A good experience and great product.
I live too far away to have met face to face with Charlie but my experiences by text were excellent . He was extremely helpful and i am so pleased with my wheelchair. It is exactly as described, in fact, as good as new.

What a great company. They are very helpful and polite. They came and collected my fathers mobility scooter, serviced it and brought it back. They explained everything and the price was very good. Will defaintely use them again.

Absolutely love my scooter from Sunshine Scooters
Absolutely love my scooter,looks brand new TBH,and at a very reasonable price. Kept informed from beginning to end by Charlie,even sorted my log book with DVLA. Delivery also superb by their own very helpful driver,so no pallet to dispose of. All in all so very pleased and I couldn’t recommend Sunshine Scooters highly enough.

I was very pleased with the service…
I was very pleased with the service offered by Charlie at Sunshinescooters. The initial scooter I purchased was on test driving it at home was unsuitable. I contacted Charlie who without any questions or fuss offered to collect the scooter and refund me the purchase price. As I was searching the other scooters for sale on the site I saw TGA Breeze that would be ideal for me. I messaged Charlie and we quickly arranged for collection and delivery of the new scooter for the same day. The scooter arrived yesterday and I am delighted with it and very grateful for Charlie’s patience and understanding. I would fully recommend both Sunshinescooters and Charlie to anyone. Well done Charlie.

We seen sunshine scooters on ebay , and bought a scooter and it was brilliant, but it came up with a fault, and you can always judge a company with there aftercare service , and simply superb, they went above and beyond , Charlie who delt with the fault was truly amazing , they picked it up and kept informed throughout the repair and delivered it back to us ,
So if if looking for a mobility scooter give them a try you wont be disappointed

And it all went wrong
I thought I was on a winner when I came across Sunshine Scooters. The pre-sales advice and speed of answering emails was great, then sale price of the scooter I bought was good too.
So I made my purchase, it was delivered, that’s where it all went wrong.
On the day of delivery, taking it off the pallet and just driving it up the garden path to the shed, it’s rattling like no one’s business. It seemed to be a loose panel on the back, maybe knocked during delivery, I don’t know.
When the weather was next dry enough I had a look and found I could not get the battery cover panel to sit right, so contacted Sunshine Scooters for advice. After several emails they turned out to be pretty useless and I thought I had fixed it myself.
A short while later the rattle reappeared so I contacted Sunshine again but after a couple of emails they stopped responding!
Next issue, when I purchased, I was told that Sunshine would send off for the V5c log book in my name for me. Nearly 2 months now and no V5 has arrived. I contacted Sunshine, and have very little confidence that they actually sent off for one.
Such a shame as I had high hopes pre-sale and would happily have purchased again and recommended to the many disabled people I know, and groups I’m a member of.
Why do some companies insist on just taking the money and not caring?

5* ratings across the board apart from mine you say? Did you miss the 1* review you received on 29th April? Also please remember that most of your very few reviews are from customers that you know are happy and you've asked to review you.
At no stage did you cease communication via email, oh perhaps you could clarify, on 3/12/25 you asked for photos of the loose panel and lugs, I responded, and that the was last I heard from you, perhaps it got lost in the email system?
As for Sunshine Scooters resolving any concerns propmtly and professionaly, this has not been my experience. Especially telephoning me early on a Sunday morning when after you've seen and taken exception to my review!
Further Edit: It seems that if you leave a negative review for Sunshine Scooters, they will report you, beware
Ahh now the porkies begin: I quote the email I received from Trustpilot "sunshinescooters.co.uk has flagged your review for containing defamatory content"

We’re genuinely disappointed to read your review, particularly as you highlighted how positive your experience was prior to delivery. Providing clear advice, good value and ongoing support is exactly what we aim to do, which is reflected in our 5 star reviews across the board, aside from this one.
For clarity, we have responded to 17 separate emails from you regarding both the panel concern and the V5C process. At no stage did communication cease from our side. However, we did not receive a phone call to discuss matters directly, and we would have welcomed the opportunity to resolve this quickly via a conversation.
Regarding the reported rattle: the scooter was inspected prior to dispatch. Minor panel movement can occasionally occur during pallet transport. As you know, we offered support and guidance, and we remain happy to send an engineer to inspect the scooter if required. Additionally, within our 30 day return policy, we would have issued a refund had you been unhappy with the product. All of our scooters are also supplied with a 12 month warranty for complete peace of mind.
In relation to the V5C, this was submitted to the DVLA for reassignment from trade ownership. There are currently well-known delays at the DVLA for this process, which are unfortunately outside of our control once the application has been made. We understand delays can be frustrating, but this does not mean the paperwork was not submitted.
We certainly do not “take the money and stop caring.” Our full email history demonstrates continued engagement, and we remain willing to resolve any outstanding concerns promptly and professionally.

To clarify, correspondence did not cease on 03/12/25. We have sent emails to you since that date, and our records show continued replies to your queries. At no stage did we intentionally stop communicating. If any individual email was not received, that would of course be unintentional, and we would have responded had we been made aware.
With regard to the telephone call, we attempted to contact you in order to resolve matters quickly and constructively. The call did not connect successfully. Our intention was simply to discuss the situation directly, as we believe that is often the fastest way to reach a resolution.
We remain open 7 days a week specifically so customers can reach us easily, and we are always happy to speak by phone if preferred.
As previously stated, we are more than willing to arrange an engineer inspection under your 12-month warranty if the rear panel concern persists. The offer to assist with the V5C process also remains in place, and we continue to monitor this with the DVLA.
Our focus remains on resolving this professionally and ensuring you are supported.

Outstanding in every way!
This is one of the very best disability scooter suppliers anywhere, it's hard nowadays to sort the wheat from the chaff but Sunshine Scooters is exemplary in every way. Customer service was outstanding and Charlie kept me advised regularly about delivery, which was superbly organised and very fast, despite being in the hectic pre-Christmas period. The scooter itself was even better than described and in virtually new condition. What a very great pleasure it was to deal with such a genuine, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful outfit.
