We’ve got solar panels on our roof above our bedroom & I was at my wits end with sleepless nights with noisy, nesting pigeons who were multiplying. Rory responded quickly to my plea for help ! He carried out a thorough site visit & then came quickly to remove & put grates up. He didn’t need scaffolding which saved money & has done a brilliant job. We are extremely grateful to Rory & cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you Rory!

He was very pleasant efficient and professional in explaining the work he would carry out and showing us the materials he would use. He also cleaned our solar panels and sent us photos showing before and after cleaning.

Rory was great from start to finish. Very knowledgable, prompt to respond and only uses scaffolding when he absolutely has to (he abseils otherwise). Would highly recommend. Other companies were quoting more and potentially fitting equipment that would invalidate the warranty on the panels themselves. Rory had clearly thought through everything and did a fantastic job.

Project Solar asked for £950 to set up the scaffolding, Rory didn’t require one. Setting up the bird protection itself was £50 cheaper. It took him only 2.5 hours to cover 12 panels. 10-year warranty included.
I learned a lot about birds (especially pigeons) from Rory. His attitude is great.

Thanks to his comprehensive climbing experience and fitness, he made working on our solar panels look both simple and safe. He explained every step and documented the results, answering any question very patiently. His politeness and friendly personality made for a very pleasant experience.

I cannot recommend Rory highly enough.
An absolute professional who clearly takes great pride in his work. At all stages he kept me fully informed of what he would do, how he would do it and the materials he would be using. No scaffolding was required, and he worked diligently and tidily. The quality of the finished product is excellent - as he promised, the pigeons are gone; he "gave us our house back".
As others have said, he is also a really interesting guy to talk to - we even got on to philosophical side of pest control! Thank you very much.

He was very clear on how the birds would be handled according to the pest control regulations. I was impressed from our initial phone conversation and could tell that Rory was a true professional. The price quoted was extremely competitive and we decided to go ahead with bird protection for our relatively new solar panels, that had now become home to some unwanted pigeons!

The advantage of using Rory, is that he is an expert climber, and carried out the work with ladders, ropes and harnesses so scaffolding isn't necessary, helping to keep the cost down significantly!! A neighbour contacted Rory about her newly installed panels to install pigeon guards. He was also fortunately able to assist me at the same time as i had 4 unprotected panels at the front of my house where the pigeons had set up home.
I was very impressed with Rory's professionalism, his knowledge and expertise. He even gave me a detailed account of the life cycle of pigeon and his view about a new breed of pigeons which are learning to adapt to life underneath the panels!!
I was extremely happy with the service and the guards which are proving to be very effective.

We had trouble with doves nesting under our 14 solar panels. Although lovely birds they can damage the cables under the panels and they also made a lot of mess on our patio. I chose Rory to put mesh around the panels as he had very good reviews and his quote was very competitive. I was not disappointed as he did an excellent job. He came on the agreed day and time. He put the mesh using ladders and harnesses, so no need for expensive scaffolding. He is very knowledgeable about the birds and explained what he was doing step by step. He also cleaned the gutters which were very dirty. His work comes with a 10 year guarantee which is a bonus. I thoroughly recommend Rory to anyone who need their solar panels protected. In addition he is also a very polite and pleasant man.
