I was quite impressed with the Summerwood products. When I inquired about the sheds, I'd like to call mine a cabana, I had it shipped unassembled down to Candlewood Lake in Connecticut. When the lake froze, it was transported to my waterfront approximately 2 miles away and put on the shoreline. When the spring came it was assembled 100 feet above Candlewood Lake where it sits today. My cabana holds my patio furniture, cushions, gas barbecue grill, boating equipment and much much more and has a beautiful eye appeal sitting above the lake. More importantly, the sales people at Summerwood were very cooperative and made this all happened for me. My cabana is fully assembled, and is well constructed, pre-painted and looks mighty pretty to all those that pass by. It definitely enhances my waterfront property.
I highly recommend Summerwood products without any reservations whatsoever.

The quality of the products where amazing. Love the design and the final product.
An area to improve is the building guidelines. There were some materials that I don't know I had and other materials that I didn't use because I didn't know to use them.

The very best designs and the very best quality! Absolutely fabulous and these are the finest garden houses! I call it "my Villa! We are so very pleased with it!

Summerwood has a great online design tool that makes it so easy to customize, visualize and price their buildings. The quality and designs are five stars. My husband and I have built two cabanas. The provided instructions were clear and when we did call customer support for clarification they were available and quickly got us back to work. We are planning a move and will definitely buy another Summerwood for our next home.

A couple of years ago I desperately needed a workshop to accommodate my growing woodworking tool collection and hobby. I went onto the Summerwood web site and was amazed to find a great variety of "workshops" and all customizable in terms of size, finish, windows, doors and quality. I went into the Summerwood "store" and was immediately sold. With my level of competence I could have easily ordered a "build your own" from Summerwood plans and lumber but in the interests of time and lack of available space to work, opted for partially assembled kit.
The order arrived precisely on time and with the help of a couple of strong neighbors, the building was up in two weeks working part-time. I had only one construction question along the way, called the help line and had a call back immediately from one of the Summerwood people on vacation in Vancouver.
Of particular note the lumber was of superb quality and precisely cut. No waste at all but a few extra pieces of high grade cedar for other projects.

Now into the third winter, the workshop is completely dry inside, all the doors and windows fit beautifully. Would be happy to show my workshop to anyone contemplating a purchase.

I purchased and had Summerwood install the shed which was built into a deck under construction. They did an exceptional job of building it in one day and their quality of product and workman ship is so much better than other companies I have used. They make you feel like family at there show room and it’s a freindly process to place the order . Look forward to my next purchase and is the only company I would recommend in the future

My bunkie was ordered and built about four years ago, The manual at that time was not easy to read and understand, so I leaned on the customer service ( I believe Jim) a lot and he stepped me through everything--even late on a Saturday. Unbelievable service.

I believe the manuals are much improved today.

Great product, great help from the staff, assembly instructions were clear and complete. The quality of the lumber was excellent and cut to exact measurements. The shed visually enhances our property and we make a lot of use of it.
We needed some more siding a couple of years after the shed was built to build a small locker, the support staff were more than helpful in so arranging.

Great product! It was fun to design my little art studio online and then make it a reality. Summerwood folks were helpful every step of the way.

Would highly recommend using Summerwood for pre-fabricated structures, the quality is excellent, well thought out and very functional. Additionally, they supported my contractor's questions and concerns with consistency and experience based knowledge on how to solve problems that came up before and during the assembly process. Structure is still in excellent condition almost four years after installation and could not be happier.

No issues...delivered what they said they would, on time. Quality materials, on line help when we needed a few questions answered.

Summerwood was very professional at all stages of managing our order. We had good advice and suggestions for ventilation options responsive communication and a detailed quote. We found that it was helpful to design our shed online and then save the design so that ideas can be easily shared and revised. Our shed was constructed by Summerwood and the carpenter was excellent.

We love the finished product and appreciate the way Summerwood walked us through the process. Looking forward to using our new shed/studio for years to come. Seeing the Urban Studio in our backyard brings the realization of the value we added to our property. We would like to give a big thank you to the installation crew who did an awesome and professional job of completing the project along with the logistics and design team who were on top of every detail.

Took too long to receive, the shipping process was stressful and chaotic with continued changes to delivery time/day and the threat of $100 an hour if the truck has to wait on us, (and while the driver couldn’t “help us” he certainly asked my husband to help him move products for other customers from the back of his truck to the front), even more disappointing us that half of our instructions missing (nothing for roof or porch assembly) so we are in the middle of the project and have to stop until someone at summerwood gets back to us, no hardware to attach the porch railing and posts, and when we called the “support line” which is represented as available 7 days a week, no one answered, rather was sent to someone’s voicemail. Disappointing because the product itself is really nice.

Every one was very helpful from the time i was ordering till the time i was finishing the build. Every step of the way everyone was there to help and give advice when needed. The quality of the product was first rate. Thanks again for everything.

We absolutely love our new Summerwoood bunkie but unfortunately cannot say the same about the buying experience. We ordered a model very similar to the show model and were really surprised to receive the show model - without the changes we had requested. When we let the salesperson know of the mistake, he insisted that the mistake was ours, that we had in fact ordered the show model. After much frustrating back and forth, we did get a small rebate from the owner. Great product, not a great sales experience!
