Barres de toit achetees pour une volvo…

Barres de toit achetees pour une volvo V50.
Serrures antivol pas aisées à mettre en place et difficile à enlever lorsque l'on veut ôter les barres.
Une des clés s'est cassée dans la serrure lors du retrait.
Déçu de mon achat

Good quality - good comms

Have had two sets of bars now. No issues - would recommend.

Avoid these at all costs

Bought the roof rails recommended for my car for a tentbox, the SURT-957. Installed them just fine but then on first use of the tentbox the rails dropped on one side making them unsafe to use. Contacted Summit, sent in everything they asked for. Then they wanted me to put the rails back on the car to take more pictures, which is ridiculous. Then they offered to refund or replace them but only if i had the original packaging to send them back with. Awful company to deal with

Roof Bars

This company is incredible.

The roof bars arrived promptly, and when setting up, I realised that the instructions were personalised to my vehicle type. Clear instructions, easy to assemble, fantastic quality and not to mention reasonably priced!

Summer adventures in my roof tent have been made so much easier with your roof bars. Thank you, Summit!

Defective Parts & Poor Aftersales

Ordered the SURT-957 roof bars to use with a tent box. Order came with one missing component, and one defective component meaning that I could not use my roof rails.

I got in touch with the customer service team ASAP, and let them know about the issue. After much back and forth over several days, I ended up waiting 9 days for replacement parts to be sent to me. This resulted in a cancelled trip with the tent box.

All I have experienced is a complete lack of quality control and poor after sales support.

Very disappointing. Better off spending a bit more on Thule bars.

Whilst we understand that you were going away soon after the purchase and this caused pressure and frustration, please note that in order to rectify any issues, this can take time to be looked into further and for a resolution to be provided not only from ourselves but any other retail store. We note your first contact with us on 02/06 and the last part replacement was confirmed dispatched for you on the 08/06 where you'd already received the initial replacement part required prior to this on (05/06) - As we do not open over the weekends this can take a little longer to get an update. Due to the issue experienced, we did need to seek replacements for you via our technical team, which were dispatched immediately to yourself following the request, made on separate dates. We do feel that our communication with yourself was prompt and supportive during this issue and we're sorry that you feel this wasn't a positive experience shopping with us on this occassion. We fully take your feedback onboard and will work to make relevant changes in the future. Regards, SummitShop
