My solar panels started having a lot of pigeons hanging around under them, causing mess and noise and I really started to worry about the mess and long term damage to the panels.

After searching around the internet help indefeating the pidgeons, I came across Rorys site solar protect. The web site gave me hope of the solution to my nesting birds.. and Noise..I emailed Rory for a quote to sort my problem out, and he immediately came back to me within 1 day for a solution and cost.
I was Priveledged to meet Rory on my return from work as a buildings manager and he impressed me with his can do attitude. Rory has the skills and knowledge to perform an expert job in proofing solar panels.

Having inherited solar panels that had no bird proofing and consequently lots of birds, it was a bit of a struggle to find a) a company that wanted to do the work b) a company that wanted to do the work without automatically saying the job needed scaffolding and so almost doubling the cost. As another person wrote: "if you need your panels pigeon proofed, Rory is your man" and I can only second and emphasise that. From first contact Rory tells you what he is going to do, how he is going to do it, the materials he will use, and tells you all about the General Pest Control Licence that is applicable. He arrived exactly on time, talked me through the entire process, removed the nests (with eggs) and very neatly applied the mesh to ensure that nothing can get under the panels. He gives a ten year guarantee on his work which indicates his confidence in his skill, his materials and the high level of his work. He also cleared far more of the gutter than he needed to. So, if you need someone to stop pigeons getting under your panels contact Rory - you will not be disappointed.

We have 14 solar panels with pigeons nesting under them. Rory was recommended to us to remove them, their nest and install bird proofing. He was excellent from first contact onwards. He clearly explained everything involved and delivered as promised. He removed the nest, and tidied up the solar panel wiring the birds had dislodged, before installing the netting. Not only that, he cleared an over grown section of guttering whilst he was up there and reconnected another section that had come apart. Top man! He's also given us a 10 year warranty. The birds have gone and we're very happy. Highly recommended!
