many thanks for the 5 stars and feedback. I do hope the frame and headlight protectors give you many years of good service - both are built to last with great quality materials. I have never knowingly had to send a customer a second set of frame protectors so they should last the life of the bike!

I spent over 2 years researching and producing this product and firmly believe the gear will never wear out. Stick to raising and lowering the screen at less than 50mph/80kph and the cables should last too!

Screen has many scratches on it not…
Screen has many scratches on it not what I expected for a new screen
I expected the item to arrive in top condition it didn’t (you only get one chance for a first impression ) .I did inspect it but its clearly machine polishing scratches
And not me using a cloth with grit in it . As for fitting it i had no choice as i was on a tour the next day for 2 weeks . I’m not getting into emailing and sending things back and fourth i expect the item to arrive in perfect condition first time .Im disappointed in your tone as you seam to be pushing the blame on my side and not a clear failure on your inspection process before dispatching . I have over 40 years of motorcycling experience and have bought probably over a 1000 parts for motorcycles and this is only the second time i have ever reviewed a faulty part as life is too short . I only reviewed this time as i was expecting a better product as indicated by the ST1300 forum where I asked what is the best screen people are using . I’m not interested in contacting you to solve the issue as i am not keeping the bike

And you clearly dont understand why i had to fit the screen ? I will explain it to you its very unpleasant riding a ST1300 without a screen for 2 weeks so i had no choice .The screen fits perfect so its usable but the quality is very poor due to the machine polishing scratches all over it . I suggest maybe a visit to spec savers may help with quality control ? . You do display the attitude of a one man band company i feel your are quite aggressive in your reply a more professional company would have apologised and tried to make amends . Unfortunately i cannot attach a picture to show the scratches but be rest assured i wont be using your company again and will not be recommending any of you products in future

This is the first I have heard of this.
I don’t send out any screens with scratches on them, why on earth would I? They are polished by the manufacturer as part of the end process and I give them 2 inspections, the first when I receive them and the second immediately prior to shipping.
It is unbelievable that you would fit a screen with visible scratches/damage so why not call or email me to discuss and show me the damage on receipt?
I respectfully suggest that the scratches may ( repeat may) have been caused by wiping with a cloth which had grit or hard deposits on it. Another possibility is it was damaged in transit but that would have been evident by damage to the box and I should have thought that would have given you more reason to carry out a thorough inspection.
In any respect, the 30 day unconditional return for any product, damaged or not, is clearly stated on my site and it beggars belief that you A, didn’t inspect the screen or B fitted a damaged product.
I’m sorry for your experience but what would you have me do if you don’t inform me?

I don’t want to get into a public fight over this. I have made my point clear and if I seem to be “pushing the blame on you, rather than a failure of my inspection process” consider this .. I am adamant that I sent out a screen without scratches whilst you freely admit that you fitted a screen with scratches for no compulsory reason apparently? Pre your tour, your screen was seemingly suitable?
FWIW, 52 years motorcycle experience and over 5000 items sold on my site in my last 8 years of owning Bike-Quip and only 4 reviews that are not 5 star? Perhaps we can only agree to disagree and I mean no offence my defence.
This will be my last public word on the matter.

Great Product - Great Supplier
