I rang Mark after my dog Bruno was given the diagnosis of megaosophagus. A Bailey chair was needed. Mark was the only person in the UK that sold these special chairs. He went above and beyond to get this chair made the day after the phone call to arrange and delivered in person the day after making it. Such a quick and friendly service making life so much easier for Bruno. Thank you so much!

We needed a bailey chair for our dog, who has a very serious health condition and Mr Hannah made and delivered it for us within 4 days or ordering. He personally delivered it today, 3 or 4 days earlier than originally scheduled. Would highly recommend this professional and kind gentleman's work.

We got a custom made crate for our Cockapoo Ralph. Mark was brilliant, created it exactly to the dimensions and door opening we wanted and delivered it to our doorstep ahead of schedule. We painted it white to match and stained the top to match our furniture and it looks amazing. The cost was very affordable, £600 less than the next cheapest we got a quote from with other companies charging even more than that. Highly recommend!

We collected the indoor kennel yesterday. It looked so good in the hallway I cracked on with waxing it with pet friendly wax.
Dog loves it too. To our surprise he went in it straight away, even without a treat!
The build quality is great, Mark making the kennel exactly to spec and keeping me updated along the way.

I contacted Mark for a bespoke sized dog crate for our bedroom. We were looking for a nice piece of furniture, rather than a bog standard crate - we were not disappointed! The finish and quality is brilliant and the sliding door is just what we were looking for, rather than tripping over the open door all the time! Communication from Mark was great, keeping me updated all the way through the process. The crate was hand delivered with so much care, which you can also see in the craftsmanship. Fantastic quality and made exactly to specification. I wanted oak crate to match in with our lounge and the crate is perfect - acts as a side table as well as doggie home. Mark was brilliant keeping me updated with progress. Super helpful. Fully recommend.

I recently ordered a Bailey chair from Mark at Starskys Hutches and Garden Arches. I have a dog with Megaesophagus so its important he is fed upright to enable his food to go down. Mark absolutely delivered! we've used the chair today and it works brilliantly, we gave Mark the measurements and the chair is the perfect size for our dog, its easy to use, durable, and lightweight so can be moved around the house. From start to finish Mark was super efficient, he called to double check everything, and in less than a week he delivered the chair personally keeping me updated every step. Last week my dog was diagnosed with megaoesophagus which came as a complete shock. Who has ever heard of this condition before their dog suddenly has it?? Not many people.
The vet mentioned something about Bailey chairs and these being hard to get hold of in the UK.
After a little bit of research I found Mark, he was selling on different sites (eBay, Etsy, Facebook etc) and seemed genuine.
I sent an enquiry on Thursday evening, he came back straight away and we had a discussion on the phone. I asked him to make me a Bailey chair as soon as he could and by Saturday it was made, ready to deliver to me on Sunday. Mark travelled from Mansfield to London early Sunday morning to deliver it personally before 8am! This is astounding customer service.

The chair itself is made impeccably. Good quality materials, nicely finished with no rough edges and designed with a dog in mind. Totally practical.
I wondered why he didn't provide padding on the chair as it looks fairly basic but I have quickly realised that it's better to use your own padding of whatever kind to suit your own dog's shape and needs.
Now I am in the process of acclimatising my dog to use the chair.
I'm delighted with the service Mark provided, from the friendliness and helpful approach with advice, right through to delivery of a quality product in record time (as the chairs are custom made for each dog).

I cannot even explain my happiness in the product Mark made for us. We adopted a puppy with Megaesophagus and we quickly found out that we needed what’s called a “Bailey chair” to feed him in to literally Keep him alive. As this isn’t a well documented illness for dogs in the UK there are very limited places to get them. I couldn’t find one, then I stumbled across starsky’s hutches! I am so pleased that I did!

Mark was so helpful and explained in great detail the measurements I’d need to take from my puppy, he fast tracked my order because he knew it was to save a life and he delivered it to me to get it here as quickly as possible! What a truly amazing man! The quality of his product is OUTSTANDING and I’m just so thankful I found him! Just would like to say what a lovely chap I met and his work was outstanding. I was very impressed with the extra thought he put into the box for the safety of the owner and the pet. I definitely would recommend him as overall he's reasonably priced and the job gets done on time 👍

I found Mark after searching for hand made dog crates online. I didn’t like the standard wire ones and wanted something a little different. I called Mark after seeing some of his crates online. He took the details and sizes and started work on it that day, sending me pictures of the progress. It was delivered by Mark the following day. I absolutely love it. It’s amazing and so different. Incredibly sturdy and really well made. Well worth the money. Excellent work and incredible customer service. I would definitely recommend this business and will use Mark again in the future.

This was a purchase we wanted as we had space under counter the dog crate was but wanted it to be more in keeping with the new kitchen units. We found Mark’s site and saw a style we liked with sliding doors but not the std dimensions quote. I called Mark who was so helpful and knowledgeable and when I said these are my dimensions he was happy to draw up a rough plan which he sent to me and we agreed on a design that was best and agree on a two door opening at the front of the cage. So happy with his craftsmanship and customer service. He even delivered it assembled. Fantastic , Fastastic ,Fantastic.

He was so kind and understanding, and after receiving her measurements Friday evening, he made the chair yesterday and then did a 300 mile round trip today to deliver the chair. The chair is well made and sturdy. I am so thankful to Mark for making and delivering the chair to us so quickly.
