fine. Then we noticed that the performance of the car was getting worse.
Our garage advised us to take it back. Tangelo took it in and gave a courtesy car for the week. After the week was up our car arrived and apparently it had been sat at their garage and absolutely nothing had been done to it!! Totally disgusted.
This car has been nothing but trouble, and finally we have another one now.
I would not recommend this company.

Fantastic service from Luke. He answered all our questions in advance and provided an honest video of the car we wanted to purchase so we could make a decision in advance of a long drive. On the day, Luke and his manager, bent over backwards to get everything sorted for us including preparing the car at short notice for us to drive away that day. Overall, they made buying the car a fantastic experience and the car is exactly as they sold it to us.

I felt I was well taken care off and told everything I need to know about the car I had bought of you and felt everything so explained very well.

From the first phone call to the test drive and eventually buying the car . Ty and Steve were informative and great no pressure to buy.

The service was excellent. Steve was great with the paper work and very fast and responsive even when I wasn't. My Car purchase was very easy and I felt supported through out all the steps.

Everything very straight forward and to plan. The let down was that my car wasn’t ready as planned for pick up. Obviously the salesman Finn had left the car checkout to the last minute and realised the registration plate was missing. A huge and totally avoidable error as I was five minutes away from picking the vehicle up before I got a call. A customers car must be ready well before appointment. Hopefully lesson learnt.

I purchased a car from Tangelo which ended up not being right for me (nothing to do with the car). Steve made it his mission to find me one that suited me. He went above and beyond and found me a car that I love. The whole process was easy and Steve was always transparent about everything. I’d definitely recommend buying a car from Tangelo.

We purchased a used BMW 1 series from the Exeter branch of Tangelo today, and we were impressed with the service we received. Luke was knowledgeable, professional and friendly, and took the time to run through every aspect of the car with us. We were really pleased with the warranty and with the detailed service and preparation of the vehicle. The Tangelo team did a fantastic job of making a 10 year old car look almost brand new!

Great service, we turned up with no appointment to look at a car we had seen online. The car wasnt on the forecourt but they moved quickly to get the car down for us. We were fortunate enough that we were able to get to take the car away the same day with MOT arranged for another time, this has now been carried out. Service from first visit to now has been great and cant fault anyone. No pushing or hard sales!

Was to buy a audi qt from this company December 2025 messed about for weeks eventually told car was not road worth YO16ZNE low and behold just found out car was motd 25 th January this year is this car safe to drive or is this company total liars UPDATE this pathetic company never called me after replying that they would once I told them that there 5 star trustpilot is fake he replied he doesn't care about truspilot a company everyone should stay clear off

The Tangelo team were fantastic, I dealt personally with Finn, who was a breath of fresh air! Very knowledgeable, answered all my questions straight away, very patient, never tried to rush me, and even got the car I eventually decided on valeted and washed straight away so I could drive home in it the same day, one of the best traits of Finn, is he listens to what you are saying (and not just giving you the sales spiel)which nowadays is a nice surprise A++++ service
