Great product scooter

Great product scooter, swag 8. This is second purchase for my 13 year old daughter after purchased last year for my 9 year old son. Reasonable price and great customer service last year after I asked for grip correction on refurbish scooter. Company shipped correct one at no charge. This year I bought new because daughter wanted blue color but refurbish has had no problems.

The options for items for purchase

The options for items for purchase - new vs refurbished. The option of using Amazon for payment. Both options mentioned simplified making a selection and purchasing.
Also, I customer support quickly responded to a question on pricing.

This is absolutely one of the worst…

This is absolutely one of the worst products. I bought and paid for two e-bikes for my kids that I have not even had for six months. I had to send one back on warranty which cost me $100 and it's still came back and only ran for days. They have been stored indoors and both bikes have completely quit working within 6 months of purchase. And the customer service is just as horrible as a product. I would recommend every single person look for a different company to buy an electric bike. The batteries and the connection ports on these bikes are hideous and the customer service is not there to support their poor product.

Terrible customer service and warrenty

I bought a t6 outlaw and it said 1 year or 90 day warrenty. I was under the impression that I had a 1 year warrenty. So I paid almost $400 for some thing that broke down in 4 months and swagtron will not cover shipping or parts or labor. So now I will have to pay another $200 to get it shipped and fixed. Customer service is terrible. They offer no help. And then just hangs up without saying goodbye or anything. Will never buy another swagtron product.

Poor Customer Service

Bike is Okay, but customer service is very poor and the website sells additional warranty for $65 but no proper guidelines on how and where we can enroll and claim for issues that arise. I received wrong item and went through a lot of process to get it resolved. They are providing a return label but haven't helped me to arrange for a pick up service despite requesting many times with a genuine problem. It would be hard to return the product if you don't have a car since you have to drop it off at the mailing store.

Here was the email I sent to support after almost 2 months of fighting them for a broken product fresh out of the box:

I have never in my life contacted a company trying to get to corporate like this. Your system for replacements or repairs is AWFUL! The process my husband and I have had to go through for buying a FAULTY swagboard has been the worst experience for us for buying a product. Between arguing with the store to get a “proper” receipt to contacting THEIR corporate for help getting a copy, to being given the run around from your "customer support" for WEEEEEEEEEEEKS after sending pics emails videos etc.3 times - (apparently an email from corporate at Fred Meyer/Kroger wasn’t sufficient enough)

THEN we finally get an email ****with a response which was rude and the rep put (…..ANYWAY!) in response to me being frustrated****…and a return.
We found out we had to PAY $75 bucks to send the crummy product to you because it NEVER WORKED! So not only did we buy the malfunctioning board, that we never once got to even use…we were treated like hell, AND have to shell out MORE MONEY! This company is a scam and we have now had our sons birthday gift from the end of July NOT WORK, we have been treated horribly and had to give your company more money for something that wasnt even worth it to begin with.

YOU GUYS ARE AWFUL and at the bare minimum we deserve a respectful apology this is so unacceptable to treat people that put money into your business this way. I am speechless of what else to say I am so angry.

I would say thanks but we have nothing to thank this company for at the moment

So in response I got an “I apologize for troubles” email and then about 2 weeks later we got an email saying the product was in “queue”

NEVER AGAIN and I hope that people read this before purchasing from this company

I have an 11 year old that is hard on…

I have an 11 year old that is hard on everything he owns. Motorcycles, remote control cars, mountain bike, fishing gear, jet skis and many more activities he does I have not had this many issues with them like I have had with this hover board. He rides the hover board like a pro and I did a lot of research on what to buy and came up with swagtron. Well the first time I sent it in for repair was our fault with water damage. Cost me around 150 to fix. When it was returned to me supposedly fixed it had clicking noise and didn’t have the same feel as when new.
This second time was a lot wrong with it and seems nothing is covered by a warranty and they said water damage again and I know for a fact that there was no water while operating it. Well paid another 150 to fix for many thing’s wrong with it. Bought it for a Christmas gift 2022 and it is September 2023
(Sent in twice now)

Very disappointed with the situation and when it breaks again I will be looking for another brand to replace.

So if you want a hover board that can not ride hard this is the one for you. But if you want an off road ride I suggest looking at other brands.
