After a year of careful and thorough researching, we had decided to give the job of building our dream campervan to Spartan Campers in Coventry. We have visited the showroom twice now and have to say that each time we have been totally blown away by the quality of the work they do and the attention to detail. All the staff that have dealt with us have been professional and patient whilst we ask many questions and there isn’t a corner of the workshop that they haven’t been happy to show us. No pushy sales just helpful opinions and knowledge. True craftsmanship and passion shown at all stages of the build. Can’t wait until handover day to meet my finished Spartan

Fantastic handover! It was great to see the whole process of Spartan conversions. Mark went out of his way to answer our endless questions and gave us lots of top tips. Excited for our first adventure next weekend and yes we did sleep in the drive the first night 😊

When we collect our Campervan, we were made to feel very welcome and she was prepared to an extremely high standard and looked amazing. Kevin was very accommodating and straight from the off, stated that there was no rush and spent the next couple of hours going through all the paperwork and every part of how our new Campervan worked. He was very thorough, and constantly reiterated that if we didn’t understand something, he would go through it again. All in all a great experience and made the start of owning a Spartan Campervan, very special.

From our first meeting with Joe and the team at the Malvern Show, we have been delighted with the service and quality provided by Spartan Campers. We recently collected our camper van and were given a thorough handover by Mark, who was polite, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Every member of the Spartan team has been brilliant.

Couldn't recommend this company enough. We went not knowing much about VW campervans and came away with so much knowledge. Mark took us around the workshop and gave us all the information we needed, without being pushy. The experience felt genuine and not salesy at all. The conversions are beautiful, we fell in love with a campervan but unfortunately the timing just wasn't right for us. Again the team were understanding and gave great customer service. Will hopefully be returning in the future!

Spartan Campers are a fantastic company. From beginning to end we have had amazing service. They are a very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and exceptional company. Everybody we have met have been great and nothing is too much trouble. The camper itself is beautiful and we cannot recommend Spartan Campers enough!

The company representatives were very knowledgeable helpful and explained everything right down to showing you how to use the items in the Campervan when collecting. They looked after us from the time of enquiry to picking up the vehicle. They even offered to collect us when we arrived at Coventry excellent service couldn't fault them.

Having come across Spartan at the Newbury Motorhome show, I knew this was the only supplier where I wanted to buy my future campervan from. Their build quality and design blew all the other suppliers out of the water. We made an impromptu visit to their Coventry showroom in early July and I collected my beautiful squirrel grey van early August. The whole way through the process all the staff we have dealt with have been courteous, professional and are clearly proud of their product (and rightly so). A couple of teething issues were very quickly sorted by Fraser and I am confident that should I ever need them for any help or advice in the future they will be there for me. Their facebook group is full of friendly other Spartan owners who are always on hand to offer advice based on their own experiences. I'm so glad we went to that show and found them!

An amazing experience from start to finish purchasing my Spartan VW campervan. The quality of Campervans this company produces are absolutely amazing. The thought that has gone into the production is second to none. Built by professional Campervan people for Campervan people. In an arena where there are many players, not all teams are equal. Spartan sits head and shoulders above the rest with a perfect combination of both personal and professional touch. We used Spartan’s source and convert service for a low mileage T6.1 Highline DSG with barn doors and spent a very pleasurable day in Coventry choosing every aspect of the interior and exterior of the van. Joe and Kevin were absolute stars and no question was too daft and no request too much trouble. We received continual updates with photos throughout the build, which was incredibly exciting (and a bit scary!). Handover day came and the entire clan (Mr, Mrs and Sons 1 & 2) descended on Coventry to collect. We were met at the station by Kevin in nice cool car (it was boiling outside) and after a short drive we arrived at Spartan. As we walked towards the showroom Kevin proudly announced “There she is!” and we were absolutely blown away. Parked across the entrance was all our hopes and dreams realised, a truly beautiful camper in two tone candy white and receda green (who will now be known as Davina) Decent coffees all round were next, before two tours of the van, split between Joe and Kevin, who were only just a little less excited than we were! A truly wonderful experience with Spartan, from our very first meeting at The Newbury show, to waving goodbye as we pulled away. If you are considering a purchase, you will not find anywhere else that offers such a complete and well rounded service as that which we have received from Spartan!

We first had a visit at end of June 25. Spartan staff were lovely. We even got a ice cream as it was a hot day. We picked a van that we liked that was ready to go. So we came back to collect a week later. We collected 07/07/2025. Handover was informative.
Conversions are lovely really high quality finish.

Been on about getting a camper here for years so I cashed in a pension some months ago paid the deposit and drove from Cornwall to Coventry to pick the spec etc but sadly just into it all going through the finance company said no to finance on the van although we were putting down over 10 grand so since we got a no I messaged spartan they read the message and not one of them have called to see what we can now do or even offer our deposit back! I ended up buying a new car and we thought as the mrs has like 5 pensions we would do the camper thing next year instead but feeling a little pissed about spartan to tell the truth and would we pick them next year

From initial enquiry through to handover the team at Spartan Campers have been excellent. It’s good to meet people at a company who want to continuously improve their products and to learn. Thank you.

I have been dreaming of owning a VW campervan for years and Spartan have truly blown me away from the first phone call to collecting Fri 6 June. I went down to Coventry from Lincoln and was able to get a tour of the workshop and meet the team and discuss the final part of the build. Spartan have really nailed it absolute professional build and by far the best i’ve seen. The quality is exceptional and along with warranty/assistance and a full service before you drive away which includes a cam belt change who can beat that. Thanks to the whole team for exceptional service and professionalism. Don’t look anywhere else for your camper visit the website make a call you won’t be let down.

Picked up my converted campervan mid may from Spartans. Everyone i have dealt with from Day 1 (Kevin, Jay, Fraser) have been very helpful and professional from the initial sourcing of the van, building the spec to the handover. The quality of workmanship by the whole team is exceptional. I would highly recommend spartan Campers to anyone looking at a conversion.

Wow, What an amazing professional service we've had with Spartan campers, from there stand at Newbury motor home show to the hand over. No pushy sales, just great knowledge and information about there product and camper van conversions. We felt in great hands in choosing our dream van from Spartan, We were picked up from the local train station and we meet and also made welcome by the Spartan team, professional hand over with Jay ( Well done mate ) and then our journey and Adventures begins. From our first visit to Spartan Campers, there was no pressure to sell to us. We were shown round the build facilities which was great, then after coffee we discussed our van requirements. We visited several times to discuss any issues and they always had time to discuss different ideas with us. After changing our minds several times regarding the van spec, we settled on the way forward.
Having dealt with most of the Spartan team - Joe, Kevin, Lee, Mark, Fraser, Jay who are all very passionate about what they do and sharing their knowledge and experience to novice campervaners. They happily took on the challenge to source specific items for our van which was not common on any other builds.
They would frequently communicate with us over the period of the build to update us on the van's progress.
On the day of collection we had a complete walk round of the camper to explain in detail the Do's and Don'ts which was very useful
Everyone was incredibly helpful and never an issue to go out of the way to accommodate our every need, even at late stages of the build when we found out that a tracker needed to be installed for insurance purposes.
Would definitely recommend to family and friends for the excellent service we received.

After dreaming of owning a camper van for years, then spending a few years researching companies, whilst following Spartans, we finally made the leap—albeit under heartbreaking circumstances. When Hubby was diagnosed with incurable cancer, we knew we had to change our lifestyle and focus on making meaningful memories. Purchasing our camper van felt like a big step towards that.
