It was terrible and I think the instructor was drunk, I’ll never go back

I completed paediatric first aid training in Worthing at the beginning of November. Laurence the trainer was very informative and interesting, as well as being entertaining and endeavouring to make the training enjoyable. He was kind, approachable and full of wonderful anecdotes. I thoroughly enjoyed what could’ve been quite a long and overwhelming training, with a less personable trainer.

We had a First Aid training as Medical Students at UoL. Our trainer was Issy Savin and she was really interactive and fun. I will never forget what she taught because of her delivery.

Linda Jamson was amazing. It was fun , engaging , informative and very easy to work with her.
She explained everything in such a easy way for everyone to understand.

Great training from St John Ambulance!

I attended a 3 day first aid course this week at the Farnham branch. Our course started with our instructor Holly P. but unfortunately she had to leave on the first day due to a family emergency, the remainder of the course was delivered by Denise M.
Both instructors demonstrated great passion and energy for the subject and both extremely friendly and professional during the entire course duration.
The course was well balanced with both theory and practical elements covered with plenty of opportunity to ask questions when needed.
I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to understand the duty of a first aider and learn some literally life saving skills. I hope I do not have to use these skills in real life but now feel I could respond to a situation if required both at my workplace and at home.
I really think this sort of training should be part of the school curriculum.
A huge thank you to all St John Ambulance members, you are superstars!

Pediatric first aid training

I can not fault this course and training I attended in Liverpool. A huge part of this is down to Rossanna. The most interesting, compassionate and professional person I've ever come across. Not only did she ensure all topics were covered but we got some extra useful information too. She know just how to lift the mood on those topics that are hard to talk about.
On a more personal level I've never felt so looked after during the course. I am a new mum who was very anxious about leaving her baby. Rossanna really supported me through this and I don't think I would of made it through the day without her. Thank you so so much for your time, knowledge and kindness.

I was attending First Aid At Work course with Sami Atkins on 23-25th August 2023 our great teacher at Canary Wharf venue (CA House, 1 Northey St, London E14 8BT)
This was excelent course, very interesting, informative and easy to undestand the information given.
It was enjoyable and very good course including theoretical and practical same as assessments of what we learned over 3 days. Courses like this coud save someones life if more people would attend trainings like this.
I highly recommend for more people to do course and gain knowledge with excelent teacher like Sami Atkins.

I attended a 3 day first aid training course in Putney from 19th - 21st June. Jay and Lydia were both excellent trainers, a testament to SJA. Their knowledge and experience was clear and helped to make the training an engaging and enjoyable experience. I would recommend both them and this course highly.

Attended the 1 day Emergency First Aid course at Colchester. Bob Byers was an amazing trainer, able to teach in a relatable way and keeping the group engaged whilst packing in all the vital skills we would need to help in emergencies. I recently completed my 3-day training with St. Johns Ambulance and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially for a person in a place of employment to complete this training. The course was informative, interactive and knowledgeable. I completed my training at the Oldam Venue and Katie the trainer was confident, supportive and had made the training enjoyable.
