Bike-Quip 20" Clear Wide Screen
I have recently purchased a Bike-Quip screen for my bike. I purchased the 20" clear wide screen.
So let's start from the beginning, I researched several different screens online. Some of them were very expensive and required import from the USA. Others not so expensive, but receiving varied reviews. At the end I came to the conclusion that the Bike-Quip screen was for me. I contacted Steve via his website for a little advice on sizing options, not expecting a reply until the following day. But to my surprise a email reply arrived very shortly after mine had left. So I can testify to the other reviews on trust pilot, that Steve's communication is great and has been all through the purchasing process.
The screen arrived nicely packaged, with the packaging in good order having transited the courier system.
The screen as you would expect was in first class condition. Steve even emails you with advice on opening the package, just so on the off chance you wanted to return the screen, it can be done without hassle, less the cost of postage.
Swapping the screen out was a simple process, helped by Steve's instructions, just to make sure you've covered all the bases.
Out on the road test for several hours the screen performs its job splendidly. I was apprehensive that on the lowest setting I might not get the benefit of some nice cool air through my visor. I'm 5'10" and with the screen on the lower settings achieved a nice stream of air into my open visor, lovely. The screen also does a lovely job of diverting flies and other bugs away from your helmet . The screen itself was plastered in greenflies, which I'm not concerned about as that is part of its purpose.
Am I happy with my purchase, I definitely am.
On a side note my bike came with Bike-Quip handlebar riser, that is another first class product.

I have sold hundreds of these screens over the years and one thing they all have in common is the extra protection from the flip up. If you ride in all weathers that certainly makes a huge difference to comfort and staying dry.
The bar risers too, although not purchase by you, are an excellent quality item which definitely helps with manoeuvring in town and in easing stiffness on the long rides too. I am sure that both products will give you many years of great service and if there is anything else you might fancy, you know where to look! Thanks again Peter.

Steve is the most amazing man, he helped me through every step of purchasing and eventually sending my parts to him for fitting as I wasn't sure I could do it, I purchased new blocks, cables and gear, they are all so well made and work so much better than stock. He was very patient with me especially as I was taken unwell so I couldn't communicate for a few weeks, top bloke and top products

I am glad you liked the crash bars and indeed they will protect those very expensive pannier lids in the event of the machine ending up on its side. You really don't need to test them though as others have already done so!

Hi Duane, these kits are a big seller and I am really please I was able to identify and address the issue and having just seen the cost price of a new mech (which will also fail in time) at over £1000 on the CMSL site, I know the modest investment was well worth it.
Keep the speed under 50 mph if you are raising the screen and the cables will last you forever!
