Great service from mo super helpful

The sales person in the Leicester Fosses Park store was very good, answered all questions adequately and didn't push a sale was genuinely looking at making sure we knew what we were buying.

Really lovely, patient bunch of sales staff at the Leicester Fosse Park Store. Brad, Bradley, Mohammed, all so patient with us while we looked over the course of 4 days, to pick our new recliner sofa. We were also approached by numerous other staff, in a none intrusive manner, to see if we needed help. Knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you.

The shop assistant was very helpful and polite. He was very patient with us as we were quite picky in choosing. Gave us some great advice too.

Excellent service

We had a great buying experience. Staff were around and offered help if required but left us to browse until we requested specific help. The sales advisor was knowledgeable and pleasant, with no hard sales approach. Sofas are yet to arrive but we have purchased from Sofology previously and have been happy

We visited the store with the intention of buying a foot stool to match the sofa that we bought from you earlier in the year. We couldn’t believe it when we saw the exact one at a reduced price. Thanks to the salesman who helped us

Professional, friendly stress free experience.

I am writing this review complaining regarding the unacceptable customer service my partner and I received during our visit to your Fosse Park, Leicestershowroom on Saturday 15th August .
We visited your store with a strong intention to buy. After looking at various options, we found a sofa we loved. A salesman assisted us, and we explicitly showed our interest. We were initially drawn in by the advertised two-week quick delivery, but after finding out to are disappointment that our preferred colour would take 12 weeks, we decided we liked the sofa enough to wait.
Unfortunately, our experience deteriorated rapidly from that point due to the following actions by your salesperson:
Hidden Extras: When working out a three-year finance plan, the salesman's calculations seemed incorrect. Upon closer inspection, we discovered he had added several expensive extras we never requested, including a tilting headrest. He only removed them after I questioned his calculations
Faulty Clearance Alternative: He then suggested we could buy the same sofa in our preferred colour for £200 cheaper from the clearance section. However, when we inspected it, we discovered the built-in electrics did not work.
Abandonment of Sale: After rejecting the faulty clearance item, we walked back downstairs to proceed with ordering our original, brand-new choice. At this exact point, the salesman completely disappeared. He abandoned us mid-transaction and showed zero interest in completing the sale.
We left your store feeling incredibly disappointed and frustrated by this deceptive and dismissive behavior. As a direct result of his poor customer service, we took our business elsewhere and purchased a sofa from a competitor that same day.
We will certainly not be recommending Sofology to family or friends.

You have a good range to choose from but to be honest I what made the experience first-class was Gareth the Sofology Expert. Gareth was, polite, friendly and not at all pushy. He knew when to help and when to give us space. He engaged with all members of our party. As a sales trainer I hate being sold to but Gareth’s personality and sales technique was spot on! In our opinion Gareth is an asset to your business.

We found the settee and chair we wanted suitable for us and ordered, but could not get a sample of the fabric, which was disappointing.

The sales man was a very bright, helpful knowledgeable man.

⭐ 1 STAR — THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD

Avoid Sofology at all costs.

I ordered my sofa in April and waited more than 10 weeks for it to arrive. When it was finally delivered, it was completely different from what I had ordered. It had two different textures and included the wrong parts.

After I contacted Sofology and explained everything, they told me they needed to conduct an internal investigation to determine whether the mistake had been made by me or by the store. They eventually confirmed that the mistake was entirely theirs.

They arranged to collect the incorrect sofa and place a replacement order for what I had originally requested. Incredibly, despite the error being theirs, they demanded that I pay an additional £150. I paid it because I simply wanted the correct sofa and for this nightmare to be over.

I then waited more than another 10 weeks for the replacement. When it finally arrived, it was filthy and covered in marks. After waiting months because of their original mistake, I could not believe they had delivered a sofa in that condition. I rejected the delivery immediately.

Sofology saw the photographs and knew exactly what condition the sofa was in. At that point, I had completely lost confidence in them and requested a full refund. However, I am still waiting for my money to be refunded.

It is now almost five months since I originally placed my order. Sofology has kept my money throughout this entire nightmare, while I have been left without the sofa I ordered and have had to make call after call trying to resolve their repeated mistakes.

There are so many other problems and frustrating conversations that I cannot even include them all here without writing three pages.

What shocks me most is the complete lack of remorse, urgency or genuine customer care. They made the original mistake, charged me another £150 to correct it, made me wait another 10 weeks, delivered a dirty replacement and have now left me chasing my own refund.

This company appears interested only in taking customers’ money. Once they have it, the level of customer service is absolutely zero.

I would never order from Sofology again, and I strongly advise anyone considering buying from them to go elsewhere. Save yourself the money, stress and months of frustration.
